Posada (Latin: Pheronia, Sardinian: Pasada), also previously known as Feronia or Pausata, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia. The city sits on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,394 and an area of 33.52 square kilometres (12.94 sq mi).Posada borders the following municipalities: Budoni, Siniscola and Torpè. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").

Siniscola (Italian: [siniˈskɔːla]; Sardinian: Thiniscòle [θiniˈskɔlɛ]) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 160 kilometres (99 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Nuoro. Siniscola borders the following municipalities: Irgoli, Lodè, Lula, Onifai, Orosei, Posada, Torpè.

San Giovanni di Posada (Latin: Portus Luguidonis or Portus Liquidonis) is a frazione and small village in Sardinia, Italy, on the Tyrrhenian coast of the island, in the territory of the comune of Posada. Formerly known as Marina di Posada, it underwent rebuilding in the 1970s as an residential village for tourism. Its history goes back to the Roman harbour (named "Portus Luguidonis" - presumably located in the little bay in front of the ancient church of St. John), from where the Romans entered inner Sardinia. Through this harbour passed all the goods to or from Rome, but all the cargo was carried by small and light ships directed to Olbia (some 50km north), where bigger ships would have trafficked with Ostia. Traffic was supposedly intense, Sardinia bearing the sobriquet "the granary of Rome". In the immediate surroundings, it is supposed there was a temple in honour of Feronia, an Etruscan deity, goddess of the waters; this would prove the presence of Etruscans in this area at the time of Nuragici people. A similar cult of Feronia is reported on the Italian mainland at least in two places: in Fiano Romano (near Rome), and in Terracina, some 120km south of Rome. It is one of the main tourist destinations of Sardinia, has a long beach (more than 15km of white sand) and a system of rivers of biological importance. A part of this territory is going to be formally protected in the near future with the creation of a nature park (Parco Fluviale).

Budoni (Gallurese: Budùni, Sardinian: Budùne) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 170 kilometres (110 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Olbia. As of 31 December 2014, it had a population of 5,125 and an area of 55.9 square kilometres (21.6 sq mi).The municipality of Budoni contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Agrustos (Gall.), Berruiles (Gall.), Birgalavò (Gall.), Limpiddu (Log.), Li Troni (Gall.), Ludduì (Gall.), Lu Linnalvu (Gall.), Luttuni (Gall.), Lutturai (Gall.), Maiorca (Gall.), Malamurì (Gall.), Muriscuvò (Log.), Nuditta (Gall.), Ottiolu (Gall.), San Gavino (Log.), San Lorenzo (Log.), San Pietro (Gall.), San Silvestro (Gall.), S'Iscala (Log.), Solità (Log.), Strugas (Gall.), Tanaunella (Log.), and Tamarispa (Log.). Budoni borders the following municipalities: Posada, San Teodoro, Torpè.

La Caletta is a small town, a harbour and a tourist destination in Sardinia, Italy. Caletta means a small bay or little harbour. The town is located approximately 50 km south of Olbia, in the administrative territory of Siniscola (province of Nuoro), on the Tyrrhenian coast of the island. An ancient village of fishermen, its small gulf has been transformed in the 1970s into a touristic harbour, and recently renewed and enlarged. The town (est. 1,000 inhabitants, that become more than 10,000 in Summer) is today deeply dependent on tourism and borders, at its northern side, with San Giovanni, the coastal fraction of Posada. La Caletta is in front of a well known beach (appr. 10 km of pure white sand) that ends at the small town of Santa Lucia. Local population requires that La Caletta can have in its port a ferry line for the Continent (Italian mainland), and some experiments were practiced a few years ago, that confirmed the potential success of such an eventual initiative, but (also due to the particular administrative competence of an external organ and being part of the port under the authority of the bordering territory of Posada) administrative problems and local rivalries actually stop any further evolution in this sense.

Porto Ottiolu is a private marina and a tourist destination located in the commune of Budoni, Province of Sassari, Sardinia, Italy, on Tyrrhenian Sea, some 35 km south of Olbia. In the past the area was known because there the legions of the Roman commander "Brizio" defeated the bloodthirsty "Sheriff of Porto Ottiolu".

San Teodoro (Gallurese: Santu Diadòru, Sardinian: Santu Tiadòru) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 180 kilometres (110 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southeast of Olbia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,565 and an area of 104.8 square kilometres (40.5 sq mi).The municipality of San Teodoro contains several frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets), among which: La Suarédda, Monti Pitrosu, Straula, Budditogliu, La Traversa, Lu Fraili, and Lu Sitagliacciu. San Teodoro borders the following municipalities: Budoni, Loiri Porto San Paolo, Padru, Torpè. The beach of "La Cinta" was home of the kite boarding festival in September 2010. The beach of "Lu Impostu" is also known as Little Tahiti due to the beautiful colours of the sea.

Irgoli (Latin: Fanum Carisi, Sardinian: Irgòli) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Nuoro. Irgoli borders the following municipalities: Galtellì, Loculi, Lula, Onifai, Siniscola.

Molara is an island in north-eastern Sardinia and constitutes, together with the island of Tavolara, Molarotto, the peninsula of Punta Coda Cavallo and other minor rocks, a protected marine park. Of a granite nature, it has an area of 3,411 km² and reaches, with Punta la Guardia, 158 m u.s.l. Its name, of medieval origin, is probably due to the rounded and uniform shape of the island, similar to a millstone (in Italian, mola).

Loculi (Sardinian: Lòcula) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 538 and an area of 38.2 square kilometres (14.7 sq mi). Loculi borders the following municipalities: Galtellì, Irgoli, Lula.

Orosei (Sardinian: Orosèi) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Nuoro. The town has 5000 inhabitants and at least 13 churches, including San Giacomo Apostolo and Sa Preione VezzaOrosei borders the following municipalities: Dorgali, Galtellì, Onifai, Siniscola. Orosei has tourist-destination beaches, including the Gulf of Orosei, Cala Ginepro, Sas Linnas Sicca Cala Liberotto, Bidderosa Oasis.The town recognizes two religious festivals, Sant'Isidoro and Santa Maria 'e Mare. They celebrate with processions.

Galtellì (Italian: [ɡaltelˈli]; Sardinian: Garteddi) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Nuoro. Galtellì borders the municipalities of: Dorgali, Irgoli, Loculi, Lula, Onifai, Orosei. Galtellì was a historic episcopal see, in the current diocese of Nuoro, in the territory of the ancient sentence of Gallura and, in particular, in the territory of the Baronie. Galtellì has one of the better-preserved historic centres in Sardinia. It has numerous churches, and the cathedral of Saint Peter houses a cycle of Romanesque frescoes.
