The Catawba Rosenwald School is a historic school building at 3071 South Anderson Road United States Route 21) in Catawba, South Carolina. It is a single-story wood-frame structure, built in 1924–25 with support from the Rosenwald Fund, to one of the fund's architectural plans. It served as a school for the area's African-American population from then until its closure in 1956. In 1960 the vacant building was moved within the same property to accommodate the widening of South Anderson Road. It is one of two surviving Rosenwald schools in York County. It is owned by the Rock Hill School District.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Lesslie is a census-designated place located in York County, South Carolina, United States, southeast of the city of Rock Hill. In 2010, Lesslie had a total population of 2,882 people. While Lesslie is sometimes considered to be a town, it is not incorporated and does not have a town council or mayor. Lesslie is a fast-growing suburban area a part of the Charlotte Metro along Interstate 77, which can be accessed from exits 75 and 77.

York Technical College (York Tech) is a public community college in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is part of the South Carolina Technical College System and one of three colleges in the city of Rock Hill. York Tech was established in 1964 and presently serves York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.

Highland Park Manufacturing Plant and Cotton Oil Complex is a historic industrial complex and national historic district located at Rock Hill, South Carolina. It encompasses three contributing building and two contributing structures in Rock Hill. The complex includes the Highland Park Manufacturing Plant (1888–89, 1907), the Highland Park Cotton Oil Mill (1902), and the Highland Park Cotton Oil Mill Office (1902). They are the surviving buildings of a larger complex, including a gin and seed house, the rest of which have been demolished. Surrounding the original mill are portions of the mill village. The mill operated until 1968.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Rock Hill Galleria is an enclosed regional shopping mall for York, Chester, and Lancaster Counties. It is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Opened in 1991, the mall features three anchors (Belk, Walmart, Dick's) and around 70 specialty shops there are only 29 stores inside the mall currently and most stores have been closed down since there is hardly any business inside this mall or the stores that closed down have gone out of business. The mall is currently managed by Warren Norman Company.

Reid Street–North Confederate Avenue Area Historic District is a national historic district located at Rock Hill, South Carolina. It encompasses 22 contributing buildings in a middle-class residential section of Rock Hill. The district developed between about 1839 and 1935. Architectural styles represented include Victorian, Classical Revival, Queen Anne, and Bungalow. Notable buildings include the Steed House (c. 1905), Bynum House (c. 1902), Jenkins House (c. 1905), and Gross-Brock House (c. 1905), along with the separately listed White House.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The White Home in Rock Hill, South Carolina is a historical site & wedding venue. Five generations of the White family lived in the house between 1837 and 2005. Over the years, the home transformed from a one-room cottage into an eighteen-room, two story house. It is located in the Reid Street-North Confederate Avenue Area Historic District.

York Preparatory Academy is a public charter school authorized by the South Carolina Public Charter School District. Opened in 2010, York Preparatory Academy serves many students in York County, South Carolina from grades K-12 with some students from other nearby counties. York Preparatory Academy is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina in a suburban-rural transition area. In February 2014, York Preparatory Academy became the first public charter school in South Carolina to issue a non-profit bond through private investments, allowing the school to take ownership of the 42-acre campus, which has four large buildings, sports fields, and parking. The $30 million bond came to fruition in part due to the strong enrollment profile of the school. The current enrollment at the school is approximately 1500 students in grades K-12. York Preparatory Academy is one of the largest brick-and mortar public charter schools in the Carolinas.

First Presbyterian Church is a historic church at 234 E. Main Street in Rock Hill, South Carolina.It was designed by Charles Coker Wilson and was built in 1894. It was added to the National Register in 1992.

Rock Hill Downtown Historic District consists of twelve contiguous buildings built between 1870 and 1931 in downtown Rock Hill in York County, South Carolina.The twelve buildings are: Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 144 Caldwell St. First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 201 E. White St. First Baptist Church, 215 E. Main St. St. John's United Methodist Church, St. John's Court Old Post Office Building, 325 Oakland Ave. Post Office and Federal Building, 102 E. Main St. Andrew Jackson Hotel, 223 E. Main St. Citizens Bank Building, 157 E. Main St. McFadden Building, 212 E. Main St. Bass Furniture Company, 208-210 E. Main St. Fink's Department Store 206 E. Main St. Rock Hill Supply Company, 202 E. Main St.In 1931 the Old Post Office Building was moved about a block from its original site where the new Post Office now stands. The Old Post Office then served as a library, until 1974, and now serves as a private office building. It was built in 1906 and designed by James Knox Taylor, the Supervising Architect of the Treasury.
