Palm Islands

The Palm Jumeirah is an archipelago of artificial islands on the Persian Gulf in Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is part of a larger series of developments called the Palm Islands, including Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira, which, if completed, will together increase Dubai's shoreline by a total of 520 kilometres (320 mi). It has an estimated population of at least 10,000 as of 2017.The islands were created using land reclamation. The construction was done as a joint venture by two Dutch specialist companies, Van Oord and Boskalis. The same companies also created The World. The recently opened destinations The Pointe, Club Vista Mare and Nakheel Mall are the latest additions to Palm Jumeirah.

Nakheel Mall (Arabic: نخيل مول) is a shopping mall on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Construction of the mall started in 2014 and it opened in 2019 at a cost of AED1.2 billion. The mall is accessible via the Palm Jumeirah Monorail, with its own station. There is a three-level multi-storey car park. The mall has five levels of shops, restaurants, and other attractions, including a Depachika Food Hall, Fabyland, Fitness First, an H&M store, Trampo Extreme, a 15-screen VOX Cinemas complex, and a Waitrose supermarket. The View at The Palm provides a high-level view of the Palm Jumeriah from a height of 230 meters on top of the adjacent Palm Tower, opened in 2020.

The Palm Fountain (Chinese: 棕櫚噴泉) is an artificial fountain located at The Pointe shopping and dining district on Palm Jumeirah of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Officially inaugurated on 22 October 2020, the Fountain was designed and built by Beijing Water Design Technology Co., Ltd., which is a China-based service provider of musical water fountains. The Palm Fountain is the world's largest seawater musical fountain and has obtained the Guinness certificate of the world's largest musical fountain. It is equipped with shooters capable of spraying water up to 105 metres in the air and features over 3,000 LED lights.In 2020 the owner commissioned Ihab Darwish, Emirati composer to compose an official song “Aim For The Sky” as a sonic brand and its signature music. The composition pays homage to the UAE's culture as well as capture Dubai's cosmopolitanism and is performed regularly at The Pointe, Dubai, from December 1, 2020."Aim For The Sky" mixes between cinematic and symphonic sounds reflecting the identity of the iconic The Palm Fountain. Along with delicate notes, the melody resembles ambition, strength, resilience, and the nostalgic side of the city. The piece is a tribute to the UAE's diverse people and culture, a musical dialogue infused with classical, khaleeji, oriental, and electronic styles to showcase the unity of all cultures under one sky.Due to unfavorable weather conditions the fountain show is often canceled. The Palm Fountain officially closed on May 15, 2023.

The Palm Trump International Hotel & Tower was a proposed skyscraper hotel and residential complex at the trunk of the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. It was a joint venture between the Trump Organization and Dubai-based Nakheel, a government-owned company, and was announced on October 5, 2005. This building and other prestigious building projects throughout Dubai in late 2008 were never built, largely as a result of the global credit crunch.The project was officially cancelled by Nakheel in February 2011, and Nakheel opened Al Ittihad Park on the site in November 2012.

Atlantis The Palm, Dubai is a luxury hotel resort located at the apex of the Palm Jumeirah in the United Arab Emirates. It was the first resort to be built on the island and is themed on the myth of Atlantis but includes distinct Arabian elements. The resort opened on September 24, 2008 as a joint venture between Kerzner International Holdings Limited and Istithmar World.

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a resort located on the west crescent of The Palm in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It consists of the main hotel and residences, with a total of 405 rooms and numerous suites.

Atlantis The Royal, Dubai is a hotel resort at the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

The Logo Islands are the two identical artificial islands built in the shape a palm leaf. The islands were built of 4.9 million cubic feet of sand. The design is the logo of the LOGO Palm Developers. Emaar Development has taken possession of one of the islands (the Logo island situated to the west of The Palm Jumeirah) for the construction of its Beach Vista residences project on what will be called Emaar Beachfront Island. Located in its Emaar Beachfront island development, Beach Vista is a twin-tower development of 33-storeys and 26-storeys with one-to-four-bedroom apartments.

Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah is a five-star luxury hotel in Dubai, part of Hilton Worldwide. The hotel was opened on 12 March and the master suite and penthouse cost just over 12,000$ per inch was in December 2013). It is the second hotel of the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in the United Arab Emirates. In 2018, Corah Caples was appointed as Director of Operations.

The Hydropolis Underwater Hotel and Resort is a proposed underwater hotel in Dubai. It would be the first multi-room underwater hotel in the world. The original plan was to locate it 20 meters (66 ft) underwater off the coast of Jumeirah Beach, although this site was later found to be unsuitable. The hotel's plan is to cover an area of 260 hectares (640 acres).Originally announced in 2005, the plans had been put on hold by 2014.

Ocean Heights is a supertall residential skyscraper in Dubai Marina, Dubai, UAE. The tower stands 310 m (1,017 ft) tall with 83 floors. The tower is designed by Andrew Bromberg of Aedas. The building was topped out on 22 December 2009, and completed in 2010. As of 2022, Ocean Heights is the seventh-tallest residential building in Dubai and 20th-tallest residential building in the world.The tower, with its unique curves and twisting motion as it ascends, is actually the third version of the tower proposed by DAMAC Properties Co. The first version had the tower at a much shorter 38 floors, the second had 50. The 83-floor tower houses more than 519 condominiums and is located along Al Sufouh Road in Dubai Marina.

Elite Residence is a supertall skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in the Dubai Marina district, overlooking one of the man-made palm islands, Palm Jumeirah. The building is 380.5 metres (1,248 ft) tall and has 87 floors. Of the 91 floors, 76 are for 695 apartments and the other 15 include amenities such as car-parking, swimming pools, spas, reception areas, health clubs, a business centre and a gymnasium.The skyscraper has 695 apartments and 12 elevators.The tower was the third-tallest residential building in the world when completed on 21 January 2012. As of 2022, it is the eighth-tallest residential building in the world.
