Bystra [ˈbɨstra] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wilkowice, within Bielsko County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. The village lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Wilkowice, 8 km (5 mi) south of Bielsko-Biała, and 55 km (34 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice. The village is located in Silesian Beskids, alongside Bystra stream. The name of the village is of topographic origin borrowed from an older name of the Bystra stream (nominative bystry: fast, rapid).

Gmina Buczkowice is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Bielsko County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the village of Buczkowice, which lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south of Bielsko-Biała and 59 km (37 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice. The gmina covers an area of 19.33 square kilometres (7.5 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 11,196.

It is located in the southern part of the city on both banks of the Biała River, the historical border river between Silesia and Lesser Poland; and from the mid-15th century to 1772, also the states of Poland and Bohemia (from 1526 part of the Habsburg monarchy). Administratively there are two osiedla (a form of districts), which have a combined area of 16.3315 km2 (Mikuszowice Krakowskie: 3.8602 km2, Mikuszowice Śląskie: 12.4713 km2) and on December 31, 2006 had altogether 10,041 inhabitants (2,867 in Mikuszowice Krakowskie, 7,174 in Mikuszowice Śląskie).

Wilkowice [vilkɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in Bielsko County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Wilkowice. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Bielsko-Biała and 56 km (35 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice. It is one of the oldest villages in Żywiec Basin. It was established in the early 14th century by the Cistercian monastery in Rudy, which owned the area alongside Łodygowice and Pietrzykowice.

It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) east of Buczkowice, 12 km (7 mi) south of Bielsko-Biała, and 59 km (37 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice. The village was first mentioned in a written document in 1581.

Szczyrk [ʂt͡ʂɨrk] (German: Schirk) is a town in the Beskid Śląski mountains of southern Poland, situated in the valley of the Żylica river. It is part of the Silesian Voivodeship (since 1999), previously being part of the Bielsko-Biała Voivodeship (1975–1998). It has a population of 5,734 people (2019). The town is a popular winter sports centre, with over 60 km of ski runs served by 30 ski lifts. Poland's Winter Olympics athletes train in Szczyrk for events such as skiing and ski jumping.The two mountain ranges that surround the valley are dominated by the peaks of Skrzyczne at 1,257 metres (4,124 feet) and Klimczok 1,117 metres (3,665 feet), both of significant interest to tourists since they have commanding views from either peak. Moreover, both peaks are accessible to most people in one day's hike via the tourist routes. Skrzyczne is also accessible via a chairlift. To the west of Szczyrk is Wisła, a town where the source of the Vistula (Wisła) river can be found (around the Barania Góra mountain).

Skocznia Skalite im. Beskidzkich Olimpijczyków (Beskid Olympians Skalite Ski Jumping Hill) is a complex of three Polish ski jumping hills located in Szczyrk – on the northern slope of the Skalite mountain (864 m), at an altitude of 620 m.It includes the K95 normal hill and smaller facilities K70 and K40. On the largest hill most often takes place FIS Cup competitions.

Słotwina [swɔtˈfina] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lipowa, within Żywiec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Żywiec and 62 km (39 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice.
