Brno-Starý Lískovec

Brno-Nový Lískovec is one of the 29 city districts of Brno, Czech Republic, located in the southwestern part of the city. It consists of the municipal part and cadastral territory of Nový Lískovec (German: Neu Leskau, lit. 'New Lískovec'), along with a small uninhabited part of Starý Lískovec, originally parts of the municipality of Lískovec, with which it was annexed to Brno in 1919. The total cadastral area is 1.65 km². The city district was established on November 24, 1990. About 10,000 people live here. Brno-Nový Lískovec is adjacent to the district of Brno-Starý Lískovec in the south and southeast. For the purposes of the senate elections, Brno-Nový Lískovec is included in electoral district number 59 of the Brno-City District.

Brno-Bohunice is a municipal district of the city of Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. It is located in the southwest part of the city. It is first mentioned in 1237. It began growing rapidly at the beginning of the 18th century. In 1919, Bohunice officially became part of Brno, which meant further growth. Street names first appeared in 1925. In 1921, Bohunice had 202 houses and 1463 inhabitants. Today's statistics show that Bohunice currently has about 614 houses with 14,212 inhabitants as of 2021. Until 1975, Bohunice was just a small district at one end of the city of Brno, connected with the city center by a bus. In the 1970s many housing developments were built, which increased the district's population to increase to 13,000 by the end of the decade. Today, there is several tram lines, bus lines and trolleybus lines, which serve the transport to and from the city center. In the eastern direction it neighbors with the major Brno graveyard - The Central Cemetery - and the western part neighbors with the district Starý Lískovec. Today Bohunice is probably best known for its hospital - it is the largest hospital in Moravia and one of the biggest hospitals in the Czech Republic. Recently, the hospital area was expanded greatly and the faculty of science and engineering of Masaryk University was relocated here - now known as the Univerzitní kampus. The entire complex was then expanded even further by building a shopping gallery and TESCO nearby and its name is Campus.

Ostopovice is a municipality and village in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,700 inhabitants. Ostopovice lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Brno and 185 km (115 mi) south-east of Prague.

The South Moravian Region (Czech: Jihomoravský kraj; German: Südmährische Region, pronounced [zyːtˈmɛːʁɪʃə ʁeˈɡi̯oːn]; Slovak: Juhomoravský kraj), or just South Moravia, is an administrative unit (kraj) of the Czech Republic, located in the south-western part of its historical region of Moravia (an exception is Jobova Lhota which traditionally belongs to Bohemia). The 2016 UEC European Track Championships (under-23 & junior) were the 16th continental championships for European under-23 and junior track cyclists, and the 7th since the event was renamed following the reorganisation of European track cycling in 2010. The event took place at the Velodromo Fassa Bortolo in Montichiari, Italy from 12 to 17 July 2016.

Anthropos (or Anthropos Pavilion, from the Greek Άνθρωπος, human or man) is a museum located in the city of Brno, South Moravia, Czech Republic. The museum is a part of the Moravské zemské muzeum (Moravian Museum). It focuses on exhibitions presenting the oldest history of Europe and mankind. In a 2009 exhibition, the museum presented the most important art works of the Paleolithic era, such as Venus of Willendorf (exhibited for the first time outside of Austria) and Venus of Dolní Věstonice.

Brno Exhibition Center (Czech: Brněnské výstaviště) is a convention centre based in Brno, Czech Republic. It was established in 1928. The centre occupies a site on 667,000 square metres (7,180,000 sq ft) and provides a total net exhibition area of 125,496 square metres (1,350,830 sq ft) including open-air space and exhibition halls with an exhibition area of 61,479 square metres (661,750 sq ft). The centre has 15 exhibition halls with a visitor capacity of 25,000–30,000 (maximum 60,000) a day. The number of visitors per year grew to 780,000 in 2017.

Moravany (German: Morbes) is a municipality and village in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,500 inhabitants.

Nebovidy is a municipality and village in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 800 inhabitants. Nebovidy lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Brno and 186 km (116 mi) south-east of Prague.

Brno-Bosonohy is a city district in the southwest of the city of Brno, Czech Republic. It consists of the municipal part and cadastral territory of Bosonohy (German: Parfuß) and a small part of neighbouring Kohoutovice. Bosonohy was originally an independent municipality that was annexed to Brno in 1971. The city district was established on 24 November 1990. About 2,800 people live here. For the purposes of the Senate elections, Brno-Bosonohy is included in electoral district number 59 of Brno-City District.

Brno-Kohoutovice is a city district of Brno, Czech Republic, located in the western part of the city. It consists of almost the entire cadastral territory of Kohoutovice, the western part of Pisárky and a small southern part of Jundrov. The total area is 4.09 km2. The city district was established on November 24, 1990. Over 12,000 inhabitants live here. For the purposes of the senate elections, Brno-Kohoutovice is included in electoral district number 59 of the Brno-City District.
