Vidyajyoti College of Theology (literally, ‘Light of Knowledge’) is a private theological college run by the Jesuits located in Delhi, India. It was started in 1879 in Asansol, West Bengal, as a modest 'Saint Joseph’s Seminary'. From 1889 to 1971 it developed in the mountains of Kurseong, near Darjeeling, where it was renamed Saint Mary’s College. From 1972 onwards it has flourished in the neighbourhood of the University of Delhi. Vidyajyoti confers the Degrees of Bachelor of Theology (Th.B.), Master of Theology (Th.M.), and Doctor of Theology (Th.D.). It also admits students for certificate courses for one or two years and diploma courses for three years. Vidyajyoti is known for its efforts to develop a contextual method of doing theology. As integral part of its curriculum, each student is assigned to a concrete social context and initiated into socio-cultural analysis of the Indian situation. This enables the student to get a more competent and comprehensive grasp of the issues that affect the lives of ordinary Indians. Theological reflection is thus closely related to questions emerging from the context, thereby equipping each student to understand the Christian faith from within the Indian context and in dialogue with India’s many religions.

St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary School is a private Catholic primary and secondary school located in Raj Niwas Marg in the Civil Lines area of North Delhi, in India. Founded by the Jesuits in 1960 as a residential school for boys only, the school has become a Christian minority neighbourhood co-educational school catering for students from preparatory to Grade 12. Raj Niwas (translation: Government House) is the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, the head of state of Delhi and government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The Kashmere Gate is a Delhi Metro station in Delhi, on the Red Line, Yellow Line and Violet Line. It is a transfer station between the Red Line on the highest upper level, the Yellow Line on the lowest underground level and Violet Line on the parallel underground level. It is the busiest metro station in India. It was named on 25 December 2002. During peak hours, it serves as an alternate Northern Terminus for the yellow line along with Vishwa Vidyalaya. The Kashmere Gate Metro station services the historic Kashmiri Gate area of Delhi, and is currently the largest metro station within the Delhi metro with area of about 118,400 square feet (11,000 m2) and the only 3 line interchange metro station in India. The giant station has over 6 floors. It has facilities like restaurants, fast food centres, McDonald's, Burger King, water vending machines, 3 toilet complexes, over 35 escalators, Ticket vending machines etc.

The Tis Hazari metro station is a metro station located on the Red Line of Delhi Metro. It is situated in the Tis Hazari area of Central Delhi. The station is situated just across the road from the Tis Hazari Courts Complex, which is the principal district court of Delhi. It is connected to gate number 2 of the complex by a footbridge. The footbridge has a ramp available for the disabled or physically challenged people.

Kashmere Gate or Kashmiri Gate is a gate located in Old Delhi in UT of Delhi, India. it is the northern gate to the historic walled city of Old Delhi. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the gate is so named because it was at the start of a road that led to Kashmir. Now it is also the name of the surrounding locality in North Delhi, in the Old Delhi area, and an important road junction as the Red Fort, ISBT and Delhi Junction railway station lie in its vicinity.

The Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) is an Indian research institute for the social sciences and humanities. It was founded in 1963 by Rajni Kothari and is largely funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research Govt of India. It is located in New Delhi, close to Delhi University.

The Civil Lines is a residential area and one of the 3 subdivisions of the Central Delhi district of Delhi in India. It is one of the 12 zones under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. It was the hub of European-style hotels in the city until New Delhi came into being in 1911. The official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is also located at Raj Niwas Marg, Civil Lines.

Tis Hazari is a neighbourhood in Old Delhi, India just south of the Northern Ridge. It is the location of the Tis Hazari Courts Complex which was inaugurated on 19 March 1958 by Chief Justice Mr. A. N. Bhandari of the then Punjab High Court. It is one of the six District Courts that function under the Delhi High Court, and continues to be the principal Court building in state of Delhi.
