Bromyard Downs is an area of registered common land, and a scattered settlement, just outside the town of Bromyard in Herefordshire, England. The 114 hectares of downs rise to over 700 ft where a plateau dominates the escarpment overlooking the town. The downs are a combination of gorse and grassland, wood and coppice. As of 2019 there were 93 registered commoners, some of whom with livestock grazing rights under the Commons Act 2006. Rights under the act include pasturage, estovers and turbary.

Queen Elizabeth High School is a high school with academy status situated in Herefordshire, on the outskirts of Bromyard. The school meets the educational needs of the children in the area, with feeder primary schools including Burley Gate Primary School, St Peters Primary School, Brockhamton Primary School, Bredenbury Primary School. The governing board recently changed the name back to Queen Elizabeth High School from Queen Elizabeth Humanities College.

Bishop's Frome (or Bishops Frome) is a village and civil parish in eastern Herefordshire, England. The village is 11 miles (18 km) north-east of the city and county town of Hereford, 8 miles (13 km) west of Malvern and 4 miles (6 km) south of Bromyard. The civil parish includes the hamlets of Halmond's Frome and Fromes Hill. The River Frome flows north to south through the parish and at the eastern edge of the village. Local agriculture includes the growing of hops and cider apples. Within the parish is a cider making company and a wine making business. Bishop's Frome gives its name to the Bishop's Frome Limestone which outcrops locally. Parish population at the 2011 census was 834. Although the parish is in Herefordshire, its mail is handled in Worcester and its outward postcode is WR6. St Mary's parish church at the south of the village is approached through a lychgate. The church contains a font over 700 years old, and a memorial depicting the carved figure of a knight in armour, sword in hand and a lion at his feet.

St Mary's Church is an Anglican church in Bishop's Frome, in Herefordshire, England, and in the Diocese of Hereford. The earliest parts date from the 12th century; restoration in the 19th century includes neo-Norman features. It is Grade II* listed.
