St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary School is a private Catholic primary and secondary school located in Raj Niwas Marg in the Civil Lines area of North Delhi, in India. Founded by the Jesuits in 1960 as a residential school for boys only, the school has become a Christian minority neighbourhood co-educational school catering for students from preparatory to Grade 12. The Tis Hazari metro station is a metro station located on the Red Line of Delhi Metro. It is situated in the Tis Hazari area of Central Delhi. The station is situated just across the road from the Tis Hazari Courts Complex, which is the principal district court of Delhi. It is connected to gate number 2 of the complex by a footbridge. The footbridge has a ramp available for the disabled or physically challenged people.

The Kashmere Gate is a Delhi Metro station in Delhi, on the Red Line, Yellow Line and Violet Line. It is a transfer station between the Red Line on the highest upper level, the Yellow Line on the lowest underground level and Violet Line on the parallel underground level. It is the busiest metro station in India. It was named on 25 December 2002. During peak hours, it serves as an alternate Northern Terminus for the yellow line along with Vishwa Vidyalaya. The Kashmere Gate Metro station services the historic Kashmiri Gate area of Delhi, and is currently the largest metro station within the Delhi metro with area of about 118,400 square feet (11,000 m2) and the only 3 line interchange metro station in India. The giant station has over 6 floors. It has facilities like restaurants, fast food centres, McDonald's, Burger King, water vending machines, 3 toilet complexes, over 35 escalators, Ticket vending machines etc.

The Civil Lines is a residential area and one of the 3 subdivisions of the Central Delhi district of Delhi in India. It is one of the 12 zones under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. It was the hub of European-style hotels in the city until New Delhi came into being in 1911. The official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is also located at Raj Niwas Marg, Civil Lines.

Tis Hazari is a neighbourhood in Old Delhi, India just south of the Northern Ridge. It is the location of the Tis Hazari Courts Complex which was inaugurated on 19 March 1958 by Chief Justice Mr. A. N. Bhandari of the then Punjab High Court. It is one of the six District Courts that function under the Delhi High Court, and continues to be the principal Court building in state of Delhi.

Gwalior House is the former residence of the Maharaja of Gwalior in Delhi. Located at Rajpur Road in Civil Lines, Delhi, Gwalior House was one of the six princely houses in Civil Lines including Jamnagar, Kolhapur, Nabha, Sirohi and Udaipur. Maharaja Jivajirao Scindia of Gwalior stayed at 37 Rajpur Road, along with his mother. The house was later involved in an inheritance feud within the princely family. It is of modest size and can therefore not be considered a palace. Old Delhi had only three: Dujana House, Loharu House and (old) Pataudi House. The princely palaces were influenced by French, Italian, Indo-Venetian Gothic, Saracenic, Rajput and Islamic styles of architecture. Since Gwalior was a 21-gun salute princely state, a large plot was set aside next to the Kingsway, today Rajpath, for a palace to be constructed next to the Baroda House and Patiala House (at 28.6166°N 77.2326°E / 28.6166; 77.2326). However the princely family refused to be aligned in this city planning scheme by the British. The plot stood empty and was temporary used as the Prince's Park Mess.
