Grafton Regis

Grafton Regis Meadow is a 2-hectare (4.9-acre) nature reserve east of Grafton Regis in Northamptonshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.This is a traditionally managed hay meadow on the bank of the Grand Union Canal. Birds visiting the site include curlews, lapwings, long-tailed tits, bullfinches, yellowhammers and wrens.There is no public access to the site.

The site of Moor End Castle (historically known as Moreende) is situated opposite Moor End Farm, along Moor End Road in the civil parish of Yardley Gobion, within the historic county of Northamptonshire (the Modern Authority of Northamptonshire, the pre-Local Government Act 1972 county of Northamptonshire).

Alderton is a small English village and civil parish about 9 miles (14 km) south of Northampton, and 10 miles (16 km) north of Milton Keynes, along a road between the A5 and A508 main roads in the southwest and northeast respectively. The nearest large town is Towcester, about 3 miles (5 km) north. The village is famous for the remains of an English Heritage Scheduled Ancient Monument, a Norman Castle, known locally as "The Mount", which was the subject of an investigation by the Channel 4 programme Time Team.

Yardley Gobion ( YARD-lee-GOH-bee-ən) is a village in the south of the English county of Northamptonshire off a by-pass of the A508 Northampton to Milton Keynes road. The village's name means 'rod wood/clearing', where they were made or acquired. Henry Gubyun held land in the village in 1228.

Potterspury Lodge School is a Cambian Group school in Northamptonshire, England. It is an Independent School that caters to children with ASD [autism spectrum disorder] alongside behavioural, SEMH, or barriers to learning. In February 2020 the school achieved a double "Good" from Ofsted for the educational and residential provisions. In August 2020 students achieved the best-ever grades in the school's 64-year history. Mill Crook is a 5.9-hectare (15-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Towcester in Northamptonshire. Mill Crook and Grafton Regis Meadow are a 7.9-hectare (20-acre) nature reserve managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.Signs of medieval ridge and furrow still survive on these traditionally managed hay meadows in Mill Crook on the bank of the River Tove. It has diverse flora, with grasses such as meadow foxtail and sweet vernal-grass, and herbs including great burnet and ribwort plantain.Visitors are advised to contact the Northamptonshire office of the Wildlife Trust for advice on access.

Stoke Park Pavilions are all that remain of the stately house and grounds of Stoke Park near the village of Stoke Bruerne, Northamptonshire, England, approximately 8 miles (13 km) south of Northampton and 11 miles (18 km) north of Milton Keynes.

Potterspury is a populous village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, England. The nearest main town is Milton Keynes, the centre of which is about 7 miles south-east. At the time of the 2011 census, the parish's population (including Furtho) was 1,453 people.The village's name is a concatenation. It was originally cognate with Perry and sometimes written as such, implying pear tree or orchard. Several places are named such regionally. The helpful (disambiguatory) prefix 'Potters', seen by the 15th century, is a nod to the very old, important potteries here. An alternative is "Estpury", seen in 1452.

Stoke Bruerne Brick Pits is a six hectare nature reserve in Stoke Bruerne in Northamptonshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.This former brickworks was opened at the end of the eighteenth century for the construction of the Grand Junction Canal, and is on its bank. There are diverse habitats with grassland, ponds, a reed bed and a redundant arm of the canal. Invertebrates include white-legged damselflies and there are a variety of small mammals which provide food for barn owls.There is access from the canal towpath.

Ashton is a village in West Northamptonshire about 1 mile (1.6 km) southeast of Roade village close to the Northampton to Milton Keynes A508, ca.3 miles (5 km) south of junction 15 of the M1 motorway, 6 miles (10 km) south of Northampton and 11 miles (18 km) north of Milton Keynes. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 395. The village is about 67 miles (107.8 km) north of London via the M1 junction 15. The West Coast Main Line intersects the village on its eastern side. The villages name means 'At the ash-trees'.

Stoke Bruerne is a small village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, England about 10 miles (16 km) north of Milton Keynes and 7 miles (11 km) south of Northampton. The civil parish population at the 2011 Census was 373.

The Canal Museum, formerly known as the "National Waterways Museum Stoke Bruerne" and "The Canal Museum at Stoke Bruerne", is a canal museum located next to the Grand Union Canal just south of the Blisworth Tunnel, near the village of Stoke Bruerne in Northamptonshire. It is about 10 miles (16 km) north of Milton Keynes and 7 miles (11 km) south of Northampton near junction 15 of the M1 motorway.
