Huntingdale is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 16 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Monash local government area. Huntingdale recorded a population of 1,949 at the 2021 census.The suburb is bordered by Huntingdale Road to the east, North Road to the south, Franklyn Street to the west and the Princes Highway to the north. The suburbs of Oakleigh, Huntingdale, and Oakleigh East all share the same postcode of 3166. The suburb has both residential and industrial areas, with the southern sections between Hargeaves Street and North Road being largely industrial. The suburb has a noticeable Muslim and Hindu presence, with a mosque and a Hindu temple, as well as being home to the Australian Islamic Bangladesh Council.

Huntingdale railway station is a commuter railway station located adjacent to the suburbs of Oakleigh and Huntingdale located in the south east of Melbourne, Victoria in Australia. The station originally opened in 1927 as "East Oakleigh". It did not receive its current name until 1954. The station consists of a single island platform connected to both Railway Avenue and Haughton Road via a pedestrian subway. Huntingdale station is currently served by the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines which are both part of the Melbourne Railway Network. Additionally the station is served by five bus routes including the 601 university shuttle and SmartBus route 900. The station is approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) or around a 30-minute train ride away from Flinders Street.

Oakleigh is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 14 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Monash local government area. Oakleigh recorded a population of 8,442 at the 2021 census.Once a large independent city, Oakleigh was absorbed into Melbourne as part of the eastward expansion of the metropolis in the 1950s. As a result, it once had its own large historic Central Business District, its own municipality in the former City of Oakleigh and its own suburbs. The area is traditionally known to have a strong Greek cultural influence, largely due to the influx of said immigrants to Australia in the mid-20th century. Fourteen per cent of those living in the suburb speak only Greek at home.Although the origin of the name of the suburb, "Oakleigh," is unclear, local historians have three main theories – that it was derived from she-oaks that grew near Scotchmans Creek; from "Oakleigh Park" an estate near Malvern Hills in England; or from Mrs Oakley, an early settler.

The format is 72-hole stroke play; the first and third days were four-ball (best ball), and the second and fourth days were foursomes (alternate shot) play.The Belgian pair of Thomas Pieters and Thomas Detry won with a score of 265, 23-under-par. Australia and Mexico tied for second place, three strokes behind. It was Belgium's first victory in the World Cup.

The 2001 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship was a golf tournament that was played from 3–7 January 2001 at Metropolitan Golf Club in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was the third WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship and the first of three World Golf Championships events held in 2001. Steve Stricker won his first and only World Golf Championships event at the match-play, by defeating Pierre Fulke 2&1 in the 36 hole final.

Oakleigh railway station is a commuter railway station in the suburb of Oakleigh, south east of Melbourne. Victoria. The station opened in 1877 as the up end of the Gippsland line, with the station being electrified in 1922. The station consists of two island platforms which offer direct street access and are connected via a pedestrian subway. There is a station building on both platforms which functions as a ticket office, a waiting room and a toilet. The station is fully accessible as there are lifts and accessible ramps provided at the station.Oakleigh station is currently served by the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines which are both part of the Melbourne Railway Network. The Sacred Heart Girls' College building is a modern architecture building designed by Frederick Romberg that is used as an educational facility by Sacred Heart Girls' College. The building is positioned on the corner of Warrigal Road and Kangaroo Road, Oakleigh in one of Melbourne's eastern suburbs, in Victoria, Australia. Completed in 1954, this building is a fine example of the modern architectural style. The site was purchased from the Sacred Heart Parish in 1955, established the foundations of the girls' school which would open its doors to its 95 students in 1957.

Sacred Heart Girls' College (SHGC) is an independent Roman Catholic secondary school for girls from years 7 to 12 located in the Melbourne south-eastern suburb of Oakleigh, in Victoria, Australia. The centre has a stadium with four multipurpose courts, a health club, a crossfit box, massage services, a cafe and a state-of-the-art outdoor pool. The pool area contains five pools, an outdoor 50m lap pool, a dive pool with seven diving boards, a multi-purpose pool and a toddler pool and splash pad, which is an aquatic playground.
