Kifisias railway station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Κηφισίας, romanized: Sidirodromikós Stathmós Kifisías) is a station located on Kifisias Avenue in Marousi, a municipality of the regional unit of North Athens, Attica, Greece, located in the median strip of the Attiki Odos motorway. It was first opened on 30 July 2004, along with the first section of the Athens Airport–Patras railway, and is located in the median strip of Motorway 6, at the interchange of Kifisias Avenue, from which the station is named. The station consists of an island platform and a train storage line. In the future, it will meet with Metro Line 4, through Paradise Station, which is planned to open after 2035. The station should not be confused with the metro station of Line 1, which lies further north in the suburb of Kifisia.

Maroussi Saint Thomas Indoor Hall, or Maroussi Agios Thomas Indoor Hall (alternate spelling: Marousi), is an indoor sporting arena that is located in Marousi, Greece. The arena is only about 500 m (1,600 ft) away from the Athens Olympic Sports Complex, which is also known as the OAKA, and the Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall. The arena is primarily used to host basketball games. The indoor hall is owned by the municipality of Maroussi. The seating capacity of the indoor basketball arena is 1,700 people.

The Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) (Greek: Ινστιτούτο Επεξεργασίας του Λόγου, ΙΕΛ) is an Athens based, Greek non-profit private foundation focusing on applied research in various areas mainly related to language technology. In 1991 ILSP was established as a research institute; it operates under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation, Ministry of Development and Investment. ILSP is the oldest institute of Athena Research & Innovation Center in Information, Communication and Science Technologies. The institute's mission is mainly to support research by successfully combining the basic and applied perspectives and pursue complementary collaborations in the areas of interest, while maintaining a societal and industrial relevance.ILSP has been creating the necessary technical infrastructure and a collaborative interdisciplinary framework enabling to: establish a comprehensive digitized repository of Modern Greek language data and resources to be used for a variety of purposes (research, education, preservation, evolution, dissemination, translation etc.) work on the interface between Modern Greek language and the other languages of the world develop highly innovative language and semiotic technologies.

Marousi or Maroussi (Greek: Μαρούσι), also known as Amarousio (Αμαρούσιο), is a city and a suburb in the northeastern part of the Athens urban area, Greece. Marousi dates back to the era of the ancient Athenian Republic; its ancient name was Athmonon (Ἄθμονον) and it represented one of the 10 Athenian sub-cities. The area held a main ancient temple, where Amarysia Artemis, the goddess of hunting, was adored. Consequently the city's modern name derives from that of the goddess, Amarysia, which denotes the origin of the worship back in Amarynthos, Euboea.

The Spathario Shadow Theatre Museum is a museum in Maroussi, Athens, Greece. It exhibits mostly shadow puppet artifacts and it is named after prominent Greek puppet shadow artist Evgenios Spatharis. It was established in 1991 in the municipality of Maroussi and opened in 1996.

Marousi (Greek: Μαρούσι), also known as Maroussi, is an Athens Metro station in Marousi, a northern suburb in Athens. The station is served by Line 1, and is 23.46 kilometres (14.58 miles) down the line from the southern terminus of Piraeus, between Nerantziotissa to the south and KAT to the north.The station is managed by STASY, and was rebuilt with step-free access as part of the renovation of Line 1 in 2004.

Athmonum or Athmonon (Ancient Greek: Ἄθμονον), also Athmonia (Ἀθμονία), was a deme of ancient Attica, situated on the site of the Marousi (Amarousion). The name of the modern village has been derived from Amarysia, a surname of Artemis, who was worshipped under this designation at Athmonum. An inscription found near Marousi, in which the temenos of this goddess is mentioned, puts the matter beyond dispute. Athmonum also possessed a very ancient temple of Aphrodite Urania. The inhabitants of this deme appear to have been considered clever wine-dressers.

Neratziotissa or Nerantziotissa (Greek: Νερατζιώτισσα or Νεραντζιώτισσα respectively), is a complex of two train stations located in the median strip of the Attiki Odos motorway in Marousi, a northern suburb of Athens, Greece. The first is a station of Line 1 of the Athens Metro, and the second is a Athens Suburban Railway (suburban rail) station. It takes its name from the nearby Byzantine church of Παναγία Νεραντζιώτισσα (Panagía Nerantziótissa), which was itself named for the abundance of bitter orange trees in the area. The station is near The Mall Athens, a large American-style shopping mall. It is also close to the Athens Olympic Sports Complex. Nerantziotissa station was built for the 2004 Olympic Games, opening on 6 August 2004. It is served by lines 1, 4 and 5 of the Athens Suburban Railway, all of which terminate at Athens Airport.

The German School of Athens (German: Deutsche Schule Athen, DSA; Greek: Γερμανική Σχολή Αθηνών, ΓΣΑ), also known as the Dörpfeld Gymnasium, is a coeducational independent, kindergarten, elementary school and high school in Marousi, Athens, Greece.The school has been in operation since 1896 and was founded by architect and archeologist Wilhelm Dörpfeld. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious private schools in Greece, after a very large number of students graduating from the school has excelled in politics, the arts, science and business. While at kindergarten and elementary school level no differentiation of school systems is made, high school is currently split into a German section (with students eventually graduating with the German high school diploma) and a Greek section (with students graduating with German and optionally an additional Greek high school diploma). Pupils take entry exams in order to become students of the latter section so the school is considered highly selective. However, the school is currently undergoing a transition phase towards a unitary high school system. Upholding the tradition of an environment friendly school, the German School of Athens had Greece's largest solar roof installed before the 2004 Olympic Games. The project was backed by German Federal Ministry of Economics and Labor (BMWA), the German Energy Agency and the Greek-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Rizarios (or Rizareios) Ecclesiastical School of Athens (Greek: Ριζάρειος Εκκλησιαστική Σχολή Αθηνών ή Ριζάρειος Σχολή) is a Greek Orthodox historical educational institution founded at 1841, by Manthos and Georgios Rizaris, who was members of the Society of Friends (Filiki Eteria).

The Athens Olympic Tennis Centre is a grouping of 16 tennis courts at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex, in Marousi, Athens, Greece. The centre consists of a main stadium, known as The Main Court, seating 8,600 fans - though only 6,000 seats were made publicly available during the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2004 Summer Paralympics- two semifinal courts, seating 4,300 spectators - though only 3,200 seats were made publicly available during the Olympics - and thirteen side courts, seating 200 observers each. Each of the courts use the DecoTurf cushioned acrylic surface, the same surface as the U.S. Open Grand Slam event. The Main Court, in particular, is extremely large by the standards of major tennis competitions, with the seats being relatively far removed from the tennis court.

The Athens Olympic Tennis Centre Main Court, commonly known simply as, "The Main Court", is the main stadium of the Athens Olympic Tennis Centre, which is a group of 16 tennis courts, located at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex. The Main Court seats 8,600 people for tennis matches.
