Huis ten Bosch (Dutch: Paleis Huis ten Bosch, pronounced [paːˈlɛis ˌɦœys tɛm ˈbɔs]; English: "House in the Woods") is a royal palace in The Hague, Netherlands. It is one of three official residences of the Dutch monarch; the two others being the Noordeinde Palace in The Hague and the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. Huis ten Bosch was the home of Queen Beatrix from 1981 to her abdication in 2014; King Willem-Alexander and his family moved in on 13 January 2019. A replica of the palace was built in Sasebo, Japan, in a theme park bearing the same name.

The bombing of the Bezuidenhout (Dutch: bombardement op het Bezuidenhout) took place on 3 March 1945, when the Royal Air Force mistakenly bombed the Bezuidenhout neighbourhood in the Dutch city of The Hague. At the time, the neighbourhood was more densely populated than usual with evacuees from The Hague and Wassenaar; tens of thousands were left homeless and had to be quartered in the Eastern and Central Netherlands. The British bomber crews had intended to bomb the Haagse Bos ("Forest of the Hague") district where the Germans had installed V-2 launching facilities that had been used to attack English cities. However, the pilots were issued with the wrong coordinates so the navigational instruments of the bombers had been set incorrectly, and combined with fog and clouds which obscured their vision, the bombs were instead dropped on the Bezuidenhout residential neighbourhood.

Den Haag Laan van NOI railway station is a railway station in the Netherlands, on the border between The Hague and the town of Voorburg. It is served by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch railway) and by the RandstadRail light-rail network. The station is named after the road on which it is located, Laan van Nieuw Oost-Indië, which literally translates as New East Indies Avenue, but probably refers to a former inn called Nieuw Oosteinde (New East End).

The Embassy of the United States in The Hague (Dutch: Ambassade van de Verenigde Staten van Amerika in Den Haag) is the diplomatic mission of the United States in the Netherlands. It is located at John Adams Park 1 in Wassenaar, on the municipal border with The Hague. The current American embassy building in Wassenaar opened on January 29, 2018. It replaced the former embassy building at the Lange Voorhout 102 in The Hague, which was opened on July 4, 1959; it housed the U.S. diplomatic mission to the Netherlands for nearly 60 years. This building in The Hague's city center was designed by architect Marcel Breuer and was designated a national monument in 2017.Notable Americans such as former Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams, General Hugh Ewing and Iraq Envoy L. Paul Bremer have held the title of United States Ambassador to the Netherlands.

Haagse Bos (Dutch pronunciation: [ɦaːxsə ˈbɔs], literally Forest of The Hague) is a rectangular neighbourhood and forest in the Haagse Hout district of The Hague, Netherlands, reaching from the old city centre in the south-west to the border of Wassenaar in the north-east. It is also one of the oldest remaining forests of the country. During World War II, the park was used by the Germans for launching V-1 and V-2 rockets.

Haagse Hout (Dutch pronunciation: [ɦaːxsə ˈɦʌut], literally Woods of The Hague) is one of the eight districts of The Hague. This area was originally called Die Haghe Houte, which later became the current Haagse Hout. The district has 45,600 residents as of 2018. It is located in the north-east of the city, bordering Wassenaar to the north and Leidschendam-Voorburg to the east. Haagse Hout is divided into four neighbourhoods: Benoordenhout Bezuidenhout Mariahoeve en Marlot Haagse BosBezuidenhout is usually divided further into Bezuidenhout East and Bezuidenhout West. Mariahoeve and Marlot are also sometimes separately named. Villapark Marlot has the highest income of The Hague, and is one of the greener areas. The Haagse Bos is the largest green area, almost completely covered by parks and fields. This city park divides Haagse Hout into two: Benoordenhout and Bezuidenhout (literally North of the Woods and South of the Woods).

The Beatrixkwartier (literally Beatrix Quarter in Dutch) is a modern financial district in The Hague, near the Central Station, in the Bezuidenhout district. The name was thought up when they were renewing the Beatrixlaan. Officially this area is the strip of buildings along the Utrechtsebaan from Nationale Nederlanden to the Palace of Justice. Besides Nationale Nederlanden, many large international companies such as KPN, Siemens, PostNL, Sdu, Deloitte, Q8 and MN Services are located here. The Beatrixkwartier also hosts the World Trade Center The Hague in the Prinsenhof building. The central axis of the quarter is the Prinses Beatrixlaan along with the Beatrixkwartier RandstadRail station halfway past the Netkous viaduct, which opened on October 29, 2006. Furthermore, the neighborhood is intersected by the A12 motorway.

The Netkous or Fishnets is the popular name for the tram bridge in The Hague district Bezuidenhout built between 2004 and 2006. The viaduct is along the Prinses Beatrixlaan. An important part of light rail is the coupling of the Hague tram to the Zoetermeer City Line (formerly part of the NS). To make this possible, it was decided to build a branch of the Hague tram elevated between Ternoot to the railway station Laan van NOI, where it connects to the existing line. In the business area Beatrixkwartier to improve access, a station was built halfway along the viaduct. Before construction could begin the first station Ternoot was moved a few hundred meters, otherwise, there would be no room for the curve CS Beatrixlaan. Both the viaduct and the integrated station were designed by Zwarts & Jansma Architects. The overpass is built up of an open tubular structure, which is reminiscent of a fishnet stocking. Due to this strong construction are relatively large spans possible and the number of columns can remain limited. The viaduct segments are assembled on site, prefabricated steel rings and tubes. To do this, a temporary assembly was built on the route. In a special conserving hall (composed of shipping containers) the viaduct parts were provided with a protective coating. The viaduct is ridden by light rail 3 and 4. A similar fishnet structure applied in 2014 at the Railway bridge over the Dieze and The Royal Welsh Bridge in 's-Hertogenbosch, and is applied to the complete 2016 terminal of the Rotterdam metro line E between Slinge and The Hague Central.

The Louwman Museum is a museum for historic cars, coaches, and motorcycles in The Hague, Netherlands. It is situated on the Leidsestraatweg near the A44 highway. The museum's former names are "Nationaal Automobiel Museum" and "Louwman Collection".

The Haagse Poort (English: Gate of The Hague) is an office building in The Hague, Netherlands. It is an unusual, asymmetrical structure of 275 meters (or 900 feet) long that spans the Utrechtsebaan with a large arch. The Haagse Poort consists of a high-rise part and a low-rise part that are connected by the arch from the eighth floor. The tallest part amounts 70 meters (or 230 feet) and 17 floors. The building offers approximately 108,000 m² (or 1,160,000 sq ft) of office space.

Haagsche Zwaan is an office building on Schenkkade 50 in The Hague. The building is 73.5 meters high and was designed at Studio VollaersZwart by architects ZZDP developed by OVG. The design looks like a swan, that is where the name Haagsche Zwaan comes from. The building is cantilevered 12 meters over the Utrechtsebaan, the gateway to The Hague. Haagsche Zwaan has 20 floors and it is used for office space. Deloitte and Q8 are headquartered in Haagsche Zwaan. The building has an area of 18.000 m². The owner of the Haagsche Zwaan is Union Investment Real Estate GmbH and the administrator is Savills.
