Santa Fosca is a church in the sestiere of Cannaregio of Venezia, Italy. Adjacent to the Strada Nova, it faces the campo of Santa Fosca. The church is named after, and dedicated to, the child saint Fusca of Ravenna. On the campo stands the monument with a bronze statue of Paolo Sarpi, who was reported to have been stabbed here by papal mercenaries. Documents attest to a church of this name dating to the 10th century. The present building dates to reconstructions beginning in the 18th century. The facade (1733-1741), designed by Domenico Rossi, was built with the patronage of the patrician Donà family. That family once occupied the adjacent Palazzo Giovanelli. The church now belongs to the parish of San Marcuola. The interior has a Trinity and the Virgin by Filippo Bianchi; while the Life of Santa Fosca altarpieces were painted by Francesco Migliori. This church should be distinguished from the older small church of Santa Fosca, Torcello, attached to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.

San Marziale is a church building in the sestiere or neighborhood of Cannaregio in Venice. The church dates to 1133. The present church was rebuilt in 1693–1714 at the commission of Pietro Barbarigo, and reconsecrated in 1721. It contains works by Antonio Vassilacchi (L'Aliense) (Resurrection), Domenico Cresti (il Passignano), Tintoretto (one of the altar pieces Saint Martial in Glory with Saints Peter and Paul), and Giulia Lama (four paintings including two of the Evangelists St Matthew and St Mark).. The Scuola del Santissimo Sacramento commissioned the altar (1691-1704) in the chancel attributed to Tommaso Rues. He also sculpted the elaborate marble main altar, depicting Christ Ruler of World with Saints and Angels is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of the Graces. The icon is a copy of the original image supposedly sculpted in Rimini in 1286 by a shepherd named Rustico and miraculously brought to Venice. The ceiling frescoes are by Sebastiano Ricci and depict The arrival of the icon of the Madonna in Venice, Apotheosis of Saint Marziale, Rustico observing angels sculpt the statue of the Madonna, and finally God the Father in Glory. It once contained a Titian painting of Tobias and the Angel, which is now in Madonna dell'Orto

La Maddalena (Italian: Santa Maria Maddalena in Cannaregio, usually referred to simply as La Maddalena) is a church in Venice, Italy, in the sestiere of Cannaregio. A religious edifice is known in the site as early as 1222, owned by the Balbo patrician family. When, in the mid-14th century, the Venetian Senate established a public holiday for Mary Magdalene's feast, it was decided to enlarge the church, including a watchtower which was turned into a bell tower. The church was restored in the early 18th century, but in 1780 it was entirely rebuilt under design by Tommaso Temanza, with a circular plan inspired by the Pantheon in Rome. The bell tower was demolished in 1888. The most notable feature is the portal, with masonic symbols over the door (probably connected to the Balbo's membership in the Knights Templar). The interior has an hexagonal plan with four side chapels and a presbytery. Outside the apse is a 15th-century basrelief of the Madonna with Child.

Palazzetto da Lezze is a small Gothic palace located in Venice, Italy, in the Cannaregio district and overlooking the Grand Canal at the mouth of the Rio di Noale. The palazzetto is situated between the Palazzo Boldù a San Felice and the Casa Gussoni Grimani della Vida, opposite the Ca' Pesaro.

The Palazzo da Lezze or Ca' Lezze is a Baroque palace in Sestiere of Cannaregio in the city of Venice, Italy. It is located on Rio della Misericordia, with a facade on the fondamenta (canal-sidewalk), and stands between the Scuola Grande Nuova della Misericordia and Calle Largo Lezze.

San Felice is a church in Venice, northern Italy, located in the sestiere (district) of Cannaregio. It faces the eponymous campo (square), across the Strada Nova. It was founded in the 10th century, although the first document mentioning it dates to 1117. It was reconsecrated in 1267 by the patriarch of Caorle and Jesolo after it had been deeply renewed. Starting from 1531, it was completely rebuilt in the style of Mauro Codussi. The church has a square plan with two façades, the main one featuring pilasters with Corinthian capitals. The interior is on the Greek cross plan, with four pillars at the crossing supporting the arcades of the dome. Artworks include a St. Demetrius attributed to the early Tintoretto (c. 1547) and a crucifix attributed to Andrea Brustolon. An inscription in the interior recalls the baptism of Carlo Rezzonico, future Pope Clement XIII, occurred here on 29 March 1693.

