The Thomas Buchanan Read School is an historic, American school building that is located in the Elmwood Park neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Clearview is a neighborhood in Southwest Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located from South 78th Street to South 84th Street, east of Cobbs Creek to Lindbergh Boulevard.

Darby station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Darby, Pennsylvania. It is located on the Northeast Corridor at 4th and Colwyn Streets, and serves the Wilmington/Newark Line. The station sits just southeast from the Darby Transportation Center, a SEPTA bus and trolley terminal that is the terminus of Routes 11 and 13 of the SEPTA Subway–Surface Trolley Lines. There are no connections between the two stations. Darby once had two other railroad stations. One, owned by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (now the Philadelphia Subdivision of CSX), sat at Main and Sixth Streets, where the SEPTA Route 11 trolley crosses today. The other, owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad, stood where the current station stands, and later across the tracks.

Communications Technology High School was a public high school serving grades 9–12 located at 8110 Lyons Avenue in the Hedgerow neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school, which was located next to George Pepper Middle School, was part of the School District of Philadelphia's Comprehensive High School Region; in its later years, it operated as a campus of John Bartram High School, which is still in operation. In 2013, amid the rapid growth of publicly-funded charter schools in Philadelphia, the City shut down Communications Technology High School, along with 22 other district-run schools, to cut costs and consolidate the district's remaining students on fewer campuses. Students enrolled at Communications Technology at the time were automatically re-enrolled at the main campus of John Bartram High School.

Curtis Park station is a station along the SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line and Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. Amtrak does not stop here; the station is only served by SEPTA. The station is officially located at Elmwood Avenue near Calcon Hook Road in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. In reality it is located at the dead ends of Oak Avenue, one block east of Calcon Hook Road, and is accessible from Calcon Hook Road from Woodlawn Terrace on the north side of the tracks and Elmwood Avenue from the south side. Curtis Park was originally known as Academy prior to 1948. It was believed to have been named from a local branch of the Holy Child Academy which was once located nearby. The station has been closed and boarded up but still stands as a pair of platformed shelters, dividing Oak Avenue into two halves on either side of the railroad lines while Calcon Hook Road crosses over the lines. The station building was built by or for the Pennsylvania Railroad when the name was changed as the Curtis Publishing Company moved to town.

Elmwood Carhouse is a SEPTA Subway–Surface Trolley Carbarn was constructed in 1981 to house the current Kawasaki LRVs that run on Subway-Surface Routes 11, 13, 34 & 36. Route 10 which also uses Kawasaki LRVs was housed here from September 1992 until September 2005, now with the return of Surface Streetcar Trolley Route 15 back to streetcar operations, Route 10 returned back to Callowhill Carhouse. The Elmwood Carhouse replaced the vintage Woodland Carhouse which was located at 49th & Woodland. On October 23, 1975 part of their carbarn suffered a devastating fire in which several trolleys were destroyed. The official date of Elmwood Carhouse opening was November 15, 1981.

Darby is a borough in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. The borough is located along Darby Creek 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Center City Philadelphia. The borough of Darby is distinct from the nearby municipality of Darby Township.

Academy Park High School is a four-year public high school in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. It is currently the only high school in the Southeast Delco School District. Academy Park High School formed in fall 1982 and its building opened fall 1984. In the interim, the old Collingdale and Sharon Hill high schools were used as an east and west campus for the new school. The former Darby Township High School was converted into Ashland Middle School. Portions of the old Collingdale High School still stand, serving as the town’s borough hall and a municipal court, while the old Sharon Hill High School was demolished. Though the building is gone, the school’s former football field serves as home to the Academy Park Knights. Academy Park’s first principal, Agnes M. Paterson, was an active supporter of the school’s activities and students. She died unexpectedly in spring 1987 after attending a performance of the school district’s annual spring musical. The school’s auditorium has been named in her honor.

80th Street – Eastwick Loop, also known as Island Road & Eastwick Avenue or Eastwick Loop, is a SEPTA trolley terminal station in Philadelphia. It is the western terminus of the SEPTA Subway–Surface Route 36 trolley and is located at Island Avenue near its former intersection with Eastwick Avenue near Interstate 95 in the Eastwick neighborhood of Southwest Philadelphia. The Eastwick station of the SEPTA Regional Rail Airport Line, which serves Philadelphia International Airport, is within walking distance of the station. North of Eastwick Loop, the trolleys travel in an unpaved median parallel to Island Avenue until entering the street at Buist Avenue. Until April 25, 1975, Route 36 trolleys would continue west along what was called Eastwick Avenue out to 88th Street, where a single counterclockwise loop built in the swamplands. This was originally the routing or former Subway Surface Streetcar Trolley Route 37, which was merged into Route 36 on November 6, 1955.

Darby Transportation Center is an intermodal transit station in Darby, Pennsylvania, run by SEPTA. It serves SEPTA Subway-Surface Trolley Lines 11 and 13 as well as SEPTA Suburban Division buses. Near the terminal, a mural can be found of a wall celebrating the arrival of the first Darby streetcars in 1858.The 13 line only serves the Darby Loop when cars are leaving service. Trolleys cannot enter heading westbound from Main Street, but can exit eastbound onto 9th Street following the 11 line tracks to the Elmwood Yard. Darby Transportation Center is 0.8 miles (1.3 km) from the SEPTA Regional Rail Darby station. No direct connection exists between the stations.

Eastwick station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Philadelphia. It serves the Airport Line to Philadelphia International Airport. Located below 84th Street and situated between Mario Lanza Boulevard and Bartram Avenue (PA 291), it is the sole stop between central Philadelphia and the Philadelphia International Airport Terminals. Eastwick is within walking distance of the Eastwick Loop station of the 36 trolley which is located at Island Avenue and 80th Street. In 2013, this station saw 367 boardings and 421 alightings on an average weekday. The station is accessed from Interstate 95 northbound via exit 10 and southbound via exit 12B. Access to the station is granted via a cul-de-sac off of Bartram Avenue and also from Mario Lanza Boulevard. Pedestrians and drivers coming from 84th Street must use either Crane Street to Lanza Boulevard or 84th to south on Bartram. While the station has no official SEPTA parking lot, a number of parking spaces along Mario Lanza Boulevard and Crane Street are used by commuters patronizing the stop. Eastwick station, located along the original Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore Railroad main line, was conceived as 84th Street, under which name (as "proposed") it appeared on 1984 SEPTA informational maps. The present minimalist station was erected in 1997 in order to serve newly built local office parks as quickly as possible. SEPTA, along with the City of Philadelphia, plans to expand the station, transforming it into the Eastwick Transportation Center.When the station opened, it was a Zone 2 station. On July 1, 2013, SEPTA changed Eastwick to a Zone 1 station in conjunction with a fare increase and zone realignment. On the same day, the airport stations changed from Zone 5 to Zone 4.
