Red River is an unincorporated community in York County, South Carolina, United States. The community is surrounded by the city of Rock Hill along the Catawba River in the piedmont of South Carolina. It has not yet been annexed into the city of Rock Hill, but in the recent years the area surrounding the community have been annexed, because South Carolina has strict laws on cities annexing the surrounding areas of cities. Red River has an elevation of 548 feet.

Rock Hill Galleria is an enclosed regional shopping mall for York, Chester, and Lancaster Counties. It is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Opened in 1991, the mall features three anchors (Belk, Walmart, Dick's) and around 70 specialty shops there are only 29 stores inside the mall currently and most stores have been closed down since there is hardly any business inside this mall or the stores that closed down have gone out of business. The mall is currently managed by Warren Norman Company.

Giordana Velodrome is a cycling track in Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States. It opened in March 2012. The 250-meter track is made of concrete with a 42.5 degree embankment in the corners and a 17 degree embankment on the front and back straights. The velodrome is part of the Rock Hill Outdoor Center. U.S. national track cycling championships were held there in 2012 and 2013. The velodrome was designed by Ralph Schürmann, a cycling track architect from Münster, Germany. Giordana Velodrome is going to be the center of a recreational area, of which the construction is still in progress. Additional cycling venues, athletic fields, parks, gardens and greenspace are planned nearby.

Temple Kol Ami is a Reform Jewish congregation and synagogue located in Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina, in the United States. The congregation was founded in 2010, and is one of two Jewish congregations in York County, and one of eleven synagogues in the Charlotte metropolitan area.

Manchester Meadows Soccer Complex is a multi field soccer complex containing two stadiums located in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Spratt Cemetery is a historic family cemetery located near Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina. It contains graves of three generations of the Spratt family, and other early settlers of the Fort Mill area. The cemetery consists of 14 marked graves and approximately 9 graves with broken stones or partial markers. It includes the grave of Thomas "Kanawha" Spratt (ca. 1731–1807), one of the first settlers of the area, and located adjacent to the site his homestead along Nation Ford Road. The land was provided for the Spratt homestead by the General New River, leader of the Catawba tribe.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Banks-Mack House is a historic home located at Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina. It was built about 1871, and enlarged and renovated in the Classical Revival style in 1910. It is a two-story, frame dwelling with a one-story, hip roofed wraparound porch. The porch once encompassed a large hickory tree that was removed because of damage from Hurricane Hugo in September 1989.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Mills House is a historic home located at Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina. It was built in 1906, and is a two-story, frame dwelling in the Classical Revival style with a slate hipped roof. The front façade features a central lower porch topped by an upper tier and flanked by side porches. All porches have Doric order columns and turned balusters.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

York Technical College (York Tech) is a public community college in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is part of the South Carolina Technical College System and one of three colleges in the city of Rock Hill. York Tech was established in 1964 and presently serves York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.

Thornwell-Elliott House is a historic home located at Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina. It was built about 1877, and is a one-story, L-shaped frame dwelling in the Late Victorian style. The front façade features hip roofed porch with decorative brackets and turned balustrade.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Fort Mill, also known as Fort Mill Township, is a town in York County, South Carolina, United States. It is a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. As of 2020 census, the population of the town was 24,521. Some businesses and residents in the Indian Land community of neighboring Lancaster County share a Fort Mill mailing address, but the official town boundary extends only within York County. The Fort Mill area is home to notable businesses such as the headquarters of Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps (who were DCI World Champions in 2013), LPL Financial, Continental Tire the Americas (Lancaster County), LLC., CompuCom Systems, Diversey, Inc., Sunbelt Rentals, Domtar, Springs Industries, AECOM (Lancaster County), Shutterfly, Red Ventures (Lancaster County), Daimler Trucks North America, and Puckerbutt Pepper Company, known for originally producing the Carolina Reaper.

The loyal slaves monument (or faithful slaves monument; it does not have a formal proper name) is an 1896 monument in Confederate Park in Fort Mill, South Carolina, dedicated to the proposition that slaves were loyal and gladly helpful to the Confederacy, and honoring them. This small monument was the first faithful-slave monument in the United States, and remains one of very few in the South mentioning or depicting slaves, and the only one dedicated entirely to slaves as a general class.
