Harlesden

Our Lady of Willesden Church is a Catholic parish church in Harlesden, Willesden, Borough of Brent, London. It was built from 1929 to 1931, and houses a shrine to Our Lady of Willesden, its statue dating to 1892. The church was built in the Romanesque Revival style and designed by Wilfrid Clarence Mangan. It is located on Acton Lane, on the junction with the Harlesden High Street across from Willesden County Court and All Souls Church. It is a Grade II listed building.

St Claudine's Catholic School for Girls (formerly Convent of Jesus and Mary Language College) is a girls' Catholic secondary school in Harlesden within the London Borough of Brent. It gained specialism in modern languages since 1996 and became an academy in September 2012.

St Matthew's Church is an Anglican parish church in Willesden in the London Borough of Brent. It is situated on the corner of St Mary's Road and Fawcett Road in Willesden. It was built between 1900 and 1906, designed by W. D. Caröe and is a Grade II listed building. It is in the deanery of Brent, in the archdeaconry of Northolt, in the Diocese of London.

West London Junction was a railway station on the London and Birmingham Railway and West London Railway. It opened on 27 May 1844 and closed on 1 September 1866. The station was relocated and reopened on 2 March 1863 and lasted 3 more years until final closure in 1866.

Willesden railway station was a station about 50 yards (46 m) north of Acton Lane level crossing in Harlesden, Middlesex, opened in 1841 by the London and Birmingham Railway (L&BR) on what became the West Coast Main Line (WCML). It had wooden platforms about 50 yards (46 m) (5 coach lengths) long beside each of the two tracks, a small wooden ticket office with an awning and a coal siding. It was about 3⁄4 mile (1.2 km) south of the original village of Willesden, in what is now the London Borough of Brent. It closed later the same year, reopened in 1844 and closed finally when the L&BR's successor, the London and North Western Railway (LNWR), opened Willesden Junction station about 1⁄2 mile (0.8 km) to the southeast on 1 September 1866. On 15 June 1912 the LNWR opened a new station, known as Harlesden, near the site.

Newman Catholic College (formerly Cardinal Hinsley Maths and Computing College ) is an all-boys Catholic school, located in the London Borough of Brent. The school has a student age range of 11–19 years old and is Voluntary Aided. Newman College (before the name change) was founded in 1959. Half of the school's students have English as a second language. The headteacher is Mr Coyle and the Chair of Governors is Mr Paul O'Shea

Willesden TMD is a railway locomotive and electric multiple unit traction maintenance depot, situated in Harlesden, north London. The depot is situated next to the West Coast Main Line, to the south-east of Willesden Junction station and on the way into London Euston station. The depot code is WN.

Acton Lane Power Station was a power station in London NW10. The station, also known as Willesden power station, was located to the south of the Euston to Birmingham railway on a site bounded by Acton Lane, the Grand Union Canal and the Dudding Hill railway line. In later years the site was extended to the south side of the canal. The entire site is now occupied by Willesden Grid Supply Point buildings.

Harlesden is a Network Rail station on Acton Lane in northwest London, served by London Overground and by London Underground Bakerloo line trains. The railway line here is the border between the Harlesden and Stonebridge residential area in the east, and the Park Royal industrial estate to the west. The southern end of Willesden Brent Sidings separates the station from the West Coast Main Line.
