KLOI-LP (102.9 FM) is a low-power FM radio station broadcasting a variety format. Licensed to Lopez Island, Washington, United States, the station serves the San Juan Islands area. The station is currently owned by The Gathering of Island Voices And Expressions.

It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building was restored in 2003 and currently serves as an exhibit of the Lopez Island Historical Society and community space.

Iceberg Island is an island in the San Juan Islands of the U.S. state of Washington. The name comes from the nearby Iceberg Point on Lopez Island. Iceberg Point was named by the U.S. Coast Survey of 1854 because of "remarkable deep and smooth marks of glacial action".

Located in Lopez Sound, the uninhabited, rocky island has a land area of 3.21 acres (1.30 hectares) and is almost completely devoid of vegetation. It is part of the Turtleback complex, a series of intrusive rocks in Lopez Sound formed out of crystallized molten magma that also includes Bird Rock, Low Island, and others.Fortress Island is part of the San Juan Islands National Wildlife Refuge and is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. As with almost all of the islands in the refuge, human access is prohibited and boats may not approach to within 200 yards (180 m).

Deadman Island is one of the San Juan Islands in San Juan County, Washington, United States. The uninhabited, rocky island has a land area of 3.5 acres (1.4 hectares). It is part of the Geese Islets, a collection of rocky islands and reefs near the southwest shore of Lopez Island.

Center Island Airport (IATA: CWS, FAA LID: 78WA) is a private use airport located on Center Island, in San Juan County, Washington, United States. The airport is owned by the Center Island Association. It was included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.Center Island Airport is a "turf-gravel" runway approximately 1600 feet long by 100 feet wide.

Center Island is one of the San Juan Islands in San Juan County, Washington, United States. It lies off the eastern shore of Lopez Island, between it and Decatur Island. Center Island has a land area of 0.713 km² (0.275 sq mi, or 176.22 acres). The population was officially 49 persons as of the 2000 census.

Puget Sound is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) in northwest portion of Washington state encompassing Clallam, Island, Jefferson, King, Kitsap, Mason, Pierce, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, Thurston and Whatcom Counties. It is the only Washington AVA located west of the Cascade Mountains. Puget Sound (or the "Sound") is an inlet of the Pacific Ocean extending about 190 mi (306 km) south from Admiralty Inlet and Juan de Fuca Strait to Olympia. It contains 13,100 sq mi (8,384,000 acres) of land, 150 sq mi (388 km2) of fresh water, and 2,500 sq mi (6,475 km2) of saltwater. The viticultural area lies entirely within the land basin surrounding the Sound. The Puget Sound viticultural area contains approximately 55% of the watershed's land area and water or 7,150 sq mi (4,576,000 acres) of land and 1,500 sq mi (3,885 km2) of water for a total area of 8,650 sq mi (5,536,000 acres). It has a maximum length of 190 mi (306 km) from north to south and 60 mi (97 km) from east to west, although it is most often less than 45 mi (72 km) wide. The AVA was established by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), Treasury on October 4, 1995 after reviewing a petition submitted by Gerard and Jo Ann Bentryn of Bainbridge Island Vineyards & Winery in Bainbridge Island, Washington, proposing a new viticultural area within the State of Washington to be known as "Puget Sound." The region is almost entirely within hardiness zone 9a.

Spencer Spit State Park is a public recreation area ran under the Washington State Parks. It covers one hundred and thirty-eight acres (56 ha) (a total of 7,840 feet of shoreline) on the eastern shore of Lopez Island in San Juan County, Washington. It overlooks the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The state park features two sand spits that enclose a salt chuck lagoon that provides a migratory stop for waterfowl, including Bonaparte's gulls. Other local fauna include great blue herons and kingfishers.

Goose Island is one of the San Juan Islands in San Juan County, Washington, United States.

Frost Island is an island in the San Juan Islands of the U.S. state of Washington. The approximately 70-acre (28 ha) island has no public electric service or land-line telephone service. There is a water-taxi that runs between the island and Anacortes.The name was given by Charles Wilkes during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838–1842, in honor of John Frost, the boatswain of the expedition's Porpoise.
