75 Rockefeller Plaza is a skyscraper on the north side of 51st Street in New York City, originally built as a northern extension to Rockefeller Center.

The Paley Center for Media, formerly the Museum of Television & Radio (MT&R) and the Museum of Broadcasting, founded in 1975 by William S. Paley, is an American cultural institution in New York with a branch office in Los Angeles, dedicated to the discussion of the cultural, creative, and social significance of television, radio, and emerging platforms for the professional community and media-interested public. It was renamed The Paley Center for Media on June 5, 2007, to encompass emerging broadcasting technologies such as the Internet, mobile video, and podcasting, as well as to expand its role as a neutral setting where media professionals can engage in discussion and debate about the evolving media landscape.

The 21 Club, often simply 21, was a traditional American cuisine restaurant and former prohibition-era speakeasy, located at 21 West 52nd Street in New York City.When it closed, it had been active for 90 years, and it had hosted every US president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt, except for George W. Bush. It had a hidden wine cellar where it stored the collections of celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Nixon, and Sophia Loren.After being shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic, the establishment announced in December 2020 that it would not reopen "in its current form for the foreseeable future" and was considering how to keep the restaurant a viable operation in the long term. In March 2021, a year after the shutdown, management took steps to terminate the staff. The famous jockeys were removed from the façade, marking the end of an era, remembered by patrons and staff alike.

The 53rd Street Library is a branch of the New York Public Library at 18 West 53rd Street, just west of Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The library is composed of three floors, including two basement levels, and contains a glass facade. The building is located on the south side of 53rd Street, across from the Museum of Modern Art, and located adjacent to 666 Fifth Avenue to the east. It opened in 2016 as a replacement for the Donnell Library Center, which occupied a building at 20 West 53rd Street. The Donnell Library Center operated from 1955 until 2008, when its building was razed and a 46-story hotel and residential building constructed on the site.

The Museum of Modern Art Department of Film, based in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, United States, and founded in 1935, contains works of international cinema, focusing on the art and history of the film medium. The collection comprises more than 22,000 films and 4 million film stills. The department's public film screenings are held at the Museum's 53rd Street building. The Celeste Bartos International Film Study Center, also at the 53rd Street building, maintains scholarly resources on film and has facilities for viewing films from the collection for research purposes. The film and film stills collections are stored at the Celeste Bartos Film Preservation Center in Hamlin, Pennsylvania. The department also operates a circulating film and video library.

China Grill New York was established in 1987 at the CBS Building in Manhattan, New York City. It was founded by partners Jeffrey Chodorow and Kenji Seki, with Seki both managing and fulfilling executive chef responsibilities. The menu was based on Seki's previous employer, Chinois on Main, which was located in Santa Monica, California and owned by Wolfgang Puck. He would return to Los Angeles a year later to start his restaurant called Noa Noa. The dining room of China Grill occupied a full city block, with interior details such as Marco Polo quotes etched into the floor, high ceilings, granite walls, parasol-esque overhead lighting, and an open kitchen. China Grill closed in 2017.

The Women's National Republican Club is the oldest private club for Republican women in the United States, and was founded by Henrietta Wells Livermore in 1921.The club grew out of the earlier women's suffrage movement in New York which led to the Nineteenth Amendment. The club built its third and current home at 23 West 51st Street, New York City in 1934. That Neo-Georgian style building was built on the former site of Andrew Carnegie's home and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.The club continues to serve its members with guest rooms and dining, in addition to political lectures. It allows men to join as associate members.

50 Rockefeller Plaza (formerly the Associated Press Building) is a 15-story building located at Rockefeller Plaza between 50th and 51st Streets in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Completed in 1938, the building is part of Rockefeller Center, which was built in the Art Deco style.

650 Fifth Avenue (earlier known as the Piaget Building and the Pahlavi Foundation Building) is a 36-story 150 m (490 ft) building on the edge of Rockefeller Center on 52nd Street in New York City. The building was designed by John Carl Warnecke & Associates for the Pahlavi Foundation, a nonprofit organization run by the then-Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, “to pursue Iran’s charitable interests in the U.S.”. After the Iranian revolution in 1979, the Islamic Republic of Iran sought to take control of the Shah's property, including the assets of the Pahlavi Foundation, which was renamed the Alavi Foundation. Tenants who leased space at 650 Fifth Avenue included Ivan F. Boesky, the infamous “greed-is-good” Wall Street speculator who was convicted of insider trading in 1987, and Marc Rich, a billionaire oil trader whose invention of the spot oil market made his fortune and changed the world economy.The Alavi Foundation itself has its headquarters in Suite 2406.

The Feagin School of Dramatic Art (also Feagin School of Dramatic Radio and Arts) first located at Carnegie Hall, then later at 316 West 57th Street in New York City, was an early training site for notable actors including Jeff Corey, Helen Claire, Angela Lansbury, Alex Nicol, and Cris Alexander. It was later relocated to the International Building at Rockefeller Center.The school was founded by Lucy Feagin.

Established in 2015, the Artists' File Initiative (AFI) is an archival project located in The Spencer Art Reference Library at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The mission of AFI is to create archival files documenting the careers of the creative community of Kansas City, Missouri. In pursuit of this mission, the Artists' File Initiative takes an active role in collaborating with artists to create in-depth archival files documenting their artistic career. The project helps local artists preserve their legacy, as well as provides access to researchers who request information on local artists. The files are a resource that is used by scholars, artists, curators and anyone interested in learning more about the arts community in this region.

The CBS Building, also known as Black Rock, is the headquarters of the CBS broadcasting network at 51 West 52nd Street in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. The 38-story, 491-foot-tall (150 m) building, the only skyscraper designed by Eero Saarinen, was constructed from 1961 to 1964. The interior spaces and furnishings were designed by Saarinen and Florence Knoll Bassett. The building previously served as the headquarters of CBS Records (now Sony Music Entertainment) until the early 1990s. The building is on Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) between 52nd and 53rd Streets, although its main entrances are on the side streets. The "Black Rock" nickname is derived from the design of its facade, which consists of angled dark-gray granite piers alternating with dark-tinted glass. The facade was designed to make the building appear as a continuous slab. Inside, the building has a gross floor area of approximately 800,000 square feet (74,000 m2). The building's superstructure is made of reinforced concrete, and steel beams are only used below ground. Saarinen referred to the building as the "simplest skyscraper statement in New York". Construction started in 1961 and, despite Saarinen's death shortly afterward, the design was finalized in 1962. The first employees moved into the building in late 1964 and it was completed the following year. The building initially served as the headquarters of CBS, which occupied all the above-ground space until the early 1990s, when CBS started leasing some stories to other tenants. The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the CBS Building as a city landmark in 1997. CBS attempted to sell the building twice between 1998 and 2001, and ViacomCBS again attempted to sell it in early 2020. ViacomCBS announced it would sell the building for $760 million to Harbor Group International in August 2021.
