Frankfurt-Louisa station is a station on the Rhine-Main S-Bahn in the city of Frankfurt in the German state of Hesse. It is also on the Main-Neckar Railway between Frankfurt and Heidelberg.The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.

Westhafen Tower is a 109.826 m (360.32 ft) 30-storey skyscraper in the Gutleutviertel district of Frankfurt, Germany. The building was designed by the architects Schneider & Schumacher and was completed in 2004. The tower, whose name literally means "West Port Tower", is one of the first buildings at the former West Port.

Luderbach (also: Königsbach) is a river of Hesse, Germany. It flows into the Main in Frankfurt.

The Gutleutviertel is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk Innenstadt I. The name Gutleut originates from the "Gutleuthof", once a refuge for lepers hosted by the "fraternity of the good people". The former working class district has spruced up considerably in recent years with the development of a new housing and business district at the former West Harbor.

The Bahnhofsviertel (German pronunciation: [ˈbaːnhoːfsˌfɪʁtl̩]; literally: train station quarter) is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk Innenstadt I. The Bahnhofsviertel was developed between 1891 and 1915. Along with the Westend, the Nordend and the Ostend, it is part of Frankfurt's dense inner city districts. The Bahnhofsviertel is known as one of Frankfurt's main entertainment and red-light districts (the latter esp. around Taunusstrasse), along with Alt-Sachsenhausen south of the river Main.

The Museum Giersch is an art gallery on the Main River in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in the Museumsufer area. The museum opened in 2000. It hosts a changing series of exhibitions displaying the art and cultural history of the Rhine-Main area, with the aim of promoting the region's cultural identity. The Museum Giersch displays works on loan from public and private collections. The range of exhibits covers all areas of painting, photography, sculpture and graphic art, as well as architecture and applied art.The gallery is situated in a neoclassical villa on the Schaumainkai, built around 1910 for the Philipp Holzmann company and now one of the few surviving riverside villas in Sachsenhausen. The renovation of the villa and its conversion into an exhibition venue were carried out by the Giersch Foundation (Stiftung Giersch), which was founded in 1994 and is the museum's sole operator.

The Max Planck Institute for Brain Research is located in Frankfurt, Germany. It was founded as Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Brain Research in Berlin 1914, moved to Frankfurt-Niederrad in 1962 and more recently in a new building in Frankfurt-Riedberg. It is one of 83 institutes in the Max Planck Society (Max Planck Gesellschaft).

The Liebieghaus is a late 19th-century villa in Frankfurt, Germany. It contains a sculpture museum, the Städtische Galerie Liebieghaus, which is part of the Museumsufer on the Sachsenhausen bank of the River Main. Max Hollein (b. 1969, Vienna) has been the director of the Städel Museum since January 2006.

The Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (acronym: PRIF, German: Leibniz-Institut Hessische Stiftung Friedens- und Konfliktforschung, short HSFK) is a research institute in Frankfurt am Main focused on violent international and internal conflicts and research of conditions for and promotion of the concept of peace. With over 90 employees (as of 2019), PRIF is one of the largest peace research institutes in Germany.The think tank for peace research and international relations was founded as an independent foundation under public law by the Hesse state government in 1970. PRIF conducts knowledge-oriented basic research, analyses the causes of violent international and internal conflicts, and also carries out research on the conditions necessary for peace. One of PRIF's most essential tasks involves making the findings of the institute’s basic research on the causes of conflicts and violence useful for the practice of promoting and securing peace. PRIF provides knowledge and recommendations to public institutions and policy makers. The research institute's library is open to the public and has an extensive collection of specialised literature on peace and conflict research. The institute cooperates with higher education institutions and has especially close links to Goethe University Frankfurt and Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Nizza ([ˈnɪtsaː], from the Italian and German name for the French city of Nice) is a small area in central Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany, known for its microclimate that makes it one of the warmest places in Germany. Nizza is on the northern bank of the River Main, and the combination of its open southern-facing position, the urban heat island, the high walls of the adjacent promenade which act as a windbreak, and reflection of sunlight off the water combine to produce a Mediterranean climate. At 4.42 hectares (10.9 acres), Nizza is one of the largest gardens of Mediterranean plants north of the Alps.

The Städel, officially the Städelsches Kunstinstitut und Städtische Galerie, is an art museum in Frankfurt, with one of the most important collections in Germany. The Städel Museum owns 3,100 paintings, 660 sculptures, more than 4,600 photographs and more than 100,000 drawings and prints. It has around 4,000 m2 of display and a library of 115,000 books. The Städel was honoured as "Museum of the Year 2012" by the German art critics association AICA in 2012. In the same year the museum recorded the highest attendance figures in its history, of 447,395 visitors. In 2020 the museum had 318,732 visitors, down 45 percent from 2019, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It ranked 71st on the list of most-visited art museums in 2020.
