Kashmere Gate or Kashmiri Gate is a gate located in Old Delhi in UT of Delhi, India. it is the northern gate to the historic walled city of Old Delhi. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the gate is so named because it was at the start of a road that led to Kashmir. Now it is also the name of the surrounding locality in North Delhi, in the Old Delhi area, and an important road junction as the Red Fort, ISBT and Delhi Junction railway station lie in its vicinity.

Lal Masjid (lit. "Red Mosque") of Delhi, also known as the Fakr-ul Masjid (lit. "Pride of Mosques") or Sikandar Sahib's Masjid, is a mosque located in Bara Bazaar, Kashmiri Gate in Old Delhi, India.

St. James' Church (also known as Skinner's Church), built in 1836 by Colonel James Skinner, is one of the oldest churches in the city, and part of the Church of North India Diocese of Delhi. It is situated near Kashmiri Gate, at the intersection of Church Road and Lothian Road. It was the church the Viceroy of India, attended until the Cathedral Church of the Redemption, near Gurudwara Rakab Ganj, was built in 1931. The only other church of that era, the St. Stephen's Church, at Fatehpuri, Delhi was built in 1867. Behind the church is the bungalow of British Commissioners of Delhi, William Fraser, who is also buried in the church graveyard.

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), is an all women's university located in New Delhi, India on the heritage campus at Kashmere Gate, Delhi. It was founded as the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology in 1998. In May 2013 it gained autonomy and became the first women's technical university in India established by Govt. of Delhi. The university offers BBA and BTech, MTech, and PhD programs in four branches of engineering i.e. in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical and Automation Engineering and Information Technology. The university also offers 5 years program in Bachelors of Architecture (B.Arch.) and a 2-year post graduate program in M. Plan (Urban Planning).

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi, formerly Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi and Ambedkar University Delhi, and simply AUD, is a state university established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi through an Act of the Delhi Legislature. The university began functioning in August 2008. It is a Unitary non-affiliating University whose main focus is on undergraduate and postgraduate studies and on research in the Humanities and the Social Sciences. It is completely funded by the State Government of the NCT of Delhi. The university is now declared eligible to receive Central Government Assistance. The university has been graded 'B plus' by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is named after the polymath B. R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and one of the founding fathers of India.

Old Delhi railway station (station code: DLI), is the oldest railway station of Delhi Union Territory and a junction station. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India in terms of frequency. Around 250 trains start, end, or pass through the station daily. It was established near Chandni Chowk in 1864 when trains from Howrah, Calcutta started operating up to Delhi. Its present building was constructed by the British Indian government in the style of the nearby Red Fort and opened in 1903. It has been an important railway station of the country and preceded the New Delhi by about 60 years. Chandni Chowk station of the Delhi Metro is located near it.

The Partition Museum is a public museum located in the Dara Shukoh Library Building on Lothian Road, Old Delhi, India. Much like its counterpart in Amritsar, this museum aims to bring forward the people's history preceding and succeeding the Partition of India in 1947. The museum was inaugurated on 18 May 2023 by the Delhi Education Minister Atishi, who hails from a family of Partition survivors as well. This is India's second museum dedicated to preserving the stories of individuals or families that witnessed the partition of India.

Vidyajyoti College of Theology (literally, ‘Light of Knowledge’) is a private theological college run by the Jesuits located in Delhi, India. It was started in 1879 in Asansol, West Bengal, as a modest 'Saint Joseph’s Seminary'. From 1889 to 1971 it developed in the mountains of Kurseong, near Darjeeling, where it was renamed Saint Mary’s College. From 1972 onwards it has flourished in the neighbourhood of the University of Delhi. Vidyajyoti confers the Degrees of Bachelor of Theology (Th.B.), Master of Theology (Th.M.), and Doctor of Theology (Th.D.). It also admits students for certificate courses for one or two years and diploma courses for three years. Vidyajyoti is known for its efforts to develop a contextual method of doing theology. As integral part of its curriculum, each student is assigned to a concrete social context and initiated into socio-cultural analysis of the Indian situation. This enables the student to get a more competent and comprehensive grasp of the issues that affect the lives of ordinary Indians. Theological reflection is thus closely related to questions emerging from the context, thereby equipping each student to understand the Christian faith from within the Indian context and in dialogue with India’s many religions.
