Grindley Brook Halt railway station

The South Cheshire Way is a 34-mile (55 km) long-distance footpath running east–west mainly through Cheshire, England, although parts lie in Shropshire and Staffordshire. The western section from Grindley Brook, near Whitchurch, runs through farmland; the eastern section from Mow Cop, near Biddulph, runs through low hills. The footpath is waymarked with black-and-yellow discs inscribed 'SCW'. It is covered by the Ordnance Survey Explorer series 257 and 268 maps, which denote it with a green lozenge.The South Cheshire Way provides easy walking. The eastern terminus, Mow Cop, is the route's high point, at 1,050 feet (320 m), and there is 2,123 feet (647 m) of ascent in total. The path connects with several other long-distance paths, including the Maelor Way, the Staffordshire Way and the Sandstone and Gritstone Trails.

Grindley Brook is a small village in Shropshire, England, on the A41 trunk road around 1.5 miles north west of the market town of Whitchurch. It is the most northerly settlement in Shropshire and borders directly onto Cheshire, and is within the civil parish of Whitchurch Urban. It is also the name of a small brook which flows past the village and marks the Cheshire-Shropshire border at this point.

The parish has a parish meeting rather than a parish council. The area is mostly made up of farmland, with just a small population now having residence in the area. At the 2001 census it had a population of 42, compared to a peak of 98 reported in 1851.Agden is located just 3 miles outside of the market town Whitchurch, and 2.5 miles from Malpas. Bell o' th' Hill is a small, scattered settlement in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, close to the border with Shropshire. Until 2015 it was in the civil parish of Tushingham cum Grindley: it is now in the civil parish of Tushingham-cum-Grindley, Macefen and Bradley. The settlement is adjacent to the A41 road north of Whitchurch, and an earlier line of the main road passes through it. The unusual place-name has been supposed to be a back-formation from that of the historic "Bell on the Hill" inn, but the inn name may in fact have been suggested by the earlier forms "Belle Hill", recorded in 1610, and "Bellow Hill", noted 1675, possibly an Old English name from belg and hläw ("rounded hill"). The Bell was built in 1677 by a London grocer, Edmund Nevitt. Now named the Blue Bell, it was Grade II listed in 1967.A document of 1314 refers to an assart between "le Castelward" and Tushingham Hall, which has been taken to suggest the presence of a castle or motte here.

Tushingham-cum-Grindley, Macefen and Bradley is a civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It was created in 2015, under the terms of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007, from the civil parish of Tushingham cum Grindley with parts of the historic civil parishes of Macefen and Bradley.As part of the boundary reorganisation, a small area in the north of Macefen was incorporated in the civil parish of No Man's Heath and District, and a small area to the west of Bradley, forming a near-exclave between Malpas, Wychough and Chidlow, was transferred to Malpas.The area of the parish is largely farmland, but includes the scattered settlements of Tushingham, Bell o' th' Hill and Bradley Green.

Tushingham Hall is a country house in Tushingham, Cheshire, England. Formerly a moated farmhouse, it was remodelled in the early 19th century for Daniel Vawdrey, retaining many 17th-century features. It is constructed in rendered brick with slate roofs. Its architectural style is Tudor Revival. The house is in two storeys with a symmetrical entrance front. The centre of the front is recessed and contains a canted open porch with three Tudor arches. Above this is a mullioned window containing two sashes. On each side is a similar window in both storeys, those in the upper storey being smaller than those below. Above the window over the porch is a shaped gable containing a wreath, and the rest of the front is crenellated. The interior contains a 17th-century staircase originally in Dearnford Hall, Staffordshire. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

St Chad's Church is on Chester Road (the A41) in the civil parish of Tushingham-cum-Grindley, Macefen and Bradley, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Malpas, the archdeaconry of Chester, and the diocese of Chester. Its benefice is combined with those of St Michael, Marbury, and St Mary, Whitewell. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Tushingham cum Grindley is a former civil parish, now in the parish of Tushingham-cum-Grindley, Macefen and Bradley, in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The parish contained the village of Tushingham and the hamlet of Bell o' th' Hill. According to the 2001 UK census, the total population of the civil parish was 166, rising to 187 at the 2011 Census. The civil parish was abolished in 2015 to form Tushingham-cum-Grindley, Macefen and Bradley.

St Chad's Chapel (often referred to as Old St Chad's) is an isolated church in the scattered community of Tushingham in the civil parish of Tushingham-cum-Grindley, Macefen and Bradley, Cheshire, England. The only approach to the chapel is on footpaths across fields from the A41 road. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.

Bradeley Green is a village in Cheshire East, England. It is located on the A49 road north of Whitchurch and on the county border with Shropshire.

Iscoyd Park is a three-storey redbrick country house in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. It has a slate roof built in the early 18th century. It was sold in 1737 to William Hanmer. The house and estate was then purchased by Philip Lake Godsal in 1843 and remains in the Godsal family to this day. Iscoyd was designated a Grade II* listed building in 1962 as a well-preserved country house. It supported by a range of 18th- and 19th-century service buildings including a park and gardens, outbuildings, coach house, corn house, kennels, laundry, piggery and stables. The dovecote has a pyramidal slate roof. The house is now run by Philip Langley Godsal and his wife Susie, who took over the house from his father Philip Caulfeild Godsal (High Sheriff of Clwyd 1993) in 2009 and began a complete refurbishment. This was funded by operating as a wedding and events business but also remains the Godsal family home. Iscoyd Park has won various awards for the restoration of the house and outbuildings, including the Historic Houses Association and Sotheby's Restoration Award, the Hudson's Heritage Award for Best Wedding Venue, Hudson's Heritage Award for Best Accommodation, Wales Gold Award for Best Services Accommodation, Bridebook's Best National Wedding venue.The parks and gardens are listed as Grade II in the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales.

St Chad's Chapel, Tushingham is a Grade I listed building. There are also a number of Grade II listed buildings which include Tushingham Hall, Tushingham House and the Blue Bell Inn.
