Tatranská Javorina (Polish: Jaworzyna Tatrzańska, Hungarian: Tátrajavorina, German: Uhrgarten) is a village in Poprad District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia.

Brzegi [ˈbʐɛɡi] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bukowina Tatrzańska, within Tatra County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia.

Ľadový štít (translated into English as Ice Peak; Hungarian: Jég-völgyi-csúcs, literally, Ice Valley Peak) is the third highest of the Tatra Mountains, in Slovakia, and in the whole 1,500 km (930 mi) long Carpathian mountain chain, as well as in northern and eastern Central Europe.

Belianske Tatras (Slovak: Belianske Tatry, Slovak pronunciation: [ˈbelɪɐnske ˈtatri]) is a mountain range in the Eastern Tatras in North Central Slovakia. The Eastern Tatras are part of the Tatra Mountains, which are part of the Inner Western Carpathians. The highest point is Havran at 2,151.5 metres (7,059 ft). Like most of the area, the peak is not accessible for tourists to protect the rare animals and plants. The first inhabitants were shepherds in the 14th century. The main 14 km long ridge contains mountains built of limestone and dolomite with distinctive karst topography. One of just a few caves in the Tatras open to public – Belianska Cave – is located here.

Jurgów (Polish: [ˈjurguf]) is a village in the Spisz region of southern Poland, near the border with Slovakia and the town of Bukowina Tatrzańska, on the Białka river. It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) east of Bukowina Tatrzańska, 15 km (9 mi) north-east of Zakopane, and 81 km (50 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.

Małe Ciche [ˈmawɛ ˈt͡ɕixɛ], (Slovak: Malé Tiché) is a village and a ski resort, in the administrative district of Gmina Poronin, within Tatra County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Poronin, 9 km (6 mi) east of Zakopane, and 85 km (53 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.The village has a population of 400.

Gmina Bukowina Tatrzańska (Slovak: Tatranská Bukovina) is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Tatra County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, on the Slovak border. Its seat is the village of Bukowina Tatrzańska, which lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Zakopane and 80 km (50 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków. The gmina covers an area of 131.84 square kilometres (50.9 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 12,386.

Bukowina Tatrzańska [bukɔˈvina taˈtʂaɲska], (Slovak: Tatranská Bukovina) is a village in Tatra County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Bukowina Tatrzańska. It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Zakopane and 80 km (50 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków. Bukowina Tatrzańska is a popular destination for the Tour de Pologne, having served as the finishing point for stages several times, most recently in the 2014 edition of the race.In the village there are several historic wooden guesthouses from the Interbellum Period built in the Zakopane Style architecture including the Cultural Centre which is ranked among the biggest wooden buildings in Poland. The village also hosts the annual Polish folklore festival Sabałowe Bajania.

Lomnický štít (English: Lomnica Peak or Lomnický Peak, Hungarian: Lomnici-csúcs, German: Lomnitzer Spitze, Polish: Łomnica) is one of the highest and most visited mountain peaks in the High Tatras mountains of Slovakia. Connected by cable car to Tatranská Lomnica, its summit is 2,634 metres (8,642 ft) above sea level, making it the second highest peak in the High Tatras after Gerlachovský štít (2654 m). Local shoemaker and amateur miner Jakab Fábry stated he made an ascent around 1760–1790, but the first recorded ascent was made by the English traveler Robert Townson and guide on 16 August 1793. He measured the elevation of the peak to be 2633 m, a meter below the actual elevation. The first winter ascent was made in 1891. In the past, Lomnický štít was called as Vater (Father), Grossvater (Grandfather), Königsberg (King's Mountain), Królowa Tatr and Królowa Tatrzańska (Princess of the Tatra), Petra altissima kesmarkiensis and allerhöchster Kaisermärkerfels (Highest cliff of Kežmarok), höchste Kaisermärker Spitze (Highest peak of Kežmarok), késmárki hegyek (Hills of Kežmarok), Kesmarker Spitze or Lumnitzer Spitze (Peak of Kežmarok or Peak of Lomnica). Since 1940, tourists have reached the peak by cable car. They are allowed to stay on the peak for 50 minutes. The cable car system is normally closed in the month of May for annual maintenance. It is also possible to climb the peak from Lomnický Saddle, but this is only permitted with a mountain guide. There is a solar observatory and weather station permanently manned year round at the terminus of the cable car.

The Eastern Tatras form part of the European Tatra Mountains range in Poland and Slovakia. The term is rarely used, with the area more commonly referred to as the High Tatras and the Belianske Tatras (Slovak: Belianske Tatry) ranges.

Gerlachovská veža is a mountain in the Northern ridge Zadni Gerlach in the main ridge of the Slovak High Tatras. From Veľká Litvorová veža it is separated by Nižná Gerlachovská lávka, and from the Malá Litvorová veža the mountain is bounded by Vyšná Lučivnianska lávka. At the top of the mountain there are no marked trails for tourists, only Taterniks are able to gain access to the top of the peak. In the direction of the Velická Valley, the mountain falls to the ridge. Towards to the Kačacia Valley the mountain forms a spectacular rib shaped rock when joining the valley.

Rzepiska [ʐɛˈpiska] (Slovak: Repisko) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bukowina Tatrzańska, within Tatra County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Bukowina Tatrzańska, 17 km (11 mi) north-east of Zakopane, and 79 km (49 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków. It is one of the 14 villages in the Polish part of the historical region of Spiš (Polish: Spisz).
