Closter High School was a comprehensive public high school in Closter, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, that operated from 1912 to 1955 as part of the Closter Public Schools.

Closter () is a borough in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 8,594, an increase of 221 (+2.6%) from the 2010 census count of 8,373, which in turn reflected a decline of 10 (−0.1%) from the 8,383 counted in the 2000 census.

Harold Hess Lustron House is located in Closter, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1950 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 25, 2000. It is a Lustron house. After threat of destruction the house was deeded to the town of Closter.

The Blauvelt House is located at 54 Tappan Road in the borough of Norwood in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The historic stone house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983, for its significance in architecture. It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS). Described as a lovely example of early Dutch craftsmanship by the nomination form, the house was likely built by a member of the Blauvelt family before the American Revolutionary War based on architectural evidence. The south side is constructed with bricks. It was owned by William Atwater in 1876. It was restored in 1930 by G. Semendinger.

It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS). According to the nomination form, the house was built before the American Revolutionary War based on a map by Robert Erskine. In 1779, John Westervelt owned 240 acres (97 ha) here. The house features a Flemish bond brick facade and has been substantially expanded. It was owned by George Ward in 1876 and associated with P. T. Barnum.

The David and Cornelius Van Horn House is located at 11 Cedar Lane in the borough of Closter in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States The historic stone house was built around 1778 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 9, 1983, for its significance in architecture. It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS). According to the nomination form, the farm was confiscated and sold to Henry Folks (Volk) in 1779. Christian Van Horn purchased it in 1800 for his son David Van Horn. After his death, it passed to his son, Cornelius Van Horn.

As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,170 students and 97.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.0:1.The district participates in special education programs offered by Region III, one of seven such regional programs in Bergen County. Region III coordinates and develops special education programs for the 1,000 students with learning disabilities in the region, which also includes the Alpine, Closter, Demarest, Harrington Park, Haworth, Northvale and Old Tappan districts, as well as the Northern Valley Regional High School District.
