Lerum Municipality

Lerum is a locality and the seat of Lerum Municipality in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 16,855 inhabitants in 2010.

Stamsjö (or Hallsåsåsen) is a locality situated in Lerum Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden with 408 inhabitants in 2010.

Lerums gymnasium is an upper secondary school in Lerum, Sweden, 20 kilometres outside of Gothenburg. It's a relatively young school, founded as late as in 1980. The first school building was a converted bottle cap factory; since then the school area has grown into a small "campus" with several old and new buildings of varying style, all set in lush parkland. Today, Lerum Secondary School has about 1500 students aged 16 - 19 with approximately 200 staffmembers. There is also a section for adult students. The school offers 14 national educational programmes, both vocational, aesthetic and academically orientated ones. In addition, the school offers young yachting talents a possibility of combining sail training with school studies within the Sailing College, an integrated part of the school, based on Lake Aspen. Also integrated in the school is the College of Arts and Crafts located at Nääs Castle, the very first of its kind in Sweden, with a history going back 120 years.

Stenkullen is a part of Lerum Municipality, Sweden. Stekullen is situated by the river Säveån. It is home for the soccer team, Stenkullens GoIK, and the ice hockey team, Lerums boll klubb (LBK), where NHL player Loui Eriksson started playing hockey. Stenkullen has the largest skatepark in the Municipality.

It had 8,021 inhabitants in 2010 and is situated 54 meters above sea level at Lake Sävelångens entrance to River Säveån. Floda has a station on the Gothenburg commuter rail system, Alingsås line. The station house was completed in 1903, but has gone through many changes since then. Skallsjö Church in Floda was built in 1861–1863 to replace what today is the Skallsjö Church ruins, situated two kilometers to the south-west of the church. The oldest parts of the original Skallsjö Church was built in the 13th century (1200-1299). Floda is the home of: Felicia Brandström, Swedish singer Football club Floda BoIF, Swedish Division 4. Härryda (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈhæ̂ˌrːyːda]) is a locality situated in Härryda Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 968 inhabitants in 2010. Despite its name it is not the seat of the municipality, which is the much larger Mölnlycke. Härryda is the closest locality from the Göteborg Landvetter Airport, three kilometers (2 miles) from the terminal building. It is located right under the flight path, so there is a high noise level. Many residents work at the airport and are therefore more forgiving against airplane noise.

Göteborg Landvetter Airport (IATA: GOT, ICAO: ESGG) is an international airport serving the Gothenburg (Swedish: Göteborg) region in Sweden. With just over 6.8 million passengers in 2018 it is Sweden's second-largest airport after Stockholm–Arlanda. Landvetter is also an important freight airport. During 2007, 60.1 thousand tonnes of air cargo passed through Landvetter, about 60% of the capacity of Arlanda. The airport is named after Landvetter locality, which is in Härryda municipality. It is 11 NM (20 km; 13 mi) east-southeast of Gothenburg and 40 km (25 mi) west of Borås. It is operated by Swedavia, the national airport company. Since the closure of Göteborg City Airport for commercial operations, it's the city's only commercial passenger airport.

Jonsered Manor is a 19th-century manor located in Jonsered, Partille kommun, Sweden. The mansion's garden has won the 2015 Elmia Inspira award for 'Sweden's most inspiring park'. Jonsered Manor is now being managed by University of Gothenburg as its cultural and intellectual centre. The centre now hosts events and academic conferences.
