Rock Hill High School (RHHS) is the first of the three high schools in Rock Hill, South Carolina. A part of Rock Hill Schools, it offers the International Baccalaureate diploma to its senior class students, as well as dual credit and Advanced Placement. As of February 2016, RHHS has approximately 2,000 students in grades 9–12.

WRHJ-LP (93.1 FM) is a low-power radio station broadcasting a religious format. Licensed to Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States, the station is currently owned by Southside Baptist Church and features programming from the Fundamental Broadcasting Network.

W281BE, known as 104.1 the Bridge, is a Contemporary Christian radio station licensed to Fort Mill, South Carolina, which relays the HD2 channel of WRHM. W232AX, which broadcasts on 94.3 FM also airs the same programming (also relays WRHM-HD2). The station is owned by parent group, OTS Media, which also owns WRHI/1340 and Interstate 107.1/107.3 (WRHM/WVSZ) The station airs Winthrop University basketball, as well as a coaches' show featuring Pat Kelsey.A ribbon cutting took place September 30, 2014.

The Catawba Rosenwald School is a historic school building at 3071 South Anderson Road United States Route 21) in Catawba, South Carolina. It is a single-story wood-frame structure, built in 1924–25 with support from the Rosenwald Fund, to one of the fund's architectural plans. It served as a school for the area's African-American population from then until its closure in 1956. In 1960 the vacant building was moved within the same property to accommodate the widening of South Anderson Road. It is one of two surviving Rosenwald schools in York County. It is owned by the Rock Hill School District.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Rock Hill Galleria is an enclosed regional shopping mall for York, Chester, and Lancaster Counties. It is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Opened in 1991, the mall features three anchors (Belk, Walmart, Dick's) and around 70 specialty shops there are only 29 stores inside the mall currently and most stores have been closed down since there is hardly any business inside this mall or the stores that closed down have gone out of business. The mall is currently managed by Warren Norman Company.

Catawba (cuh-TAW-buh) is an unincorporated community in York County, South Carolina, United States, southeast of the city of Rock Hill. The community, Catawba, was once referred to as Catawba Ridge, but this name recently became unpopular. Only tribal elders from the Catawba Indian Reservation now refer to the community as Catawba Ridge.

Ogden is an unincorporated community in York County, South Carolina, United States, located along South Carolina Highway 324, southwest of Rock Hill. The elevation of Ogden is 532 feet.

York Technical College (York Tech) is a public community college in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is part of the South Carolina Technical College System and one of three colleges in the city of Rock Hill. York Tech was established in 1964 and presently serves York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.

Manchester Meadows Soccer Complex is a multi field soccer complex containing two stadiums located in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Highland Park Manufacturing Plant and Cotton Oil Complex is a historic industrial complex and national historic district located at Rock Hill, South Carolina. It encompasses three contributing building and two contributing structures in Rock Hill. The complex includes the Highland Park Manufacturing Plant (1888–89, 1907), the Highland Park Cotton Oil Mill (1902), and the Highland Park Cotton Oil Mill Office (1902). They are the surviving buildings of a larger complex, including a gin and seed house, the rest of which have been demolished. Surrounding the original mill are portions of the mill village. The mill operated until 1968.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Nation Ford Fish Weir is a historic fishing weir located near Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is one of the few relatively intact Native American fish weirs remaining in South Carolina. It is a double V-shaped rock fish trap or weir located in the channel of the Catawba River upstream from the railroad trestle at Nation Ford. The weir is located near the Nation Ford Road crossing point of the river and to several documented Catawba people villages.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Red River is an unincorporated community in York County, South Carolina, United States. The community is surrounded by the city of Rock Hill along the Catawba River in the piedmont of South Carolina. It has not yet been annexed into the city of Rock Hill, but in the recent years the area surrounding the community have been annexed, because South Carolina has strict laws on cities annexing the surrounding areas of cities. Red River has an elevation of 548 feet.
