Sandy Creek High School (SCHS) is a public high school in Tyrone, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Fayette County School System. Sandy Creek serves Tyrone, northern Fayetteville, and northern portions of Peachtree City. It opened in 1991 with approximately 400 students in order to relieve overcrowding at Fayette County High School and McIntosh High School. During 2021, the school had 1,207 students enrolled in grades 9–12 and was accredited by the Southern Association of High Schools and Colleges.

Lake Kedron is a 235-acre (95 ha) reservoir in Peachtree City, Georgia. It holds about 1 billion gallons of water. It is located on the north side of the city, within the village of Kedron. Recreational fishing is allowed with a license, but swimming is prohibited. Lake Kedron is a manmade lake formed by a portion of Flat Creek along with other smaller channels of water flowing into it. At its dam, Lake Kedron drains into Flat Creek, which continues through the heart of Peachtree City by feeding Lake Peachtree and then merging with Line Creek southwest of the town.

Lake McIntosh is a 650-acre (260 ha) reservoir in Peachtree City, Georgia. It holds 1.5 billion gallons of water, and supplies 10.4 million gallons a day to the Crosstown Water Treatment Plant.

McIntosh High School is a comprehensive four-year public secondary school located in Peachtree City, Georgia, United States, in Metro Atlanta. As of 2016, it has an enrollment of 1,684 students in grades nine through twelve. The school, governed by the Fayette County School System, was named a Georgia School of Excellence in 2001. In 2007, it was named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.

Founded in 1996, Northgate is the newest of the three Coweta County School System high schools. Northgate offers four diploma choices: College Prep with Distinction, College Prep, Career/Technical with Distinction, and Career/Technical. Students may also choose a dual diploma program with both college prep and career/tech seals. Feeder schools include Lee Middle School, Madras Middle School and Arnall Middle School. Madras also feeds into the nearby Newnan High School.

Originally known as Pinewood Atlanta Studios, the studio has been used to produce many films and television programs, particularly those produced by Marvel Studios. Trilith Studios encompasses a 700-acre site, with a 400-acre backlot and 32 soundstages. A virtual production volume, Prysm Stage, opened in early 2022. As of 2021, Trilith Studios is the largest production facility in the state of Georgia.
