The Rev. Samuel Gay House is a historic house at 10 Williamsville Road in Hubbardston, Massachusetts. This 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1817 for Reverend Samuel Gay, a controversial local minister. The house is a fine local example of Federal style architecture, particularly noted for its front door surround, which has pilasters and a semicircular fanlight topped by an entablature. Reverend Gay was a polarizing figure in the local Congregational Church, which split in 1827, with Gay leading the formation of the Evangelical Congregational Church, which was more Calvinist in its teaching than the Unitarians who remained in the old congregation.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Hubbardston Public Library is the public library of Hubbardston, Massachusetts. The library, located at 7 Main Street, serves the town by providing a wide variety of materials, services, and events. It offers Internet access and access to the CWMARS resource-sharing catalog. The library is housed in one of Hubbardston's most architecturally significant buildings, an 1874 Second Empire/Italianate brick building that also houses the town offices. Construction of the building, and a significant portion of the library's early collection, were made possible through grants and gifts from Hubbardston native Jonas G. Clark, founder of Worcester's Clark University. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Rural Glen Cemetery is a historic cemetery on Worcester Road (Massachusetts Route 68) in Hubbardston, Massachusetts. Established about 1820, it is at 3.5 acres (1.4 ha) one of the town's largest cemeteries. It was created on land formerly owned by the locally prominent Reed/Reid family, and includes the burials of some of the town's notable 19th and 20th-century residents. The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020. It is presently restricted to burials related to existing interments.

The Burnshirt River is a 12.9-mile-long (20.8 km) stream in Worcester County, Massachusetts. It is a tributary of the Ware River, draining ultimately into the Connecticut River and thence the Long Island Sound. The river rises about one mile southwest of Templeton, Massachusetts at an elevation of 653 feet (199 m) above sea level. From there it flows through forest and marshes south to Williamsville, then southeast to join the Ware River about two miles east of Barre. It is stocked with trout for fishing. For much of its length, the river is paralleled by the former Ware River Railroad, now the Ware River Rail Trail.

The No. 4 Schoolhouse is an historic school building on Farrington Road near Sunrise Avenue in Barre, Massachusetts. The one-room wood-frame schoolhouse was built in 1883, and was at least the second schoolhouse in the town's fourth district. The building served as a schoolhouse until 1930, when the town centralized its schools. In 1937 the building was purchased by a local community organization dedicated to its preservation. It has served as a community center since then.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Barre Falls Dam is located on the Ware River in Barre, Massachusetts, about 0.3 miles (0.48 km) below the junction of the river's east and west branches and 13 miles (21 km) northwest of Worcester, Massachusetts. Designed and constructed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, this dam substantially reduces flooding along the Ware, Chicopee, and Connecticut rivers. Construction of the project began in May 1956 with completion in July 1958 at a cost of US$2 million. The Barre Falls reservoir is located within the Upper Ware River Watershed and is part of the Chicopee River Watershed. Access to the site is available from Route 62.

WJWT's programming consists of Christian music and Christian talk and teaching programs such as Turning Point with David Jeremiah, and Truth for Life with Alistair Begg. WJWT was previously owned by CSN International and derived a portion of its programming from the Calvary Satellite Network.The station was assigned the WJWT callsign by the Federal Communications Commission on July 9, 2003.

The district was in 2010 named as one of the 1,000 places to visit in Massachusetts by the Great Places in Massachusetts Commission.
