I-485/South Boulevard is a light rail station in Charlotte, North Carolina. The elevated island platform is the southern terminus stop along the Lynx Blue Line and includes the second largest park and ride operated by Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS). Serving both Carolina Pavilion and Sterling neighborhood in the immediate area, it also serves commuters from Pineville, Ballantyne, and the South Carolina border towns.

WBT (1110 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station serving the Charlotte metropolitan area, including parts of North Carolina and South Carolina. The station airs a news/talk radio format simulcast on Chester, South Carolina-licensed WBT-FM (99.3) and the HD2 digital subchannel of co-owned WLNK. First licensed on March 18, 1922, it is one of America's first radio stations. WBT is owned by Urban One, with studios and offices located off West Morehead Street, just west of Uptown Charlotte, co-located with the city's CBS television affiliate, WBTV, currently owned by Gray Television but at one time co-owned with WBT Radio. WBT broadcasts 50,000 watts around the clock as the only Class A clear-channel station in the Carolinas. Its transmitter site is a three-tower facility in south Charlotte, off Nations Ford Road. During daylight hours it uses a single non-directional antenna and is audible in much of the central Carolinas. At night, all three towers are used in a directional pattern that limits its signal toward the west, to avoid interfering with KFAB in Omaha, Nebraska, the other Class A station on the frequency. Even with this restriction, it can be heard across much of the eastern half of North America with a good radio. For many years, WBT boasted that it could be heard "from Maine to Miami" at night.

The at-grade island platform is a stop along the Lynx Blue Line and serves Montclaire South and Starmount neighborhoods, as well as Central Piedmont Community College's Harper Campus. It also features a 289-space park and ride that includes local bus connections and intercity bus service via Megabus.

Huntingtowne Farms Park is a 23-acre urban park at 2200 Huntingtowne Farms Lane lying between the Huntingtowne Farms and Starmount Forest neighborhoods of Charlotte, North Carolina. A bridge across Sugar Creek connects the park to the Starmount Forest neighborhood.A section of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway runs through the park and serves to connect its features which include a picnic shelter, a playground, a basketball court, a multi-purpose sports field, and 2 tennis courts. A top priority of the Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation trail development plan is to connect this currently independent section to the rest of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.

Ramblewood Soccer Complex is a volunteer maintained sports complex consisting of eleven soccer fields, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The complex features a 4,300-seat soccer-specific stadium, which had been home to the Charlotte Independence soccer club since 2015. The stadium was built beginning in 2014, although the complex as a whole dates back to 1993.

Atrium Health Pineville (Formerly Mercy Hospital South, later Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville) is a 235 bed acute care facility located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The hospital was opened in 1987 by the Sisters of Mercy to serve the rapidly growing southern part of Mecklenburg County. in 1995, the Sisters of Mercy sold the hospital to Carolinas HealthCare System, now Atrium Health. Pineville Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Pineville, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 15 contributing buildings in the central business district of Pineville. It was developed between about 1873 and 1960 and consists of contiguous rows of one-story and two-story, brick commercial buildings. Notable buildings include Younts General Store (c. 1873), Pineville Loan and Savings Bank (c. 1910), Yandell Hotel and Grocery Building (1925), and McCoy Barbershop/Pineville Post Office (1955).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
