Linton is a civil parish in north-east of Herefordshire, England, and is approximately 14 miles (23 km) north-east from the city and county town of Hereford. The closest town is Bromyard, conjoined to the parish at the west. The parish includes the public open land of Bringsty Common at its north-east, and the hamlet of Linley Green.

The parish comprises the National Trust property of Brockhampton Estate and Park, which includes Lower Brockhampton House Brockhampton is represented in the lowest tier of UK governance by the seven-member Brockhampton Group Parish Council, which also represents the parishes of Linton and Norton. As Herefordshire is a unitary authority—no district council between parish and county councils—the parish sends councillors representing the Bromyard Bringsty Ward, to Herefordshire County Council.Before 1998, the parish had been part of the Malvern Hills district of Hereford and Worcester.According to the 2001 census, it had a population of 106.

Yearsett railway station was a station to the southeast of Brockhampton, Herefordshire, England. The station was opened on 2 May 1874 as a temporary terminus and closed on 22 October 1877.

It lies close to the Worcestershire border and within 3 miles (4.8 km) of the town of Bromyard. The area falls within the civil parish of Whitbourne. There is a pub, the Live and Let Live. The Brockhampton Estate lies to the west.

Evesbatch is a village and civil parish 12 miles (19 km) north east of Hereford, in the county of Herefordshire, England. In 2001 the parish had a population of 63. The parish touches Acton Beauchamp, Bishop's Frome and Cradley and Storridge. Evesbatch shares a parish council with Acton Beauchamp and Stanford Bishop called "Acton Beauchamp Group Parish Council".

The Brockhampton Estate is a National Trust property in Herefordshire, England, and is to the north of the A44 Bromyard to Worcester road, opposite the northern edge of Bringsty Common and east from the town of Bromyard. The significant aspect of the Estate is Lower Brockhampton, a timber framed manor house that dates to the late 14th century, surrounded by a moat, and entered by a restored gatehouse at the front of the house. The house is surrounded by 1,000 acres (400 ha) of farmland, some of it parkland, with specimen trees and 700 acres (280 ha) of woodland. In 2010, the National Trust undertook a major restoration of the house using traditional wattle and daub building methods.The Brockhampton Estate was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1946 by Colonel John Lutley, in whose family it had been for more than twenty generations, although the name of the family had changed several times through marriage.The site of the medieval village of Studmarsh is thought to be on the Estate; in 2012, an archaeological dig unearthed the foundations of two buildings that may have been part of the village.

Halmond's Frome is a hamlet in the civil parish of Bishop's Frome in Herefordshire, England, and is 11 miles (18 km) north-east from the city and county town of Hereford. The closest town is the market town of Bromyard, 4.5 miles (7 km) to the north. Halmond's Frome is at the west of the parish, and 300 yards (274 m) from the boundary with the parish of Evesbatch. The hamlet is centred on the junction of two minor roads: Snail's Bank, which runs from Bromyard at the north to the parish hamlet of Fromes Hill on the A4103 road 1 mile (1.6 km) at the south, and the road to the B124 road to Bishop's Frome village.During the 19th century Halmond's Frome was one of the townships within the parish. By 1881 the parish townships (as opposed to the complete parish area), of Halmond's Frome, Bishop's Frome (village), Leadon, Walton, and Stanford Regis had a combined population of 727. Listed occupations of Halmond's Frome in 1885 included two shopkeepers, one farmer, and a beer retailer-cum-carrier, in a parish of clay soil producing wheat, beans, hops and fruit. A beer retailer was still listed in 1913, as was a shoe maker.The hamlet comprises residential properties, a public house, a private guest house, and two farms, one with a hop kiln building. The 18th-century square hop kiln, red brick with twin pyramid slate roofs, is one of 14 Grade II listed buildings, another being the Major's Arms public house, originally a 17th-century cottage, with timber-framing with plaster infills, of one storey with attic, casement windows, a slate roof with gable ends, and a stone end stack.

Avenbury is a civil parish in Herefordshire, England. It is on the A465, just south of Bromyard, and by the River Frome. The population of this parish at the 2011 Census was 225.

Bromyard Downs is an area of registered common land, and a scattered settlement, just outside the town of Bromyard in Herefordshire, England. The 114 hectares of downs rise to over 700 ft where a plateau dominates the escarpment overlooking the town. The downs are a combination of gorse and grassland, wood and coppice. As of 2019 there were 93 registered commoners, some of whom with livestock grazing rights under the Commons Act 2006. Rights under the act include pasturage, estovers and turbary.

The A4103 is an A-road which runs from Worcester to the A480 in Stretton Sugwas, a village 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Hereford. The road is a primary route as far as the junction with the A465 east of Hereford, and is liable to flooding at Bransford, where it crosses the River Teme.
