Hubbardston is a town in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States. As of the 2020 U.S. census, the town population was 4,328. It is situated 18 miles north of Worcester and 53 miles west of Boston; it is distinguished in Massachusetts by being unusually high at 1015 feet above sea level.

Hubbardston Town Common Historic District encompasses the town common of Hubbardston, Massachusetts, the adjacent 1773 First Parish Church, and the town's first burying ground. It has been the center of the town's civic and religious life since its incorporation in the 1760s, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. The district was named as one of the 1,000 Places to Visit in Massachusetts by the Great Places in Massachusetts Commission.

The Hubbardston Public Library is the public library of Hubbardston, Massachusetts. The library, located at 7 Main Street, serves the town by providing a wide variety of materials, services, and events. It offers Internet access and access to the CWMARS resource-sharing catalog. The library is housed in one of Hubbardston's most architecturally significant buildings, an 1874 Second Empire/Italianate brick building that also houses the town offices. Construction of the building, and a significant portion of the library's early collection, were made possible through grants and gifts from Hubbardston native Jonas G. Clark, founder of Worcester's Clark University. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Rev. Samuel Gay House is a historic house at 10 Williamsville Road in Hubbardston, Massachusetts. This 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1817 for Reverend Samuel Gay, a controversial local minister. The house is a fine local example of Federal style architecture, particularly noted for its front door surround, which has pilasters and a semicircular fanlight topped by an entablature. Reverend Gay was a polarizing figure in the local Congregational Church, which split in 1827, with Gay leading the formation of the Evangelical Congregational Church, which was more Calvinist in its teaching than the Unitarians who remained in the old congregation.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Barre Falls Dam is located on the Ware River in Barre, Massachusetts, about 0.3 miles (0.48 km) below the junction of the river's east and west branches and 13 miles (21 km) northwest of Worcester, Massachusetts. Designed and constructed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, this dam substantially reduces flooding along the Ware, Chicopee, and Connecticut rivers. Construction of the project began in May 1956 with completion in July 1958 at a cost of US$2 million. The Barre Falls reservoir is located within the Upper Ware River Watershed and is part of the Chicopee River Watershed. Access to the site is available from Route 62.

Mount Jefferson, also known as Muzzy Hill, is a hill ridgeline located in Worcester County of Massachusetts, two miles NNW of Hubbardston. Mount Jefferson Road passes along the hill crest.

The Four Corners–Goodnow Farm Historic District of Princeton, Massachusetts encompasses a rural agricultural area with well-preserved buildings dating from the 18th to 20th centuries. It is located in the western part of the town, and is centered on the junction of Old Colony, Gates, and Thompson Roads. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The No. 4 Schoolhouse is an historic school building on Farrington Road near Sunrise Avenue in Barre, Massachusetts. The one-room wood-frame schoolhouse was built in 1883, and was at least the second schoolhouse in the town's fourth district. The building served as a schoolhouse until 1930, when the town centralized its schools. In 1937 the building was purchased by a local community organization dedicated to its preservation. It has served as a community center since then.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary is a 1,135 acres (459 ha) wildlife sanctuary located in Princeton, Massachusetts, owned by the Massachusetts Audubon Society. Charles T. Crocker III donated 600 acres of land along with several buildings to Mass Audubon in 1956. The former farmstead includes a nature center, 12 miles of trails through woodlands, wetlands, and meadows, and a large pond with canoe rentals in season.

The Sylvester K. Pierce House, also known as the SK Pierce Victorian Haunted Mansion, or just the Victorian Haunted Mansion, is a historic house at 4 West Broadway in Gardner, Massachusetts. Built between 1873 and 1875 for a local chair manufacturer, it is a prominent local example of Second Empire architecture and is well known for reports of paranormal activity. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022. The historic mansion was listed for sale in 2015 with a price of $329,000.

The Jabez Partridge Homestead is an historic farmstead at 81 Partridge Road in Gardner, Massachusetts. With its oldest part dating to about 1772, it is one of the oldest buildings in the town, built by an early settler, and is a good example of Federal period architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Ware River Diversion is a dam on the Ware River. It is part of the Boston, Massachusetts public water supply system, maintained by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). It is located in Worcester County in the town of Barre, close to its border with Oakham.
