Piazzale Loreto is a major city square in Milan, Italy.

Loreto is an interchange subway station serving Lines 1 and 2 of the Milan Metro. The Line 1 station was opened on 1 November 1964 as part of the inaugural section of the Metro, between Sesto Marelli and Lotto. The Line 2 station was opened on 27 September 1969 as part of the section between Cascina Gobba and Caiazzo.The station is located at Piazzale Loreto within the municipal area of Milan. It is a very busy station. This is an underground station, with two tracks in a single tunnel for Line 1 over two tracks in one tunnel for Line 2.

Italian Sommelier Association, 'AIS' (Associazione Italiana Sommelier, sometimes also as known as Italian Association of Sommeliers) is an Italian non-profit organization founded in Milan on July 7, 1965, officially recognised and legally acknowledged by the Italian government on April 6, 1973, with formal President of the Republic decree #539 in 1973. Fausto Tinelli (1959–1978) and Lorenzo "Iaio" Iannucci (1959–1978) were two Italian left-wing activists who were shot dead after a street confrontation in Milan on 18 March 1978 during the Years of Lead.
