Sarajevo Synagogue

The Ješua D. Salom Mansion is located in the Municipality Centar in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since November 2008 it is listed as a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.Ješua D. Salom's mansion is located on the north side of the river Miljacka, on the Obala Kulina bana number 20 in a row between the buildings built during the Austro-Hungarian period, and on the opposite bank of the Miljacka is located the Ashkenazi synagogue.

The Drvenija Bridge is a bridge located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The bridge was built during the Austro-Hungarian reign in 1898 and crosses the river Miljacka. It is important heritage in downtown Sarajevo, and a feature in city's social life.

The National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian: Umjetnička galerija Bosne i Hercegovine / Умјетинчка галерија Босне и Херцеговине) is a national gallery of art in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in Sarajevo. The gallery was established on October 11, 1946, and contains over 6000 pieces of art. Its main focus are the works of Bosnian and Herzegovinian interest. The gallery was open and held exhibitions during the whole period of the siege of Sarajevo and the Bosnian war in 1992-1995. However, afterwards it received considerably less funding due to the failure of the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina to recognize the gallery as a national institution.The National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina was closed in September 2011 for almost a year because the gallery was unable to appoint a new director. The institution was opened in August 2012 with the arrival of acting director Strajo Krsmanović.

The Army Hall (Bosnian: Dom Armije / Dom Oružanih snaga; Officer Casino, The Military of Federation Home) is a building in Sarajevo that was built in 1881. It was originally a casino for officers, and it was named Dom JNA (Bosnian for “Home of JNA (Yugoslav People's Army”) during the existence of Yugoslavia. Today it is a national monument consisting of the casino building with four paintings by Ismet Mujezinović.

The Ćumurija Bridge in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina carries vehicular and pedestrian traffic over the River Miljacka. It was constructed in 1886. The first bridge was built of wood in 1565, during the time of the Ottoman Empire, and connected two mosques on either side of the river. The name Ćumurija derives from ćumur, meaning charcoal, which at one time was thrown from the bridge into the river.

The Cathedral Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos (Serbian: Саборна Црква Рођења Пресвете Богородице, romanized: Saborna Crkva Rođenja Presvete Bogorodice) is the largest Serbian Orthodox church in Sarajevo and one of the largest in the Balkans. The cathedral is designated National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the KONS. The cathedral is dedicated to the nativity of the Theotokos. It was erected at the request of the Orthodox parish of Sarajevo, with construction taking place between 1863 and 1868. The church is constructed as a three-section basilica inscribed in a cross-shaped plan, and has five domes. The domes are built on the beams; the central one is much larger than the other four side domes. The church is arched by round elements. The small gilded baroque-style belfry is built in front of the entrance. The interior walls are decorated by painted ornaments. In the lower zones of the walls the painted ornaments are simulating the marble stone construction look. Arches and vaults are decorated in ornaments only. In 1898, the Orthodox Metropolitan Palace was built near the cathedral. The head master for construction was Andreja Damjanov, a man from the Damjanovi-Renzovski family of master builders, masons, painters, carpenters, and stonecutters from the village of Papradište, near Veles.

Hotel Central is a historic hotel located in the center of the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo. It stands at the corner of Zelenih Beretki and Ćumurija streets. It was built in the 1880s, as part of the development of the Bosnian capital during Austro-Hungarian rule. The building was designed by Croatian architect Josip Vancaš. Unlike many other buildings constructed at that time in the emerging modern center of Sarajevo—buildings that referenced the architecture of Vienna and other cities of the monarchy, Vancaš drew inspiration from Oriental architecture, particularly Islamic design. For the two-story corner building, he designed windows in shapes typical of the Middle East with oriental motifs and horseshoe arches on the first floor. He emphasized the corner of the building with a first-floor balcony and a dome. The hotel was completed in 1889 and became the second hotel in the city, following Hotel Europe. The name Central was chosen because, at the time, Franz Joseph Street - today known as Zelenih beretki - served as the city’s main promenade. The hotel was completed in 1889 based on a design by architect Josip Vancaš and was financed by the city’s waqf (Islamic endowment). The building has three floors. Given its location on one of the most prominent sites in the city center, the Waqf Commission decided to lease out the entire building under the condition that a café would be established on the ground floor. The site where the hotel now stands was originally occupied by the Ajas Pasha Mosque, which was destroyed in 1697 when Eugene of Savoy set fire to Sarajevo. Although the mosque was rebuilt shortly thereafter, it was once again destroyed in a major fire that broke out in the Latinluk district in 1879. Following this second destruction, the mosque was not rebuilt. Instead, the waqf (Islamic endowment) decided to finance the construction of a hotel on the same site, which became known as Ajas Pasha’s Court (Ajas-pašin dvor). During the war in the 1990s, the hotel was largely destroyed and later completely reconstructed. During the restoration, only the outer walls were preserved, and the interior of the building was entirely rebuilt. The renovation of the façade aimed primarily to preserve the original architectural design of the decorative elements. The reconstruction was completed in 2008. The hotel is owned and managed by the Irish company Templeville Developments Ltd. and includes the Westwood Club & Spa within its facilities.

The Secondary School of Applied Arts Sarajevo (Bosnian: Srednja škola primijenjenih umjetnosti Sarajevo; Serbo-Croatian Cyrillic: Средња школа примијењених умјетности Сарајево) is a public secondary institution in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, specializing in applied and visual arts education. Established in 1892 during Austro-Hungarian rule, the school has played a pivotal role in preserving traditional crafts and fostering artistic development in the region.

Museum of Literature and Theater Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Serbo-Croatian: Muzej književnosti i pozorišnih umjetnosti Bosne i Hercegovine) is a literary art museum in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established under the name Museum of Literature of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1961 on the idea of then curator of literary collections in the Museum of Sarajevo, writer Razija Handžić, the future director. In 1970, the Theater Department was founded and added to the Museum of Literature. The idea was conceived around 1955, and gained traction when prominent writer and future Nobel Prize in literature laureate, Ivo Andrić, decided that the original manuscript of his novel The Bridge on the Drina be kept in Sarajevo. The museum is located in the Baščaršija neighborhood in the heart of Sarajevo, in the older of two Despić family house, built in the middle of the 19th century, and whose members donated it to City of Sarajevo.

Kulovića Street (Bosnian: Kulovića ulica; Serbo-Croatian Cyrillic: Куловића улица) is a notable thoroughfare in the city center of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It runs in a north–south direction, connecting Obala Kulina bana with Marshal Tito Street, and intersects with Branilaca Sarajeva Street. The street lies in close proximity to landmarks such as the Sarajevo National Theatre and the Sarajevo Youth Theatre.

Strossmayer Street (Bosnian: Štrosmajerova ulica; Serbo-Croatian Cyrillic: Штросмајерова улица) is a prominent pedestrian thoroughfare located in the Stari Grad municipality of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Renowned for its Austro-Hungarian architecture and central location, the street serves as a vital link between historical and modern parts of the city.

Ferhadija street is one of main pedestrian streets in Sarajevo, located in the municipalities of Centar and Stari Grad. The street is named after Ferhad-bey Vuković-Desisalić, a Bosnian sanjak-bey who lived in the 16th century.Ferhadija street connects to Sarači street on its east side and Marshal Tito street on its west side, and the entire street is a pedestrian zone.
