One West Point

Gypsy Corner is the junction of the A40 road with the A4000 road (Horn Lane) in North Acton, West London. The name originates from the Irish Travellers (sometimes referred to as gypsies), who would travel along this main road in and out of London and camp near to the road here. An official caravan site is still maintained by the local council a few hundred metres north by North Acton station.It takes the form of a broad gyratory, crossed by the arterial road.

North Acton is a London Underground station in North Acton, west London in the London Borough of Ealing. The station is on the Central line between East Acton and Hanger Lane on the West Ruislip Branch and West Acton on the Ealing Broadway Branch. It is on the boundary of Travelcard Zone 2 and Zone 3.

St Gabriel's Church is the Church of England parish church for North Acton and Park Royal. It is located on Noel Road, beside North Acton Playing Fields.St Gabriel's was one of the forty new churches 'planted' in the early 1930s by Arthur Winnington-Ingram, Bishop of London, to serve London's expanding suburbs. It celebrated its eightieth anniversary in July 2011. It was designed and built by architect Ernest Charles Shearman, and houses an original painting (The Annunciation) by artist John Pelling, and two 1870 George Tinworth stone friezes entitled The Brazen Serpent and Descent from the Cross which were removed from Sandringham church and donated to St Gabriel's by The Royal Collection in 1930 following a construction appeal. Other points of interest include a high altar frontal used at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, and a stone font originally located in Westminster Abbey, and still bearing carved stone symbols of the Abbey Church.

Ealing, Acton and Shepherd's Bush was a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. The constituency was abolished at the 2010 general election when it was divided between the new seats of Ealing Central and Acton and Hammersmith, with then incumbent Andy Slaughter becoming MP for the latter seat.

North Acton Halt railway station served the North Acton area of Acton, London, England, from 1904 to 1913 on the Acton-Northolt line.

Acton Main Line is a railway station on the Great Western Main Line in Acton, west London. Located 4 miles 21 chains (6.9 km) down the line from London Paddington between Paddington and Ealing Broadway stations, the station is served and managed by TfL Rail. The station was rebuilt with step-free access as part of the Crossrail project. It is Travelcard Zone 3.

North Acton is a part of Acton in west London, and is within the London Borough of Ealing. It runs adjacent to the industrial district of Park Royal. Historically part of the Municipal Borough of Acton in the county of Middlesex, it has formed part of the London Borough of Ealing since 1965. It is primarily within the London W3 postal district, although the northern, mainly industrial part of the area is covered by NW10 and overlaps with neighbouring Park Royal, essentially as a satellite region. Park Royal, which is heavily associated with North Acton, and forms part of the same ecclesiastical parish, falls under the NW10 postcode area. Its Church of England parish church is St Gabriel's Church, North Acton.

Old Oak Lane Halt railway station was the first station on the "New North Main Line" (NNML, present-day Acton–Northolt line) of the Great Western Railway. It served the area between North Acton and Old Oak Common, and was in use between 1906 and 1947. At least one of the platform shelters was of the Pagoda pattern.

Western Avenue is part of the A40, a major road running in a north-westerly direction out of London. Western Avenue is approximately 10 miles (16 km) long from its junction with Old Oak Common Lane in East Acton. A notable landmark on Western Avenue at Perivale, near Greenford, is the Art Deco Hoover Building, now a Tesco supermarket and 66 homes.

Acton Lane Power Station was a power station in London NW10. The station, also known as Willesden power station, was located to the south of the Euston to Birmingham railway on a site bounded by Acton Lane, the Grand Union Canal and the Dudding Hill railway line. In later years the site was extended to the south side of the canal. The entire site is now occupied by Willesden Grid Supply Point buildings.

West Acton is a place in West London, England. It is part of Acton, in the London Borough of Ealing.

Old Oak Common Lane railway station is a proposed railway station in West London, UK. If constructed, it will be situated on the North London Line, between Acton Central and Willesden Junction, within the London Overground commuter rail system. Old Oak Common Lane station would be situated about 350 metres to the west of the planned Old Oak Common railway station and will offer interchange between London Overground and other rail services, including National Rail (Great Western Railway), Crossrail (the Elizabeth Line) and High Speed 2. It is one of two proposed new stations which will connect with Old Oak Common, the other being Hythe Road on the West London line.
