Potterspury is a populous village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, England. The nearest main town is Milton Keynes, the centre of which is about 7 miles south-east. At the time of the 2011 census, the parish's population (including Furtho) was 1,453 people.The village's name is a concatenation. It was originally cognate with Perry and sometimes written as such, implying pear tree or orchard. Several places are named such regionally. The helpful (disambiguatory) prefix 'Potters', seen by the 15th century, is a nod to the very old, important potteries here. An alternative is "Estpury", seen in 1452.

Potterspury Lodge School is a Cambian Group school in Northamptonshire, England. It is an Independent School that caters to children with ASD [autism spectrum disorder] alongside behavioural, SEMH, or barriers to learning. In February 2020 the school achieved a double "Good" from Ofsted for the educational and residential provisions. In August 2020 students achieved the best-ever grades in the school's 64-year history. The grades achieved far exceeded the national averages for special schools with 25% of all passes in English and Maths achieved at Grades 9-5 against the national average for special schools of just 1% (DfE 2018/19 data). In January 2021 Ofsted awarded the residential provision Children's Home status, this has allowed the school to expand the capacity for the provision to admit 38 and 52-week students.

Grafton Regis is a village and civil parish in the south of the English county of Northamptonshire. The population of the civil parish (including Alderton) at the 2001 census was 152. This increased to 253 at the 2011 census. The village is east of the A508 road, on which it has a short frontage and two bus stops. It is ca. 8 miles (13 km) south of Northampton and 9 miles (14 km) north of Milton Keynes. This village is "linked" with the title of the Duke of Grafton (the first Duke was a son of King Charles II of England ).

Grafton Regis Meadow is a 2-hectare (4.9-acre) nature reserve east of Grafton Regis in Northamptonshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.This is a traditionally managed hay meadow on the bank of the Grand Union Canal. Birds visiting the site include curlews, lapwings, long-tailed tits, bullfinches, yellowhammers and wrens.There is no public access to the site.

Alderton is a small English village and civil parish about 9 miles (14 km) south of Northampton, and 10 miles (16 km) north of Milton Keynes, along a road between the A5 and A508 main roads in the southwest and northeast respectively. The nearest large town is Towcester, about 3 miles (5 km) north. The village is famous for the remains of an English Heritage Scheduled Ancient Monument, a Norman Castle, known locally as "The Mount", which was the subject of an investigation by the Channel 4 programme Time Team.

In 1931 the parish had a population of 25.The origin of the village's name is uncertain: 'before the hill-spur' or 'ford hill-spur' are conjectured.Furtho is east of Potterspury, west of Cosgrove and about 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Stony Stratford. The nearest towns are Wolverton 3 miles (5 km) to the southeast and Towcester 5 miles (8 km) to the northwest.

St Bartholomew's Church is a redundant Anglican church in the former village of Furtho, Northamptonshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. A former medieval village, it became deserted following enclosures that began in the early 16th century and were completed by Thomas Furtho in the 1570s. All that remains in the vicinity of the church is a farm and a dovecote.

Mill Crook is a 5.9-hectare (15-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Towcester in Northamptonshire. Mill Crook and Grafton Regis Meadow are a 7.9-hectare (20-acre) nature reserve managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.Signs of medieval ridge and furrow still survive on these traditionally managed hay meadows in Mill Crook on the bank of the River Tove. It has diverse flora, with grasses such as meadow foxtail and sweet vernal-grass, and herbs including great burnet and ribwort plantain.Visitors are advised to contact the Northamptonshire office of the Wildlife Trust for advice on access.
