Upright Channel Park is a former unit of the Washington State Park System consisting of 20 acres (8.1 ha) of island, beach, and tidelands on Upright Channel in the northwest corner of Lopez Island. The park was not listed as a Washington State Parks property as of March 2014. San Juan County assumed management of the property per a memorandum of understanding in May 2014.

The Port Stanley School is located on Lopez Island, in the San Juan Islands (San Juan County), Washington, in the United States. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building was restored in 2003 and currently serves as an exhibit of the Lopez Island Historical Society and community space.

Canoe Island is a 47-acre (19-hectare) island located in the center of the San Juan Islands, an archipelago in the U.S. state of Washington. The island is situated in Upright Channel between Shaw and Lopez Islands. Canoe Island's surface is mostly forested with second-growth cedar, fir, hemlock, and madrona, with some old-growth trees, too. Its maximum elevation is 127.7 feet (38.9 metres). The rocky shoreline is bordered by dense forests of bull kelp.While Canoe Island is only accessible by boat, several Washington State Ferry routes pass between the southern tip of the island and Flat Point on Lopez Island, docking at Friday Harbor, and Lopez Ferry Landing. Canoe Island is privately owned by Canoe Island French Camp, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that runs an overnight summer camp for children.

Spencer Spit State Park is a public recreation area ran under the Washington State Parks. It covers one hundred and thirty-eight acres (56 ha) (a total of 7,840 feet of shoreline) on the eastern shore of Lopez Island in San Juan County, Washington. It overlooks the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The state park features two sand spits that enclose a salt chuck lagoon that provides a migratory stop for waterfowl, including Bonaparte's gulls. Other local fauna include great blue herons and kingfishers.

Flower Island is one of the San Juan Islands in San Juan County, Washington, USA. The uninhabited, rocky island has a land area of 4.6 acres (1.9 hectares) and is almost completely devoid of vegetation. Located off the coast from Spencer Spit State Park, it is a popular nesting location for gulls. Flower Island was occupied for two summers in the 1930s by Floyd and Ruth Schmoe and their children while Floyd Schmoe was studying at the Friday Harbor Laboratories. Because the island was not, at the time, listed on tax rolls, the Schmoes were able to claim squatters' rights.Currently, Flower Island is part of the San Juan Islands National Wildlife Refuge and is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. As with almost all of the islands in the refuge, human access is prohibited and boats may not approach to within 200 yards (180 m).

Reef Net Bay is a bay in the U.S. state of Washington.The creek was formerly called Squaw Bay. The original name had caused a degree of controversy over its "racist" name, cf. squaw. The present name is after reef nets used by local fishermen.

Blind Bay is a small bay on Shaw Island in San Juan County, Washington. On an island near its mouth is Blind Island State Park.

Elwha Rock is a submerged rock in Puget Sound. It lies in Cayou Channel (formerly known as Harney Channel) just west of Orcas Island's Grindstone Harbor at a depth of 5 feet (1.5 m) mean low water.It was named for the ferry MV Elwha which ran aground on the then-uncharted rock in 1983. The ferry Nisqually ran aground on the same rock in 1994.The Washington Board on Geographic Names approved the name in December 1989.The rock was incorporated within San Juan Islands National Monument in 2013.

Frost Island is an island in the San Juan Islands of the U.S. state of Washington. The approximately 70-acre (28 ha) island has no public electric service or land-line telephone service. There is a water-taxi that runs between the island and Anacortes.The name was given by Charles Wilkes during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838–1842, in honor of John Frost, the boatswain of the expedition's Porpoise.

Blind Island Marine State Park is a public recreation area consisting of the entirety of Blind Island, a three-acre (1.2 ha) island at the entrance to Blind Bay on Shaw Island in San Juan County, Washington. It is part of the San Juan Islands National Monument. The island lies one-third of a mile west of the Shaw Island ferry terminal and has 1,280 feet (390 m) of saltwater shoreline. The park is cooperatively managed by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management and Washington State Parks.

Lopez Island is the third largest of the San Juan Islands and an unincorporated town in San Juan County, Washington, United States. Lopez Island is 29.81 square miles (77.2 km2) in land area. The 2020 census population was 3,156, though the population swells in the summer, as second homes, rental houses, and campsites fill up.

Cotton Point Island is a 0.25-acre (0.10 ha) island in Washington State, a few meters offshore of Cotton Point on Orcas Island. It is part of the San Juan Islands National Monument and owned by Bureau of Land Management, perhaps its smallest holding in Washington.
