Verneda (Barcelona Metro)

La Verneda i la Pau is the northernmost neighborhood of the Sant Martí district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It borders the neighboring municipality of Sant Adrià de Besòs. Until the 1950s, most of its area was occupied by fields with some masies (such as Can Planas, Ca l'Arnó, Can Riera or Can Cadena) spread over it. Like most of Barcelona's suburbs, such as L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Badalona, Santa Coloma de Gramenet or Sant Adrià de Besòs, La Verneda also saw a dramatic population increase during the following years (specially in the 1960s), resulting in a rapid construction of significantly high buildings and a lack of basic services. The latter situation was partially reversed during the following decades due to continued demanding from residents associations. There is only one metro station located inside the neighborhood limits, La Pau, but there are also some near stations frequently used by inhabitants from La Verneda, such as Sant Martí, Besòs and Verneda (strangely, the latter is located not only outside the La Verneda neighborhood but also in another municipality: Sant Adrià de Besòs).

Bon Pastor is a neighbourhood in Sant Andreu, a district in the city of Barcelona. Since April 2010 it's served by the Barcelona Metro station Bon Pastor.

The Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque is the training ground of the Primera Division club RCD Espanyol and home of RCD Espanyol B and RCD Espanyol Femenino. Located in Sant Adrià de Besòs, it was opened in 2001.

Artigues | Sant Adrià is a Barcelona Metro station in Badalona, named after the neighbourhood of the same name. Despite the latter part of the name, it is not in Sant Adrià del Besòs, and the tag Badalona was added to all signage in the station to avoid confusion. It is served by L2 (purple line). It opened in 1985 with the name Joan XXIII as part of L4 and became a L2 station in 2002. It can be accessed from Carretera de Santa Coloma and from Avinguda de Joan XXIII.

Bon Pastor is a Barcelona Metro station named after the neighbourhood of the same name where the station is situated, part of Barcelona's district of Sant Andreu. This neighbourhood, one of Barcelona's most deprived areas and until very recently made up mostly of cheap public housing has been undergoing some renovation. The station was opened on 18 April 2010 with the opening of the line from this station to Gorg and Can Peixauet, enabling this neighbourhood to be connected with the metro network. It is served by TMB-operated Barcelona Metro lines L9 and L10.

La Pau is a Barcelona metro station located in the neighbourhood of the same name, in the Sant Martí district. The station is located underground of Carrer Guipúscoa and Carrer Ca n'Oliva. It was opened in 1982, serving then as the terminus of L4, which had just been extended to La Pau from Selva de Mar. In 1997 it became the northern terminus of L2, which had formerly been in Sagrada Família. After several modifications on both lines, it has finally become the north-eastern terminus of L4, which is currently undergoing a substantial extension towards the future Sagrera railway station.

Besòs (Catalan pronunciation: [bəˈzɔs]) is a station of the Barcelona Metro, served by L4 (yellow line). It takes its name from the Besòs neighbourhood of Barcelona (named after the river Besòs), in the Sant Martí district. The station is located in the intersection of Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, Carretera de Mataró and Rambla de Prim. It opened in 1982. A connection with the Trambesòs line T5 was introduced in 2006 with the opening of the equally underground tram station.

Artigues (also spelled Artigas, both pronounced [əɾˈtigəs] in Catalan) is an area of Badalona (Barcelonès, Catalonia, Spain) neighbouring Sant Adrià de Besòs. The name derives from a real estate promoter and publisher, Francesc Artigas i Solà, who urbanised the area in 1912. The two spellings of the name reflect Catalan orthography before and after Pompeu Fabra's reform. It was also known as Colònia Artigas, following the convention used in similar industrial areas in the province of Barcelona, and even though officially in the municipality of Badalona, it was often considered to be very autonomous from it and closer to Sant Adrià de Besòs. Within Badalona, it's one of the neighbourhoods which make up the town's district 6. It's part of the innermost region of the metropolitan area of Barcelona, not far from Barcelona proper. Its administrative borders are four streets: carrer d'Alfons XIII, carrer de Bogatell, carrer de Covadonga and carrer de l'Onze de Setembre. The immigrant population of Artigues is important, and during political campaign, some political parties have used their stance on migration policies and management in Artigues as part of their discourse.

El Besòs i el Maresme is a neighborhood in the Sant Martí district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). Originally the land had been irrigated by the irrigation of the burrow and the Verneda, remains of an old arm of the river Besòs that empties into the Camp de la Bóta. The neighborhood stretches along the Rambla de Prim. In the neighborhood there is part of the Parc del Fòrum, built for the event of 2004 Universal Forum of Cultures and there will be built the campus Diagonal-Besòs and Zoo Marine.

Torre La Sagrera also Sagrera Tower also Torre del Triangulo Ferroviario was a failed skyscraper project designed by Frank Gehry in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It would have been 148 metres tall and had 34 floors, and would have become the third tallest building in Barcelona behind Torre Mapfre and Hotel Arts, and sixteenth tallest in Spain.The building was to be located at the end of the Rambla de Prim (Railway Triangle Sagrera Sant Andreu), giving the streets of the Via Trajan, Josep Verneda Soldevila and the way in the future Barcelona Sagrera railway station is expected to be the largest of Spain. Next to the tower, which was planned to house offices, there will be a public park and a museum of transportation. The tower would have had construction costs of 250 million euros.

Sant Adrià de Besòs (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsant əðɾiˈa ðə βəˈzɔs]) is a city and a municipality within the comarca of Barcelonès in Catalonia, north-eastern Spain. It is situated on the Mediterranean coast, at the mouth of river Besòs, extending to both sides of the estuary although the original settlement with the parish church lies on the left bank of the river, in the northern part of town. Sant Adrià is the smallest municipality of Barcelonès and has close ties with the neighbouring cities of Barcelona, Badalona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet, forming a uniform urban area within Barcelona metropolitan area.The municipality straddles major transportation networks and is served by several modes of public transport. Sant Adrià is currently a town dominated by the service sector, but with a diverse manufacturing sector (especially in the areas of metal-work, chemistry, and construction) consisting mostly of medium-sized companies. Historically, it has experienced several massive migration flows attracted by the important industrialisation of the area during the last century and has been subject of various major urban redevelopments. In 2004, Sant Adrià de Besòs was part of the Universal Forum of Cultures.

Llefià is a Barcelona Metro station named after the neighbourhood of the same name where the station is situated, near Llefià Market, in Badalona municipality. This neighbourhood is one of Badalona's with highest population density and built in a very uneven piece of land. The station was opened on 18 April 2010 with the opening of the line from Gorg to Bon Pastor. It is served by TMB-operated Barcelona Metro line L10.
