Cisowa [t͡ɕiˈsɔva] is a district of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Poland, located in the northern part of the city. The name of the district is of Polish origin and comes from the word cis, which means "yew".During the Third Silesian Uprising, on May 8, 1921, Polish insurgents captured Cisowa from the Germans without a fight.

The Gliwice Canal (Polish: Kanał Gliwicki, German: Gleiwitzer Kanal) is a canal connecting the Oder (Odra) River to the city of Gliwice in the Silesian Voivodeship (Upper Silesian Industrial Region), Poland. Kędzierzyn-Koźle County (Polish: powiat kędzierzyńsko-kozielski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Opole Voivodeship, south-western Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and only town is Kędzierzyn-Koźle, which lies 40 kilometres (25 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole. The county covers an area of 625.28 square kilometres (241.4 sq mi). As of 2019 its total population is 94,135, out of which the population of Kędzierzyn-Koźle is 60,852 and the rural population is 33,283.

Zalesie Śląskie [zaˈlɛɕɛ ˈɕlɔ̃skʲɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Leśnica, within Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) east of Leśnica, 10 km (6 mi) south of Strzelce Opolskie, and 37 km (23 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.
