Creekside High School is a public high school serving grades nine through twelve. It is located in Fairburn, Georgia, United States. It is a part of the Fulton County School System. The school opened in the fall of 1990 as a result of the merger of Campbell High School in Fairburn, and Palmetto High School in Palmetto. The merger happened as a result of a consolidation plan to reduce the costs of the school system, comply with new state laws mandating minimum attendance numbers for government-funded schools, and upgrade the course offerings of all schools in the county.

The City of South Fulton is in Fulton County, Georgia, United States, in the Atlanta metropolitan area. It was incorporated in 2017 from parts of southwest Fulton County and includes the communities of Red Oak, Cooks Crossing, Stonewall, Fife, Ben Hill, Sandtown, Cliftondale, Ono, Cedar Grove, Boat Rock/Dry Pond, Maude, Lester, Enon, Welcome All, Peters Woods, and part of Campbellton. As of 2020, it had a population of 107,436, making it the state's eighth-largest city in population. Also as of 2020, South Fulton has the highest African-American percentage of any U.S. city over 100,000, surpassing highly African-American cities such as Detroit and Jackson.

Northgate High School (NGHS) is a public high school located in northeastern Coweta County near Newnan, Georgia, United States. Founded in 1996, Northgate is the newest of the three Coweta County School System high schools. Northgate offers four diploma choices: College Prep with Distinction, College Prep, Career/Technical with Distinction, and Career/Technical. Students may also choose a dual diploma program with both college prep and career/tech seals. Feeder schools include Lee Middle School, Madras Middle School and Arnall Middle School. Madras also feeds into the nearby Newnan High School.

Serenbe is a neighborhood within the city limits of Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, United States. Serenbe is an example of New Urbanism. Steve Nygren, who had previously opened a Bed & Breakfast in the area, developed Serenbe. The name "Serenbe" was his wife Marie's idea, and refers to the location's serenity. The name is a portmanteau of "serenity" and "to be". Serenbe's residences consist of single-family houses and row houses. All have front porches but no backyards; they face a common greenspace and trails. Proximity to shops and services encourages walking. Architectural styles include Arts and Crafts-style cottages, loft-style townhouses and sleek modern "boxes". The village comprises three hamlets. The Selborne hamlet is devoted to the visual and culinary arts and currently contains Serenbe's retail shops. The Grange hamlet has an agricultural theme, and the Mado hamlet focuses on health and healing. In the 1990s, Steve and Marie Nygren visited an organic farm, and this is when they developed a vision to create an entirely sustainable community that was just outside of Atlanta. Part of their goal was to protect the wetlands and natural landscape of the Chattahoochee Hills area. The first residential home was sold in 2005, and there are now over 800 residents living at Serenbe. Serenbe is an example of an urban village, and 70% of its land is protected from development. Nygren was inspired by principles of New Urbanism and applied that to his town design, with walkability and shared green spaces and a variety of houses and buildings. The layout of Serenbe is designed to make efficient use of space, and it has 20% more housing per square mile than other suburbs. Serenbe has received criticism for being a bubble outside of Atlanta, with high-end goods and homes that on average cost more than a million dollars.

The Georgia Renaissance Festival is a Renaissance fair that recreates England's renaissance for entertainment purposes. The time period for the festival is set as the 16th century, during the reign of King Henry VIII. The festival is located near Fairburn, Georgia, United States and has been in operation since 1986. Situated on 32 acres (130,000 m2) of the land, the festival is open for eight weekends during late spring and early summer, plus Memorial Day and one Field Trip Day each year for Students to experience life in Renaissance England The festival was canceled for the 2020 season because of COVID-19. From 2021 & hereafter, social distancing and wearing masks are required.

Fairburn is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States, with a population of 12,950, according to the 2010 census. Though it has a rich history of its own, the city is now a closely linked suburb of Atlanta, which lies just 17 miles to the north.

B.T. Brown Reservoir is a reservoir of 300 acres (1.2 km2) in Coweta County, Georgia, United States. It is located at 621 S Alexander Creek Road Newnan, Georgia 30263. The reservoir is maintained by the Coweta County Water & Sewerage Authority . The reservoir was built for its ability to be a water treatment facility. The reservoir was rebuilt at a cost of $13 million and completed in 2006. The production of drinking water began in 2007. As of 2007, this facility will produce 2 million US gallons (7,600 m3) of water daily with a maximum capacity to produce 6 million US gallons (23,000 m3) daily.B.T. Brown reservoir is accessible to all Coweta County Residents with a few requirements. Obtaining a permit requires going to the Coweta County Water & Sewerage Authority located at 545 Corinth Road, Newnan, Georgia 30263.

Landmark Christian School is a K-12 private Christian school in the Atlanta metropolitan area in Georgia, United States. It has a main campus in Fairburn, serving students in grades K4 through 12, and a satellite campus in Peachtree City, serving grades K4 through 4.

Campbell County was a county of the U.S. state of Georgia from 1828 (1828) to 1931 (1931). It was created by the state legislature on December 20, 1828, from land taken from Fayette, Coweta, and Carroll counties, and from the half of DeKalb County which became Fulton County soon afterward. Georgia's Cherokee Land Lottery of 1832 also added to the county. The county was named for Duncan G. Campbell, one of the U.S. commissioners responsible for the Treaty of Indian Springs.The original county seat was Campbellton. When the Atlanta & West Point Railroad began to plan its route, the town's residents said no due to noise concerns, and the tracks were laid through Fairburn instead, which flourished while Campbellton died out, and Fairburn became the county seat in 1870. The Campbell County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The northwestern half of Campbell (and a bit more of Carroll) became Douglas County in 1870, divided on October 17 at the Chattahoochee River. The remainder of Campbell County was ceded to Fulton County at the end of 1931, along with Milton County, after Campbell County went bankrupt. The legislation creating the merger was enacted on August 9, 1929, with Milton being added to the process in 1931.

The Campbell County Courthouse in Fairburn, Georgia, also known as the Old Campbell County Courthouse, is a Greek Revival brick building that was built in 1871. It was the courthouse for the defunct Campbell County, Georgia, until it merged into Fulton County in 1932.It is significant in part for being a very late example of 19th-century high classical style in Georgia, as it was built just six years after the American Civil War. During that period there was little construction at all, and continuing construction followed eclectic styles rather than the "purely classical forms" executed in this courthouse's design.: 4–5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Tyrone is a town in Fayette County, Georgia, United States. The population was 6,879 at the 2010 census, up from 3,916 in 2000. The estimated population in 2018 was 7,388. It is a part of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
