Charlotte Speedway was a wooden board track in Pineville, North Carolina, near Charlotte. It operated from 1924 to 1927, hosting AAA national championship trail races.

The district encompasses 15 contributing buildings in the central business district of Pineville. It was developed between about 1873 and 1960 and consists of contiguous rows of one-story and two-story, brick commercial buildings. Notable buildings include Younts General Store (c. 1873), Pineville Loan and Savings Bank (c. 1910), Yandell Hotel and Grocery Building (1925), and McCoy Barbershop/Pineville Post Office (1955).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Polk Historic Site is a museum and historic location in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and a historic site managed by the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources' Historic Sites division. The property was the location of property owned by the parents of President James K. Polk, and exhibits at the historic site serve to tell the story of the President's political career, as well as provide a look into life in North Carolina in the early 19th century.

Pineville Mill Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Pineville, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 77 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in a residential section of Pineville. It was developed after 1894 and in the 1920s and consists of frame, textile mill houses. The mill village was originally developed by the Dover Yarn Mills and later expanded by the Chadwick-Hoskins Company.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Ramblewood Soccer Complex is a volunteer maintained sports complex consisting of eleven soccer fields, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The complex features a 4,300-seat soccer-specific stadium, which had been home to the Charlotte Independence soccer club since 2015. Huntingtowne Farms Park is a 23-acre urban park at 2200 Huntingtowne Farms Lane lying between the Huntingtowne Farms and Starmount Forest neighborhoods of Charlotte, North Carolina. A bridge across Sugar Creek connects the park to the Starmount Forest neighborhood.A section of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway runs through the park and serves to connect its features which include a picnic shelter, a playground, a basketball court, a multi-purpose sports field, and 2 tennis courts. A top priority of the Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation trail development plan is to connect this currently independent section to the rest of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.
