Nation Ford Fish Weir is a historic fishing weir located near Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is one of the few relatively intact Native American fish weirs remaining in South Carolina. It is a double V-shaped rock fish trap or weir located in the channel of the Catawba River upstream from the railroad trestle at Nation Ford. The weir is located near the Nation Ford Road crossing point of the river and to several documented Catawba people villages.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Rock Hill Galleria is an enclosed regional shopping mall for York, Chester, and Lancaster Counties. It is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Opened in 1991, the mall features three anchors (Belk, Walmart, Dick's) and around 70 specialty shops there are only 29 stores inside the mall currently and most stores have been closed down since there is hardly any business inside this mall or the stores that closed down have gone out of business. The mall is currently managed by Warren Norman Company.

Giordana Velodrome is a cycling track in Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States. It opened in March 2012. The 250-meter track is made of concrete with a 42.5 degree embankment in the corners and a 17 degree embankment on the front and back straights. The velodrome is part of the Rock Hill Outdoor Center. U.S. national track cycling championships were held there in 2012 and 2013. The velodrome was designed by Ralph Schürmann, a cycling track architect from Münster, Germany. Giordana Velodrome is going to be the center of a recreational area, of which the construction is still in progress. Additional cycling venues, athletic fields, parks, gardens and greenspace are planned nearby.

Temple Kol Ami is a Reform Jewish congregation and synagogue located in Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina, in the United States. The congregation was founded in 2010, and is one of two Jewish congregations in York County, and one of eleven synagogues in the Charlotte metropolitan area.

York Technical College (York Tech) is a public community college in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is part of the South Carolina Technical College System and one of three colleges in the city of Rock Hill. York Tech was established in 1964 and presently serves York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.

Spratt Cemetery is a historic family cemetery located near Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina. It contains graves of three generations of the Spratt family, and other early settlers of the Fort Mill area. The cemetery consists of 14 marked graves and approximately 9 graves with broken stones or partial markers. It includes the grave of Thomas "Kanawha" Spratt (ca. 1731–1807), one of the first settlers of the area, and located adjacent to the site his homestead along Nation Ford Road. The land was provided for the Spratt homestead by the General New River, leader of the Catawba tribe.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

York Preparatory Academy is a public charter school authorized by the South Carolina Public Charter School District. Opened in 2010, York Preparatory Academy serves many students in York County, South Carolina from grades K-12 with some students from other nearby counties. York Preparatory Academy is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina in a suburban-rural transition area. In February 2014, York Preparatory Academy became the first public charter school in South Carolina to issue a non-profit bond through private investments, allowing the school to take ownership of the 42-acre campus, which has four large buildings, sports fields, and parking. The $30 million bond came to fruition in part due to the strong enrollment profile of the school. The current enrollment at the school is approximately 1500 students in grades K-12. York Preparatory Academy is one of the largest brick-and mortar public charter schools in the Carolinas.

Riverview is a census-designated place (CDP) in York County, South Carolina, United States, located southwest of Fort Mill along the Catawba River. The population was 708 at the 2000 census.

Eagle Field is a soccer-specific stadium located in Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States, on the campus of Winthrop University. The 1,500 seat stadium was built in 1997 and upgraded in 2001 and 2005. It is rated as one of the top soccer facilities in Metrolina. In 2013, Eagle Field and the Charlotte Eagles of the USL Pro hosted the first MLS team in the upstate of South Carolina when the Chicago Fire Soccer Club came to town for the U.S. Open Cup.

Banks-Mack House is a historic home located at Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina. It was built about 1871, and enlarged and renovated in the Classical Revival style in 1910. It is a two-story, frame dwelling with a one-story, hip roofed wraparound porch. The porch once encompassed a large hickory tree that was removed because of damage from Hurricane Hugo in September 1989.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Mills House is a historic home located at Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina. It was built in 1906, and is a two-story, frame dwelling in the Classical Revival style with a slate hipped roof. The front façade features a central lower porch topped by an upper tier and flanked by side porches. All porches have Doric order columns and turned balusters.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
