The Bahnhofsviertel (German pronunciation: [ˈbaːnhoːfsˌfɪʁtl̩]; literally: train station quarter) is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk Innenstadt I. The Bahnhofsviertel was developed between 1891 and 1915. Along with the Westend, the Nordend and the Ostend, it is part of Frankfurt's dense inner city districts. The Bahnhofsviertel is known as one of Frankfurt's main entertainment and red-light districts (the latter esp. around Taunusstrasse), along with Alt-Sachsenhausen south of the river Main.

Westhafen Tower is a 109.826 m (360.32 ft) 30-storey skyscraper in the Gutleutviertel district of Frankfurt, Germany. The building was designed by the architects Schneider & Schumacher and was completed in 2004. The tower, whose name literally means "West Port Tower", is one of the first buildings at the former West Port.

The Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (acronym: PRIF, German: Leibniz-Institut Hessische Stiftung Friedens- und Konfliktforschung, short HSFK) is a research institute in Frankfurt am Main focused on violent international and internal conflicts and research of conditions for and promotion of the concept of peace. With over 90 employees (as of 2019), PRIF is one of the largest peace research institutes in Germany.The think tank for peace research and international relations was founded as an independent foundation under public law by the Hesse state government in 1970. PRIF conducts knowledge-oriented basic research, analyses the causes of violent international and internal conflicts, and also carries out research on the conditions necessary for peace. One of PRIF's most essential tasks involves making the findings of the institute’s basic research on the causes of conflicts and violence useful for the practice of promoting and securing peace. PRIF provides knowledge and recommendations to public institutions and policy makers. The research institute's library is open to the public and has an extensive collection of specialised literature on peace and conflict research. The institute cooperates with higher education institutions and has especially close links to Goethe University Frankfurt and Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof (German for Frankfurt (Main) main station), often abbreviated as Frankfurt (Main) Hbf and sometimes translated as Frankfurt central station, is the busiest railway station in Hesse, Germany. The affix "Main" comes from the city's full name, Frankfurt am Main ("Frankfurt on the Main"). Because of its location near the middle of Germany and usage as a transport hub for long and short distance travelling, Deutsche Bahn refers to it as the most important station in Germany.

Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof (low level) (German: Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof Tiefbahnhof, officially Frankfurt (Main) Hbf (tief)) is a four-track S-Bahn station below Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof and as such part of the busiest railway station in Frankfurt, Germany. It is also the busiest rapid transit station in Frankfurt. The underground station forms together with Hauptwache station and Konstablerwache station the key nodes in the network of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn, a rail network that serves the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main region. It connects with the surface platforms of regional and long-distance services and also interchanges with the U-Bahn and trams.

IG Metall (German: [iːɡeː meˈtal] (listen); IGM; German: Industriegewerkschaft Metall, "Industrial Union of Metalworkers'") is the dominant metalworkers' union in Germany, making it the country's largest union as well as Europe's largest industrial union. The Frankfurt am Main tramway network is a network of tramways forming a major part of the public transport system in Frankfurt am Main, a city in the federal state of Hesse, Germany. As of 2012, there were 10 tram lines, along with two special lines and one heritage tourist tramline. The network was also heavily integrated into the Frankfurt U-Bahn, with the systems sharing both street running and reserved track. In 2012, the network had 136 stations, and a total route length of 67.25 kilometres (41.79 mi). In the same year, the network carried 49.9 million passengers, about 30% of total public transport ridership in Frankfurt.

The Grand Tower (formerly Tower 2) is a high-rise in the Europaviertel quarter in Frankfurt, Germany. The tower, completed in 2020 is Germany's tallest residential building at a height of 180 m (590 ft), exceeding the 147 m (482 ft) Colonia-Haus in Cologne built in 1973. The tower is located next to the Skyline-Plaza shopping center. The developer states the total investment at around 250 million euros.The Grand Tower is considered to be the first high-rise residential building in Germany to be marketed globally; with the Asian, Arab and North American markets being the main focus.

Luderbach (also: Königsbach) is a river of Hesse, Germany. It flows into the Main in Frankfurt.

City-Haus is a 42-storey 142 m (466 ft) skyscraper in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. It was constructed from 1971 to 1974 and designed by architects Johannes Krahn and Richard Heil. Today it is part of the headquarters of DZ Bank.

The Millennium Tower is a planned skyscraper whose construction will start in 2025. When completed in 2030, it will be the European Union's second tallest building and Germany's tallest building. It will contain Germany's tallest observation deck with a panoramic view over Frankfurt. The tower will have a height of 288 m (945 ft) and 67 stories. The architect of the tower is Ferdinand Heide and the client is CA Immo.

Inverted Collar and Tie is a sculpture designed in 1994 by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. It is located in Frankfurt's Westend in front of the Westend Tower. The DG Bank ordered the artwork in 1993. It was made in California. Inverted Collar and Tie shows a huge collar of a shirt and a necktie that are mounted top down on a pedestal. The necktie spreads its ends upwards as if it is fluttering lightly in the wind. The pedestal is painted in dark grey, the necktie is coloured in light grey with dark stripes. The artwork's measures are 11.9 x 8.5 x 3.9 metres, it weighs 7.5 metric tons. The sculpture is made from polymer concrete, steel and glass-reinforced plastic. The artwork is an ironic allusion to the business people wearing "collar and tie" who work in the DZ's office tower and in the Frankfurt banking district around.
