Gliwice Canal

Koźle (German: Cosel) is a district of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Poland, located in the western part of the city at the junction of the Kłodnica and Oder rivers, c. 50 km southeast of Opole. The district has a Roman Catholic church, a medieval chateau, remains of a 19th-century fortress and a high school. Koźle's industries include a shipyard and an inland port.

Kłodnica (German: Klodnitz) is a river in the Upper Silesia region. It is about 75 km long and a right tributary of the Odra river. Along Kłodnica's shore are Polish cities of Katowice, Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Ruda Śląska, Gliwice, and Zabrze. There was also a Kłodnica Canal that opened in 1806. This water transport facility has been replaced by the Gliwice Canal.

Krasowa [kraˈsɔva] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Leśnica, within Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Leśnica, 15 km (9 mi) south-west of Strzelce Opolskie, and 34 km (21 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.

Gmina Reńska Wieś, German Gemeinde Reinschdorf is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the village of Reńska Wieś (Reinschdorf), which lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Kędzierzyn-Koźle and 42 km (26 mi) south of the regional capital Opole. The gmina covers an area of 97.91 square kilometres (37.8 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 8,251. Since 2006 the commune, like much of the area, has been bilingual in German and Polish, a substantial German minority having remained behind after the area was transferred to Polish control.

Reńska Wieś [ˈrɛɲska ˈvjɛɕ] is a village in Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland in the region of Upper Silesia. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) of the same name. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Kędzierzyn-Koźle and 42 km (26 mi) south of the regional capital Opole.

Większyce [vjɛnkˈʂɨt͡sɛ] (German: Wiegschütz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Reńska Wieś, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Reńska Wieś, 8 km (5 mi) west of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 39 km (24 mi) south of the regional capital Opole (German: "Oppeln"). Większyce / Wiegschütz is bilingual: German and Polish. It is officially called in both languages.

Kobylice [kɔbɨˈlit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Cisek, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Cisek, 5 km (3 mi) south-west of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 43 km (27 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.

Kurzawka [kuˈʐafka] (German Kuschofka, Kuschowka, 1939–1945 Kuschhofen; Silesian Kuszówka) is a settlement belonging to the sołectwo of Raszowa in the administrative district of Gmina Leśnica, within Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.

Strzelce Opolskie railway station is a station in Strzelce Opolskie, Opole Voivodeship, Poland. The building is located by 6 Dworcowa Street. The modern-day railway station was built in 1935 to meet the then modern-day standards. The railway station was at its height in the Interwar period and during the Polish People's Republic, with trains heading to Fosowskie and Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Formerly, there also existed an industrial spur to the industrial complex of Agromet-Pionier and Zakłady Wapiennicze. In the 1990s, when the Polskie Koleje Państwowe were hit by a general financial crisis, the railway station fell into ruins. The waiting room, baggage hold and public washrooms were closed due to the deteriorating state of the building. In 2000, the direct routes to Fosowskie and Kędzierzyn-Koźle were terminated. Between 2013 and 2014, together with the modernisation of the Błotnica Strzelecka - Opole Groszowice railway line, the railway station platforms and tunnel were renovated. As a result, the railway station was revivied, with increasing Tanie Linie Kolejowe and PKP Intercity connections.
