Right Of Way/Liberty is a light rail stop on the Muni Metro J Church line, located in the Dolores Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The stop, which opened with the line on August 11, 1917, is located on a short rail-only right of way that allows the line to avoid the steep hill on Church Street to the west. The stop does not have platforms; passengers board from Liberty Street. In March 2014, Muni released details of the proposed implementation of their Transit Effectiveness Project (later rebranded MuniForward), which included a variety of stop changes for the J Church line. The stop at Liberty Street would be closed due to its proximity to the 20th Street and 21st Street stops. A more limited preliminary project announced in November 2019 will not close the stop due to the steep walk to nearby stops, but it may be closed later by the Rapid Project.

In recent years, the park's popularity among San Franciscans looking for outdoor relaxation and recreation has increased, and as of 2016 it was attracting up to 7,000–10,000 people on a sunny weekend day.

The former Second Church of Christ, Scientist is an historic Christian Science church building located at the corner of Dolores Street and Cumberland Street, across from Dolores Park in the Mission District of San Francisco, California. Built in 1916, it was designed by San Francisco architect William H. Crim in the Beaux Arts style. The building was sold in 2012, and conversion into four condominiums was completed in 2016.

Under that proposal, the outbound platform would be moved inside Dolores Park opposite the inbound platform.

In March 2014, Muni released details of the proposed implementation of their Transit Effectiveness Project (later rebranded MuniForward), which included a variety of stop changes for the J Church line. A new outbound platform would be built on the private right of way north of 22nd Street, while a transit bulb would be built for the inbound stop.

22nd Street is an east–west street passing through the Noe Valley, Mission, and Potrero Hill districts of San Francisco, California. The street is discontinuous and exists in several sections: the main western section between Hoffman Avenue and the Bayshore Freeway, a segment from Vermont Street to Wisconsin Street, a short alley off of Missouri Street, and an eastern section from Texas Street to Pier 70. Mission High School is a public high school in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) San Francisco, California.Serving grades 9-12, Mission is the oldest high school on its original site in San Francisco; it has been on 18th Street, between Dolores and Church, since 1896. The original campus burned in 1922, and the replacement was completed in two stages, the west wing in 1925 and the main building was dedicated by San Francisco mayor James Rolph on June 12, 1927. Originally, girls and boys had separate courtyards. The boys' is overlooked by the "baby tower," about 100 feet (30 m) high, and the girls' (right) topped by a 127-foot (39 m)-high baroque dome. Mission Creek runs beneath the school. The school is two blocks from Mission Dolores, from which it gets its name. The current student body is diverse, with Latino and Asian students constituting the two largest ethnic groups, although neither group makes up a majority of the student body.The lobby leads to a theater that has 1,750 folding wooden seats on two levels and a gold-leaf ceiling. Grand as any movie palace, it was outfitted with twin 35 mm projectors. Funding failed to materialize for the elaborate pipe organ system as promised, but the chandeliers have been re-lamped.

The Catacombs was a gay and lesbian S/M leather fisting club in the South of Market area of San Francisco, which operated from 1975 to 1981, and reopened at another location from 1982 to 1984. It was the most famous fisting club in the world. The founder and owner was Steve McEachern. The location was semi-secret and admission was by referral only. It was originally a gay men's club, and Cynthia Slater persuaded the management to open up to lesbians. Among the patrons was Patrick Califia, known then as Pat Califia. The Catacombs has been exhaustively described by sexual anthropologist Gayle Rubin, who calls it "exemplary" in its attempts to deal with the AIDS crisis which would eventually lead to its closure. Patrick Moore devotes a chapter to it in his Beyond Shame: Reclaiming the Abandoned History of Radical Gay Sexuality. Sex educator Carol Queen called it "the place to be seen and to play at during the 1980s."The San Francisco South of Market Leather History Alley consists of four works of art along Ringold Alley honoring leather culture; it opened in 2017. One of the works of art is metal bootprints along the curb which honor 28 people, including Catacombs founder and owner Steve McEachern, who were an important part of the leather communities of San Francisco.

It is a residential area spanning two blocks on Liberty Street and is part of the Liberty Hill Historic District, a city designated landmark district. The J Church Muni light rail crosses the district at the Right Of Way/Liberty station. Liberty Street Historic District is listed as a California Historical Landmark since September 15, 1983; and on the National Register of Historic Places on September 15, 1983, for architecture.
