Anhembi Parque is a convention center located in Santana, a district of São Paulo, Brazil. At 400,000 square meters of indoor space and 93,000 meters of outdoor space, it is one of the largest event grounds in Latin America. The center is home to 20+ large annual fairs, each drawing in excess of 50,000 visitors, and hosts the annual Carnival of São Paulo.

The Itaipava São Paulo Indy 300 presented by Nestlé was an event in the IRL IndyCar Series, contested in the 2010 through 2013 IndyCar Series seasons. The event was originally announced on November 25, 2009, as the first championship event for the series outside North America and Japan, and the first American open-wheel race in the country since the Rio 200 at Jacarepaguá in the 2000 CART season. Due to a lengthy distance to travel from most team bases, the event promoters offered each team a six-figure sum of money, as well as paying for all expenses.The street circuit race track was laid out in the Santana district, birthplace of legendary Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna and Brazilian auto racing pioneer Chico Landi. The main straightaway of the circuit was along the Sambadrome of Anhembi and utilized portions of the Marginal Tietê service drive. The Anhembi Convention Center was used for support facilities and spectator attractions. The circuit was one of two IndyCar Series circuits (Baltimore the other) to have pit lanes not positioned at the start-finish line; São Paulo's was positioned after turn four.

Chácara da Floresta (English: Forest Farmstead) was an association football stadium in São Paulo, Brazil.It was used by AA das Palmeiras, a three-time state champion club, from 1906 to 1929. From 1930 to 1935, it was used by São Paulo FC, champion of 1931 Campeonato Paulista, which after financial problems, negotiated the ground with CR Tietê (focused on water sports) It was also used by Independente EC, a dissident of CR Tietê who participates in the 1935 Campeonato Paulista. After the insolvency of CR Tietê in 2012, the land where the ground was located belongs actually to the Municipality of São Paulo.

Faculdade Zumbi dos Palmares, also known as Unipalmares or FAZP, is a private educational institution in the Ponte Pequena neighborhood in São Paulo. Founded in 2004 and named after Zumbi (the leader of the Palmares quilombo), it is the only institution of higher education in Brazil to focus primarily on attracting Afro-Brazilians and teach an Afro-Brazilian-focused curriculum. One of the objectives of the faculty would be to reduce the inequality between blacks and whites in higher education, since in Brazil, only 13.3% of students in higher education are black, according to data from the 2012 Census of Higher Education. In 2012 accounted for 1,600 enrolled students and 1,400 graduates.

Ponte Pequena (Little Bridge in English) is a neighborhood in the Bom Retiro district of São Paulo, Brazil. It is located on the northern edge of the central zone of the city. The neighborhood is connect to São Paulo Metro Line 1 (Blue) at Armênia station. It is not a residential neighborhood and is mainly an access district that connects the northern area with the central area of São Paulo. Ponte Pequena is a blighted area with a low population. Street prostitution, homelessness, and litter are problems in the neighborhood.

Santana (Portuguese pronunciation: [sɐ̃ˈtɐnɐ]; from Portuguese Santa Ana, meaning Saint Anne) is a northern district in the subprefecture of Santana-Tucuruvi of the city of São Paulo, Brazil, and is located between 4–7 km (2.5–4.3 mi) from downtown São Paulo.

The Polo Cultural e Esportivo Grande Otelo, commonly known as Anhembi Sambadrome, is a Sambadrome and one of the largest outdoor venues for major events in the city of São Paulo in Brazil. It opened in 1991, and has a capacity of 103,200 people. It hosts around 30 events per year, including the São Paulo carnival, Independence Day celebrations, and music events.

Campo de Marte Airport (IATA: RTE, ICAO: SBMT) is the first airport built in São Paulo, Brazil, opened in 1929. It is named after Champ de Mars, in Paris, which in turn got its name from Campus Martius, in Rome. It is operated by Infraero.

The São Paulo street circuit is a street circuit in São Paulo, Brazil which hosted the São Paulo Indy 300 for four years (2010–2013). The track is 2.536 mi (4.081 km) long and consists of 11 turns. Even though it is a temporary circuit it still has a permanent seating capacity of 30,000 people as it passes through the Anhembi Sambadrome.

Portuguesa–Tietê is a metro station on São Paulo Metro Line 1-Blue, located in the district of Santana, in São Paulo. It was opened on September 26, 1975. Named as Tietê, it was renamed on June 10, 2006 as a tribute to Associação Portuguesa de Desportos, soccer club located in its surroundings.
