Niederrad

The Max Planck Institute for Brain Research is located in Frankfurt, Germany. It was founded as Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Brain Research in Berlin 1914, moved to Frankfurt-Niederrad in 1962 and more recently in a new building in Frankfurt-Riedberg. It is one of 83 institutes in the Max Planck Society (Max Planck Gesellschaft).

Frankfurt-Niederrad station is a station in the district of Niederrad in the southwest of Frankfurt am Main in the German state of Hesse.

Luderbach (also: Königsbach) is a river of Hesse, Germany. It flows into the Main in Frankfurt.

Gallus (known as the Gallusviertel until 2007) is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk Innenstadt I and the location of the Frankfurt train station. The name Gallus originates from the German word "Galgen" (English: Gallows). Gallus extends in the west to Griesheim, while it is bordered in the north by the exhibition center and the Rebstockpark and in the south by the railway tracks. An important transport and business axis, Mainzer Landstraße, which is bordered by car dealers, gas stations and office buildings, cuts directly across the entire city section. On the grounds of the former freight depot and marshaling yard all around Den Haager Straße, a completely new residential and retail district is currently being developed-the Europaviertel. During World War II, the Alderwerke factory was a concentration camp, using slave labour from the Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp, and after the War the area was also host to the Frankfurt Auschwitz Trials during 1963–65. By 2019, offices, stores and apartments are to be built on the 90 hectare large grounds. The Mövenpick Hotel Frankfurt City has been there since 2006.

Frankfurt (Main) Galluswarte station (German: Bahnhof Frankfurt (Main) Galluswarte) is a railway station located in the Gallus district of Frankfurt, Germany.

Tenovis (formerly Deutsche Privat Telephon Gesellschaft, Telefonbau und Normalzeit, T&N, Telenorma and Bosch Telecom) was a large German telecommunications company first set up in 1899, who were acquired by Avaya in October 2004. The business has a staff force of more than 5,400 employees and maintains a presence in Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Tenovis announced its IPO in April 2004. Tenovis has its head office situated in Frankfurt/Main, its main 'Product portfolio' consists of communication solutions, among them being: Private branch exchange, call center, business recovery center (backup computer centers), customer relationship management, voice messaging, cross-linking and services for enterprises and national authorities. The Support leg of the enterprise is a well-developed telephone system of small and medium size subsidiaries.

The Waldstadion (German pronunciation: [ˈvalt.ʃtaːdi̯ɔn], English: Forest Stadium), currently known as the Deutsche Bank Park for sponsorship purposes, and formerly known as the Commerzbank-Arena, is a retractable roof sports stadium in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. The home stadium of the football club Eintracht Frankfurt, it was opened in 1925. The stadium has been upgraded several times since then; the most recent remodelling was its redevelopment as a football-only stadium in preparation for the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2006 FIFA World Cup. With a capacity of 51,500 spectators for league matches and 48,500 for American football and international matches, it is among the ten largest football stadiums in Germany. The stadium was one of the nine venues of 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, and hosted four matches including the final. The sports complex, which is owned by the city of Frankfurt, includes the actual stadium and other sports facilities, including a swimming pool, a tennis complex, a beach volleyball court and a winter sports hall. The arena has its own railway station, Frankfurt Stadion, on the national rail network.

The 1983 Rhein-Main Starfighter crash happened on 22 May 1983, in connection with an air show at the Rhein-Main Air Base. A Canadian Armed Forces Canadair CF-104 Starfighter crashed on a nearby highway, killing six.

The Gutleutviertel is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk Innenstadt I. The name Gutleut originates from the "Gutleuthof", once a refuge for lepers hosted by the "fraternity of the good people". The former working class district has spruced up considerably in recent years with the development of a new housing and business district at the former West Harbor.

The Bahnhofsviertel (German pronunciation: [ˈbaːnhoːfsˌfɪʁtl̩]; literally: train station quarter) is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk Innenstadt I. The Bahnhofsviertel was developed between 1891 and 1915. Along with the Westend, the Nordend and the Ostend, it is part of Frankfurt's dense inner city districts. The Bahnhofsviertel is known as one of Frankfurt's main entertainment and red-light districts (the latter esp. around Taunusstrasse), along with Alt-Sachsenhausen south of the river Main.

The Europaviertel (European quarter) is a housing and business quarter development in the Gallus district of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Development work began in 2005, and the development is scheduled for completion by 2019. The area will have offices, hotels, apartments, parks, shopping, and leisure facilities. After its completion, Europaviertel will approximately have a population of 30,000 workers and 10,000 residents. The Skyline Plaza complex, including a shopping mall and congress center, is within the district.

The Grand Tower (formerly Tower 2) is a high-rise in the Europaviertel quarter in Frankfurt, Germany. The tower, completed in 2020 is Germany's tallest residential building at a height of 180 m (590 ft), exceeding the 147 m (482 ft) Colonia-Haus in Cologne built in 1973. The tower is located next to the Skyline-Plaza shopping center. The developer states the total investment at around 250 million euros.The Grand Tower is considered to be the first high-rise residential building in Germany to be marketed globally; with the Asian, Arab and North American markets being the main focus.
