The Tamanduateí River (in Portuguese: Rio Tamanduateí, Portuguese pronunciation: [tamɐ̃dwate'i]) is a river of São Paulo state in southeastern Brazil.

Ponte Pequena (Little Bridge in English) is a neighborhood in the Bom Retiro district of São Paulo, Brazil. It is located on the northern edge of the central zone of the city. The neighborhood is connect to São Paulo Metro Line 1 (Blue) at Armênia station. It is not a residential neighborhood and is mainly an access district that connects the northern area with the central area of São Paulo. Ponte Pequena is a blighted area with a low population. Street prostitution, homelessness, and litter are problems in the neighborhood.

The St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral (Portuguese: Catedral Armênia São Gregório Iluminador ) also called Armenian Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator Is the name that receives a religious building affiliated to the Catholic Church that follows the Armenian rite and that is located in the Tiradentes Avenue, 718 Lux of the city of São Paulo in the state of the same name in the South part of the South American country of Brazil. It should not be confused with the other Catholic cathedrals of the city that include 4 of Latin rite (the Cathedral of Santo Amaro, Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, Cathedral of St. Michael and Cathedral of the Holy Family) and the other 2 of Catholic oriental rites (Melkite Cathedral Our Lady of Paradise and the Maronite Cathedral of Our Lady of Lebanon). The temple follows the Armenian Catholic rite and functions as the headquarters of the Armenian Catholic Apostolic Exarchate of Latin America and Mexico (Exarcado Apostólico para os fiéis de Rito Armênio residentes na América Latina e México) that is directly dependent on the congregation for the Eastern churches based in Rome. It is under the pastoral responsibility of Bishop Pablo Hakimian.

The Itaipava São Paulo Indy 300 presented by Nestlé was an event in the IRL IndyCar Series, contested in the 2010 through 2013 IndyCar Series seasons. The event was originally announced on November 25, 2009, as the first championship event for the series outside North America and Japan, and the first American open-wheel race in the country since the Rio 200 at Jacarepaguá in the 2000 CART season. Due to a lengthy distance to travel from most team bases, the event promoters offered each team a six-figure sum of money, as well as paying for all expenses.The street circuit race track was laid out in the Santana district, birthplace of legendary Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna and Brazilian auto racing pioneer Chico Landi. The main straightaway of the circuit was along the Sambadrome of Anhembi and utilized portions of the Marginal Tietê service drive. The Anhembi Convention Center was used for support facilities and spectator attractions. The circuit was one of two IndyCar Series circuits (Baltimore the other) to have pit lanes not positioned at the start-finish line; São Paulo's was positioned after turn four.
