SS2, Petaling Jaya is an inner suburb in Petaling Jaya, one of the biggest cities in Malaysia's most developed state of Selangor. It is located 4 km northwest of Petaling Jaya's central business district of Seksyen 52 (also known as Petaling Jaya New Town). Its local government is the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ).

Damansara Jaya is a township consisting of Sections SS22 and SS22A of the city of Petaling Jaya in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is situated within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling district. It covers an estimated area of 1.21 km2 (0.467 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 11,678 residents. The township consists of almost 2000 residential dwellings consisting of 1538 units of terraced houses, 179 semi-detached housing units and 42 bungalows along with a main commercial area (coordinates: 3°7′38.35″N 101°36′58.87″E). The Atria, originally called the Gardenia Town Centre for a brief period of time, is a shopping mall located in the centre of this commercial area. Damansara Jaya is also home to KDU College (previously known as Kolej Damansara Utama) and SMK Damansara Jaya, a government co-educational secondary school.

Taman Bahagia LRT station is a 2-storey LRT train station with a car park in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia that is served by rapidKL's Kelana Jaya Line. The station was constructed between 1995 and 1998 on a piece of land that was previously occupied by the Taman Gelora row of 25 single-storey terraced houses. The owners and residences started to move out of their homes in June 1995. The adjacent Taman Gelora 11 kV Tenaga Nasional substation is the sole reminder of the previous existence of these homes. This station serves the neighbourhoods of SS2, SS3, SS4 and SS23. Buses from this station also extend the reach of this station to sections SS 4, SS5 & SS6 in Kelana Jaya, Damansara Jaya (SS22) & Damansara Utama (SS21). The station is located along Jalan SS 2/3, near the Taman Megah interchange of the Damansara–Puchong Expressway or better known as the LDP. Parking is available behind the station although it is a free car park and there is no security.

Taman Paramount LRT station is an LRT station in Petaling Jaya that is served by rapidKL's Kelana Jaya Line. This station is located in Taman Paramount, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Neighbourhoods surrounding the station include Sections 14, 20, 21 and 22 as well as Kampung Tunku in section SS1 Petaling Jaya.

3 Damansara Shopping Mall (formerly Tropicana City Mall) is a mixed-used buildings which consists of shopping malls, an office block and condominiums. This building is located in Damansara Utama, a suburb in the northern part of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia and located near Damansara Link of Sprint Expressway. It was officially opened on 18 December 2008 by Dijaya Corporation Berhad (Currently known as Tropicana Corporation Sdn Bhd).On 26 January 2015, CapitaMalls Malaysia trust (CMMT) announced the acquisition of Tropicana City Mall and its office tower for RM540 million.

988 FM is a Malaysian Chinese-language radio station. Its broadcast area covers West Malaysia (except Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu) and Singapore. It is managed by Star Media Radio Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Star Media Group Berhad. 988 FM began broadcasting in 1996 as a trilingual radio station, with 50% Chinese content and became a fully-fledged radio station in December 1997. In the surverys conducted by GfK for 2020, 988 FM commanded a weekly listenership of 2.02 million. This amounted to 42% of listeners from the total listenership of Malaysian Chinese radio stations. Jaya One is a neighborhood shopping mall located at Section 13, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is currently split into The Square, The School and Retail Linkway.

The Tun Abdul Aziz Mosque or Masjid Tun Abdul Aziz or also known as Masjid Bulat (Round Mosque) is a mosque in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The mosque is located in Section 14 at the junctions between Jalan Semangat and Jalan Dato' Abdul Aziz. The mosque was constructed between 1975 and 1977, and is in the Modernist style. The mosque was officially opened on 31 July 1977 by the Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah of Selangor. It was named after Tun Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid, a former Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) of Selangor from 1955 to 1956 and also the first Chief Secretary to the Government from 1957 to 1964 and then Yang di-Pertua Negeri (Governor) of Malacca from 1971 to 1975.

Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara is a small village in the Petaling Jaya Utara (PJU6) section of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. This village is located between Bandar Utama Damansara, Damansara Jaya and Damansara Utama. It shares the postcode 47400 with Damansara Utama which lies to the east and adjacent to PJU6.

The Kayu Ara LRT station is a light rapid transit (LRT) station that serves the suburb of Damansara Utama and Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara in Petaling Jaya Selangor, Malaysia. It will be one of the stations on the Shah Alam line. The station is located right next the Kayu Ara River. The station is an elevated rapid transit station in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, forming part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System.The station is marked as Station No. 2 along with the RM9 billion line project with the line's maintenance depot located in Johan Setia, Klang. The Kayu Ara LRT station was expected to be operational in February 2024, but Transport Minister Anthony Loke mentioned that the overall line would be expected to be operational by 1st March 2025 adding more delays to the opening of the Shah Alam Line. It will have facilities such as multi-story park and ride, kiosks, restrooms, elevators, taxi stand, and feeder bus among others.

Damansara Utama is a suburb of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The suburb is divided into two sections, SS20 in the east and SS21 in the west which are separated in the middle by the Damansara–Puchong Expressway, a heavily used six-lane expressway. It has a population of about 142,000 people. It is also within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling District. Also the place of death of Toh Puan Suhaila binti Tan Sri Mohammad Noah, wife of former (3rd) Prime Minister, Tun Hussein Onn.

Kelana Jaya LRT station is a light rail station on the Kelana Jaya Line. It was the former western terminus for passenger services on the line. It is the start of the LRT Extension Project which extended the current terminus to Putra Heights station. It is also the namesake for the LRT line. The station is located besides the southbound carriageway on the Damansara–Puchong Expressway (LDP) between exit 1108 and 1109, although there is an overhead crossing for pedestrians to cross the highway. Located nearby are the neighbourhoods of SS2, Kelana Jaya (SS4 and SS5), and Taman Mayang (SS25). As the station is on a major expressway, it is well served by bus connections that take passengers to the areas of PJ Utara (PJU or Northern Petaling Jaya), Tropicana, Subang Jaya, Sunway and Putrajaya. It is also a local taxi hub.
