Vrilissia (Greek: Βριλήσσια) is a suburban town and a municipality of the North Athens regional unit, in the Attica region. It is located in the Athens basin, at the southwestern foot of the Penteli Mountain. At the 2011 census, the municipality had 30,741 residents.

Chalandri (Greek: Χαλάνδρι), also known as Halandri on signage, is a station on Athens Metro Line 3. It opened on 24 July 2004 and served as the original northern terminus for four days, until Doukissis Plakentias opened. The eastbound platform has a mural by Rena Papaspirou, titled Images Through Matter (2010).

Sismanogleio General Hospital (Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Σισμανόγλειο) in Vrilissia, Athens is one of the largest public hospitals in Greece. Its name in Katharevousa is Sismanogleion (Σισμανόγλειον). During the 2009 swine flu pandemic Seismanogleion treated the first swine flu patient in Greece.

Doukissis Plakentias (Greek: Δουκίσσης Πλακεντίας), sometimes known simply as Plakentias, is an Athens Metro and Suburban Railway station situated at the end of Doukissis Plakentias Avenue in Chalandri, a municipality in the regional unit of North Athens, Attica, Greece. It is named after the Duchess of Plaisance, a philhellene who owned much of the land in the part of Attica where the station now stands. The metro station lies underground, while the Suburban Railway station lies within the median strip of the Attiki Odos motorway. The station is located within the administrative boundaries of the municipality of Chalandri near the settlement of Patima. The Transport for Athens-operated bus station allows access to the northeast suburbs of Athens, northern Mesogeia and East Attica. It is also the junction of Motorway 6 and the Hymettus ring road. In addition, it is used by the municipal transport services of Chalandri and Vrilissia. Private car parking, taxi and local bus services are also available.

Phlya (Ancient Greek: Φλύα or Φλυά) was a deme of ancient Attica that lay in the Mesogaea. It must have been a place of importance from the number of temples which it contained, and from its frequent mention in inscriptions.The site of Phlya is located near modern Chalandri.

Agia Paraskevi (Greek: Αγία Παρασκευή), also known as Aghia Paraskevi on signage, is a station on Athens Metro Line 3. It opened on 30 December 2010, although its construction necessitated disruption of metro services east of Ethniki Amyna.

The Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (Greek: Εθνική Επιτροπή Τηλεπικοινωνιών και Ταχυδρομείων, Ethniki Epitropi Tilepikoinonion kai Tachydromeion) or EETT is a Greek independent authority with administrative and financial autonomy. It acts as the National Regulatory Authority (NRA) in matters of provision of services and networks for electronic communications, related facilities and services, and postal services: Its operation is governed by articles 6 to 11 of Law 4070 (Government Gazette 82/A/2012). EETT regulates, supervises and monitors: The electronic communications market, which is primarily dominated by companies/providers of fixed and/or mobile telephony, wireless communications and Internet. The use of the radio frequency spectrum, having, inter alia, the competency to grant, revoke or restrict the usage rights for radio frequencies and the licensing of antenna constructions as well as matters relating to the conditions for placing on the market and use of radio equipment. The postal market, in which postal services providers operate. EETT also operates as competition commission, with all relevant powers and monitoring rights, for the implementation of the national and European legislation regarding competition in the above markets. In this context, EETT ensures the smooth operation of the markets, effectively addressing the risks of distorting competition and defending users’ rights.

The Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) (Greek: Ινστιτούτο Επεξεργασίας του Λόγου, ΙΕΛ) is an Athens based, Greek non-profit private foundation focusing on applied research in various areas mainly related to language technology. In 1991 ILSP was established as a research institute; it operates under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation, Ministry of Development and Investment. ILSP is the oldest institute of Athena Research & Innovation Center in Information, Communication and Science Technologies. The institute also has a division in Xanthi.The goal of ILSP is to support the growth of Language Technology in Greece. Melissia (Greek: Μελίσσια) is a town and a suburb in the northeastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Penteli, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 3.956 km2. Melissia is situated at the southwestern foot of the Penteli mountains, 12 km northeast of Athens city centre. It is a green residential town. It was part of the municipality of Marousi until 1946, when it became a separate community. It became a municipality in 1990. The population of Melissia was more than 22,000 at the 2011 census. It has six primary schools, two high schools (Greek "Gymnasium"), one lyceum and a modern municipal swimming-pool.

Kifisias railway station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Κηφισίας, romanized: Sidirodromikós Stathmós Kifisías) is a station located on Kifisias Avenue in Marousi, a municipality of the regional unit of North Athens, Attica, Greece, located in the median strip of the Attiki Odos motorway. It was first opened on 30 July 2004, along with the first section of the Athens Airport–Patras railway, and is located in the median strip of Motorway 6, at the interchange of Kifisias Avenue, from which the station is named. The station consists of an island platform and a train storage line. In the future, it will meet with Metro Line 4, through Paradise Station, which is planned to open after 2035. The station should not be confused with the metro station of Line 1, which lies further north in the suburb of Kifisia.

The Broadcasting House or House of Radio (Greek: Ραδιομέγαρο, romanized: Radiomégaro) is an office and broadcasting installation building in Athens, Greece. It currently houses the Greek state broadcaster, the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation.
