Harlesden is a district in the London Borough of Brent, North West London. Located north of the Grand Union Canal and Wormwood Scrubs, the Harrow Road flows through the centre of the area which goes eastwards to Central London and west towards Wembley. Harlesden was historically in the Municipal Borough of Willesden before the creation of Brent; it lies within Willesden's postal district of NW10. Harlesden has been praised for its vibrant Caribbean culture and unofficially named London's reggae capital for its contributions to the musical genre. The town centre contains a large number of multicultural independent businesses, while industry exists by the canal, most notably a McVitie's biscuit factory that has been operating since 1902. The population includes people of Afro-Caribbean heritage most notably, as well as Irish, Portuguese, Brazilian, Somali, and smaller Latin American and East African groups within the community.

Willesden Logistics Hub is a freight railway station situated adjacent to the West Coast Main Line in Willesden, England.

St Claudine's Catholic School for Girls (formerly Convent of Jesus and Mary Language College) is a girls' Catholic secondary school in Harlesden within the London Borough of Brent. It gained specialism in modern languages since 1996 and became an academy in September 2012.

Willesden Junction is a National Rail station in Harlesden, north-west London, UK. It is served by both London Overground and London Underground services.

St Matthew's Church is an Anglican parish church in Willesden in the London Borough of Brent. It is situated on the corner of St Mary's Road and Fawcett Road in Willesden. It was built between 1900 and 1906, designed by W. D. Caröe and is a Grade II listed building. It is in the deanery of Brent, in the archdeaconry of Northolt, in the Diocese of London.

West London Junction was a railway station on the London and Birmingham Railway and West London Railway. It opened on 27 May 1844 and closed on 1 September 1866. The station was relocated and reopened on 2 March 1863 and lasted 3 more years until final closure in 1866.

Willesden railway station was a station about 50 yards (46 m) north of Acton Lane level crossing in Harlesden, Middlesex, opened in 1841 by the London and Birmingham Railway (L&BR) on what became the West Coast Main Line (WCML). It had wooden platforms about 50 yards (46 m) (5 coach lengths) long beside each of the two tracks, a small wooden ticket office with an awning and a coal siding. It was about 3⁄4 mile (1.2 km) south of the original village of Willesden, in what is now the London Borough of Brent. It closed later the same year, reopened in 1844 and closed finally when the L&BR's successor, the London and North Western Railway (LNWR), opened Willesden Junction station about 1⁄2 mile (0.8 km) to the southeast on 1 September 1866. On 15 June 1912 the LNWR opened a new station, known as Harlesden, near the site.

Harlesden is a Network Rail station on Acton Lane in northwest London, served by London Overground and by London Underground Bakerloo line trains. The railway line here is the border between the Harlesden and Stonebridge residential area in the east, and the Park Royal industrial estate to the west. The southern end of Willesden Brent Sidings separates the station from the West Coast Main Line.

Acton Lane Power Station was a power station in London NW10. The station, also known as Willesden power station, was located to the south of the Euston to Birmingham railway on a site bounded by Acton Lane, the Grand Union Canal and the Dudding Hill railway line. In later years the site was extended to the south side of the canal. The entire site is now occupied by Willesden Grid Supply Point buildings.

Harlesden railway station was a station in northwest London on the south side of the southern section of a road called Craven Park, which is part of the A404 Harrow Road between Paddington and Wembley. The station was sometimes known as Harrow Road or as Stonebridge Park. It was opened by the Midland Railway on the Dudding Hill Line on 3 August 1875, partly to service the neighbouring exclusive Craven Park Estate. Originally named Harrow Road for Stonebridge Park and West Willesden, the station was renamed several times: on 1 February 1876 it became Harrow Road for Stonebridge Park and Harlesden; on 1 May 1878 Harrow Road; on 1 October 1879 Harrow Road for Stonebridge and Harlesden; on 1 November 1880 Harrow Road for Stonebridge Park and Harlesden; and on 1 July 1884 Stonebridge Park for West Willesden and Harlesden. The station was closed on 2 July 1888.It was reopened on 1 March 1893, and on 1 February 1901 it was renamed again, becoming Harlesden for West Willesden and Stonebridge Park. It was finally closed to passengers for a second time on 1 October 1902, after a sustained campaign by local people. The neighbouring goods sidings were in use for coal deliveries until the 1960s. The street level station buildings were demolished in the 1960s. The former goods office still stood in 2010, although the interior and much of the roof was destroyed in a fire in December 2009. Some platform edges remain, although most were removed when the railway embankment was pinned to stop slippage in 2001. The Dudding Hill Line remains in use for freight services today. The station stood on the later 1855 straightening of this road, which meant the railway had to be built under two roads of the same name. It should not be confused with Harlesden station, an existing Network Rail station, some three or four hundred metres south, served by Bakerloo line and London Overground trains.

Old Oak Common Lane railway station is a proposed railway station in West London, UK. If constructed, it will be situated on the North London Line, between Acton Central and Willesden Junction, within the London Overground commuter rail system. Old Oak Common Lane station would be situated about 350 metres to the west of the planned Old Oak Common railway station and will offer interchange between London Overground and other rail services, including National Rail (Great Western Railway), Crossrail (the Elizabeth Line) and High Speed 2. It is one of two proposed new stations which will connect with Old Oak Common, the other being Hythe Road on the West London line.

Church End, commonly known locally as "Church Road", is a small locality in the London Borough of Brent, located north of Harlesden, west of Willesden and south of Neasden. The population is predominantly Afro-Caribbean. The street Church Road is the main thoroughfare of the neighbourhood, which also includes a short crescent at the northern end, just off Willesden Magistrates Court. To the west, the Dudding Hill Line and Taylors Lane Power Station separates it from Brentfield Road in Stonebridge. The nearest train station at its northern end is Neasden and at its southern end is Harlesden. Bus routes 260 and 266 serve Church Road, with 297 at the northern end and 18/N18 at the southern end.
