Langøya is an island in Sandefjord Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The 0.55-square-kilometre (140-acre; 55 ha) island is located in the Tønsbergfjorden, just outside the village of Skravestad. The island is accessible through a bridge that connects to the road Sandsveien. The island was named for its long shape. The 1.5-kilometre (0.93 mi) long island has an area of 550 decares (0.55 km2; 140 acres). It consists of farm fields, hills, and forests.It is a car-free island consisting of meadows, knolls, salt meadows, small bays, and forests. It became a landscape conservation area in 2006. It is known for its wide variety of rare wildflowers including species such as sea thrift, alternate-leaved golden-saxifrage, cowslip, greater yellow-rattle, sticky catchfly, and many others.

Veierland Church (Norwegian: Veierland kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Færder Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located in the village of Veierland (on the island of Veierland). It is one of the churches for the Nøtterøy parish which is part of the Tønsberg domprosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Tunsberg. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1905 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 150 people.

Tønsbergfjorden is a fjord in Vestfold county, Norway. The 25-kilometre (16 mi) long fjord runs between the mainland (Sandefjord Municipality) and the islands of Tjøme and Nøtterøy (Færder Municipality). The fjord has a number of islands located within it including Veierland, Hui, Langø, Natholmen, and the Stauper islands.The fjord starts out with a width of about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) and as it heads northwards, it narrows considerably, at one point the fjord is only 250 metres (820 ft) across. The city of Tønsberg is located at the northern end of the fjord. There is a small canal that runs through Tønsberg and it connects the northern end of the fjord to the Ytre Oslofjord to the east. The southern end of the fjord is where the mouth is, emptying into the Ytre Oslofjord. The mouth lies between Verdens Ende on the east side and the Østerøya peninsula in the west. The small Lahellefjorden is an arm which branches off the Tønsbergfjorden to the west.

Veierland is a populated, car-free island in Færder Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The 4.4-square-kilometre (1.7 sq mi) island is located in the Tønsbergfjorden, between the mainland (to the west), the island of Tjøme (to the east), and the island of Nøtterøy (to the northeast). Veierland Church was established in 1905. Historically, there was a Veierland School, however this closed in 2013. Veierland is primarily a summer vacation community. The island has a 17-kilometre (11 mi) shoreline with many popular swimming beaches including Kjølholmen, Hverveodden, and Kongshavn. Places for accommodation and eateries are open during the summer months.Veierland has been inhabited as long as Vestfold county. The island has a permanent year-round population of about 150 people, however, the island experiences significant summer tourism. Over 450 vacation homes can be found on the island. The island has no bridge or road connections. Veierland is connected to the mainland by 9-17 daily ferries from Tenvik on the island of Nøtterøy via the Jutøya AS. During the summer months there are also ferries from Engø peninsula in Sandefjord Municipality. Convenience stores, a golf course, and restaurants are operated on the island during summers, although most services are closed outside the tourist season. The island is primarily car-free, but residents may acquire permits for vehicles such as tractors, golf carts, mopeds, and ATVs. Besides its boat harbors, beaches, and cabin communities, the island remains densely forested with much agricultural activity.

Storevar is a village in Sandefjord Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The village is located along the Tønsbergfjorden, just south of the village of Melsomvik, about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) to the southeast of the large village of Stokke, and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the north of the village of Råstad. The 0.2-square-kilometre (49-acre) village had a population (2014) of 339 and a population density of 1,695 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,390/sq mi). Since 2015, the population and area data for this village area has not been separately tracked by Statistics Norway, but instead it has been considered part of the Melsomvik urban area.There are three islands in the fjord just outside Storevar: Gåsøykalven, Gåsøy, and Ravnø. During winters, the ocean occasionally freezes and makes it possible to hike to the islands from the village.

Engø or Engøy is a peninsula in Sandefjord Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located between the Tønsbergfjorden and Lahellefjorden, about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the east of the city of Sandefjord. The island of Natholmen lies just to the south of the peninsula. Engøy is located next to Lahelle, northeast of the city. A ferry operator, known as Jutøya AS, operates a small ferry which connects Engø to the nearby car-free island of Veierland, which is a popular summer tourist attraction. The ferry, known as MF Jutøya, is operated on contract with Vestviken Kollektivtrafikk. The ferry ride to Veierland island takes approximately 10 minutes.

Tenvik is a village in Færder Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The village is located on the coast of the island of Nøtterøy, along the Tønsbergfjorden. It is located about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) west of the village of Kjøpmannskjær, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to the northwest of the village of Sundene, and about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south of the village of Glomstein. The island of Veierland is located in the fjord about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) to the southwest of the village. There is a ferry from Tenvik to Veierland.The village of Tenvik and the surrounding countryside had a population in 2007 of 207 people.

Solløkka is a village in Sandefjord Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The village is located at the north end of the Lahellefjorden, just across the fjord from the village of Lahelle. The village sits about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) to the southeast of the village of Helgerød and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) east of the city of Sandefjord. Solløkka is considered to be one of the outer neighborhoods in the eastern part of the city of Sandefjord which has an area of 24 square kilometres (9.3 sq mi) and a population (in 2022) of 45,816. The statistical area Solløkka, which also can include the peripheral parts of the village as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of 331.Solløkka has a boat harbor and a 70-metre (230 ft) long sandy beach area plus it also has a number of cabins and vacation homes and a campground (“Solløkka camping og leirsted”).

Melsomvik is a village in the municipality of Sandefjord, Norway, which lies by the Tønsberg Fjord. Its population is 2,076 as of 2016. It has been a boat harbor since Medieval times when the Leidang fleet was located in Melsomvik. When the conflict with Sweden escalated and fears of war were imminent, the Royal Norwegian Navy was relocated from Horten to Melsomvik as Melsomvik was a better-protected location. Melsomvik remained an important site for the Norwegian Armed Forces until the 1960s. During the age of sailships there was much activity in Melsomvik, and it was also where the Navy laid their ships up in the years 1898-1964. Whale-catchers were also harbored in the hamlet of Melsomvik. Melsomvik experiences significant summer tourism and is home to many vacation homes.An agricultural school was established at Melsom on April 30, 1957, known as Vestfold Landbruksskole. This school changed names to Melsom Secondary School in 1994. Melsomvik is also home to Oslofjord Convention Center, formerly known as Brunstad Conference Center, which was established in 2003. It is owned and operated by Brunstad Christian Church (“Smith’s Friends”) and has a capacity of 9,000 guests in its 2,400 rooms.The neighboring village of Storevar was annexed into Melsomvik in 2016. Melsomvik was previously a part of Stokke municipality, but became a village in Sandefjord municipality on January 1, 2017.

The village is located about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) to the north of the villages of Solløkka and Lahelle, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to the northeast of the village of Freberg, and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the east of the city of Sandefjord. Helgerød is considered to be one of the outer neighborhoods in the eastern part of the city of Sandefjord which has an area of 24 square kilometres (9.3 sq mi) and a population (in 2022) of 45,816. The statistical area Helgerød, which also can include the peripheral parts of the village as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of 206.Helgerød was originally the name of a farm. The name derives from either Helgaruð (from the male name Helgi) or Helguruð (from the female name Helga). A sports hall known as Helgerødhallen was established by Helgerød elementary school in 1986. A nearby park was constructed in 2007 and includes a BMX bike trail, ball pond, and skatepark. Two handball fields were built here in 2008.

It is the church for the Stokke parish which is part of the Sandefjord prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Tunsberg. The brown brick church was built in a long church design in 1886 using plans drawn up by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The church seats about 550 people.