Palazzo Duodo is a Gothic-style palace on the Canal Grande, located between the Ca' Tron and the Palazzo Priuli Bon, in the sestiere of Santa Croce, in Venice, Italy. There is a second Palazzo Duodo a Campo Sant'Angelo. The palace was built in the 15th century. In 1712 it was let to Marchese Orazio Lancilotti, and in 1740 there were several tenants. In 1808 it belonged to Carlo Duodo of S. Maria Zobenigo

San Stae is a church in central Venice, in the sestiere of Santa Croce. San Stae, an abbreviation for Saint Eustachius, was founded at the beginning of the 11th century and reconstructed in the 17th century, and has a main facade (1709) on the Grand Canal of Venice, constructed by Domenico Rossi, and richly decorated with statuary by Giuseppe Torretto, Antonio Tarsia, Pietro Baratta, and Antonio Corradini. The interior has a tomb for the Mocenigo family. The right wall contains altars with works by Niccolò Bambini, Giuseppe Camerata, and Antonio Balestra. The three chapels on the left house works by Giuseppe Torretto, Pietro Baratta, Francesco Migliori, and Jacopo Amigoni. The roof of the presbytery has a ceiling decorated with a large canvas by Bartolomeo Letterini, while the walls have canvases by Giuseppe Angeli and small canvases dedicated to the Apostles, including a Martyrdom of St. Bartholemew (1721) (right lower) by a young Giambattista Tiepolo; The Martyrdom of Saint Thomas by Giambattista Pittoni, a Martyrdom of St. James the Greater by Giambattista Piazzetta; and a Liberation of St. Peter by Sebastiano Ricci (left lower). The sacristy contains a Death of Christ by Pietro della Vecchia and a Trajan orders Sant'Eustachio to pray to the idols by Giambattista Pittoni.

The Scuola vecchia della Misericordia ("Old School of Mercy") is a former charity building in Venice, Italy, in the sestiere of Cannaregio. It is located near the north margin of the city, at the intersections of Rio della Sensa and the confluence of Rio di Noale and Rio di San Falice. It was also known as the Scuola Grande di Santa Maria della Misericordia. It was erected in 1310 and subsequently enlarged several times; in Venice a scuola was the seat of a charity/religious institution. By the early 16th century, the old church had joined with the nearby Franciscan abbey, and the old meeting hall had been rented out. Construction of a new Scuola meeting hall, the Scuola Nuova della Misericordia was begun in 1507 across the Rio dell Sensa. However, 25 years later this was only a foundation, and new designs by Jacopo Sansovino completed the two-story brick structure. This was never faced with marble or stone, and sold in 1634 to the guild of silk weavers. The Scuola Nuova has been recently restored.

Ca' Tron is a palace in Venice, northern Italy, facing the Canal Grande. Part of the sestiere (quarter) of Santa Croce, it is situated between the Palazzo Belloni Battagia and Palazzo Duodo, near the church of San Stae. It is owned by the Università Iuav di Venezia and houses the Department of Design and Planning in Complex Environments. The palace was rebuilt in the late 16th century to the design of an unknown architect influenced by Jacopo Sansovino as the residence of the Tron family, who lived here until their extinction in the 19th century. The Tron had lived in this parish from the time of the start of the Patriciate. The family produced one Doge, Niccolo Tron in 1471, and nearly a half dozen procurators, and many other Venetian statesmen and generals. Maximilian, Elector of Bavaria, stayed here in 1684; and in 1775 Andrea Tron entertained the Emperor Joseph II with a magnificent ball. Senator Francesco Tron, grandson of Andrea, died here in 1793. In the 19th century the palace nearly fell into ruin.It has been owned by the Università Iuav di Venezia since 1972.
